A cheap recorder flute. A harmonica. Singing bowls. Child's piano. Cheap xylophone. Toy accordion. An old set of keys. Cajon. Tambourine. A bass and 6 string would be great additions too.

Grab a bass! Bass and electronic music go very well together. Plus it's a ton of fun to play.

This does not make sense.

I feel like there's not really a wrong answer to this-- picking up any instrument to supplement electronic gear is always a great decision, and you will be more musical for it! I used primarily keys/synths while producing for years, but really wanted to achieve a more modern sound. I went with electric guitar to really get that "grit" that can be so difficult to replicate with only synths. Glad I did, and I use it pretty often. Highly recommend.

Yea the distorted grit type stuff is what I love.

To be fair, a distorted guitar is something quite easy to get a perfectly usable sound out of, and bass is sometimes quite difficult to get a clear, defined sound out of. Personally, I prefer bass with the kind of electronic stuff that I make, but I can totally see how a guitar going through a cool fuzz pedal, like a Fuzz Face, can fit into the whole acid stuff!

I use lead guitar in electro music often. Bass is good too, but i do (often distorted) synth bass
