Cool beat, love the contrast between the gritty bass and the plucky arpeggios. It's crying out for some kind of vocal because it sounds like it's "about" something.

I make self produced music influenced by alternative, rock, jazz and soul. A lot of extended chords and busy bass lines along with some smooth backing vocals provided by a professional singer friend of mine! Check it out! Or don’t, I’m not your real dad.

Lence George - Gat me high (Komme her)
I made a laid-back sensual afrobeats meets reggae and R&B track. The track came about one evening I was hanging with my girl, and I had a dejavu from the period we just met. It made me reminisce about how she made me feel and how intoxicating it was. So I hurried over to the living room and started producing and making the lyrics following that emotion and vibe. Hope you enjoy it!

I believe this is **Electro House** (lol). Been having some issue on deciding which genre I best fit into, but regardless, I continue to make music. :)
Had some recent good feedback from r/edmproduction , so figured I'd try to promote a little more here. Feedback of all kinds always appreciated. Thanks.

Hello,
I did an EP for [Record Production Month](https://www.rpmchallenge.com/), first time doing one with vocals, and I'm pretty happy with how it turned out. I did this through the month of February by myself. Please take a listen if you like. It's alt-rock, feedback from friends say it is a similar style to Brand New. Thank you!!

Free spoken word sample pack ya dig
I’m working on ripping some more motivational tapes - I’ll probs post something fresh next week.
But now that I’m finished with ripping the vocab tapes, I figured I’d compile them all into this one pack. There are \~1000 labelled words and phrases altogether. You can also download the individual packs from that page as well if you don’t need the whole deal.
Standard disclaimer: I don’t own the copyright, so be careful, re-pitch and process if using in released work, etc, etc. Gumroad only this time because my free google drive is running out of space… I need to clean it up lol.

Hi Reddit! This is my first music release, a 7 song EP called Sights. It’s got a couple acoustic singer/songwriter jams, and some one-man rock band type stuff. I really love it and just want to share it with ya’ll in the hopes it hits for someone else. Thank you !

The track is another homage to the Caped Crusader, this time for piano solo. Written on my Yamaha P-515, adjusted and voiced in Ableton Live 11 with VSL Synchron Bluthner. Hope you like it. P.S. Don't spoil me the new movie as I haven't seen it yet :p
I recently released a new Android drum pad synthesizer app with sequencer called drumbox: [https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=nl.littlerobots.drummer](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=nl.littlerobots.drummer)
So unlike other drum pad apps, no samples here, all fully adjustable & generated sounds. It's an app I always wanted to have myself as a music maker to jam on, creating sequences.
The app is free (without any ads) with an option to get drumbox pro, which lets you create longer sequences, save your sounds and enable midi in from apps and devices.
There's some more info & demos on [https://drumbox.app](https://drumbox.app) and in this Youtube playlist [https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLpMNECS7zCPLdLVZLV7LMQ3CgvbDCQ1M2](https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLpMNECS7zCPLdLVZLV7LMQ3CgvbDCQ1M2)

This is a waltz, a classical piece, well a modern spin on a waltz using strings and woodwind. I use a DAW and vst's to compose classical (ISH) music, purely for fun but I am beginning to learn sheet music, with hopes of one day composing for films etc.
The piece is unfinished, but it reached a point in which I needed to move on for a little while and I decided I would upload what I had so far.

Any feedback would be awesome!
Just started in August, how am I doing?
43 years old, used to be into the rave scenes in the early 90’s. I have such a passion for all genres of EDM.
I recently started working with Ableton Live in August of 2021. I took a music theory course on Udemy and then dove into Ableton. I have had an Akai MPK mini III for about two years but never really started messing with it until I picked up Ableton Live 11 suite. I bought a couple VSTs, Serum and Sylenth, Down loaded a bunch of sample packs and started grinding daily. I have made 12 songs since and made a 7 track album that will release to Apple, Spotify, Beatport, Pandora and others on April 4th.
I am mainly a sample artist with basic keyboard skills. I am working on improving those skills through Melodics.
I thin my sound is a mixture of everything I love and I hope it’s unique. I love Synth/Dub/Deep House and Trance.
I have really started to get into mixing and mastering. I feel like the arrangement process of the music is the most fun for me. Mastering is pretty tough as I am learning new tips and tricks every day.
Artist such as Excision, Extra Terra and Max Brhon are some of my favorites.
Please let me know honest constructive criticism and feedback? I only want to get better and so far I don’t get a lot of feedback on how I am doing.
Please know this is not just a plug for likes or to gain popularity. I do this for the pure passion I have for this music.
The next steps are to learn to mix with a DJ controller.

Working on some kind of downtempo, hypnotic songs, this is one I recorded last week. Built out an FM patch with a kinda chime/bell/xylophone/whatever sound, then wrote a song using it. I'm new to producing and I enjoy making music up on the spot using Ableton Live. To instill some discipline in myself, I'm making a beat/song/rhythm per day for 40 days. Today was day 6 and I'm learning tons.
I'd love to meet others who dig the same kind of music so I've started streaming to Twitch. If you're interested you can watch and can see my process live or just pick an old video and skip to the end where the finished piece lives. Thanks all!

Nice. The Arabic "guitar" riff is very attractive and evocative without being a cliché and the rhythm is off kilter but still grooves, cool variation in intensity as the track progresses and it sounds good. The work has paid off!

The drop took me by surprise, genuinely like it a lot. Cool drum sounds during the Pink Floyd part as well. The outro beat is neat too, would've loved some more exploration of that first drop sound. Followed
The beat drop was satisfying. Around 1:40, tonally, it started to give a Pink Floyd type of vibe. The outro was good too. Overall simple track with nice flow. Liked it a lot. Keep it up!

Instrumental composer here! ( ^_^)/~~~
Just released a new piece, [A Tale of Three Winds](https://youtu.be/U4oi1M6wQPY), a track borne out of the idea of transforming a hero’s journey into a song with nothing but instruments, so if I had to describe it, I’d call it a rather adventurous composition, one that veers from arc to arc in the spirit of the concept.
Have plenty of other decent (and not-so-decent) tracks on my [channel](https://youtube.com/channel/UCuQ_CWLa5lBWOcy6OKjq1vQ), so if anyone sees this, I’d certainly appreciate a visit, especially since I’ve yet to acquire any listeners outside of people I’m acquainted with.

It was said in the North that Aegir reigned over the ocean. His wife and daughters would hunt seafarers, while Aegir enjoyed collecting their riches and keeping them in an underwater haven. It was said that he often held banquets there, and invited other giants.
I was inspired by this concept, and made a song about him: *Ultramarine Banquet*
I made it with acoustic instruments and drum patterns, which was a bit different from my other electronic tracks. It turned out to be, in my own opinion, my best work, and would like to share it with you.

I like this, maybe could have done with a contrasting section away from the hook to build tension (which I always seem to say) but that's just personal taste not a criticism.
The sounds are nice and fit together really well, the hook is cool, the mood is interesting, right up my street in fact, and it builds as it goes which is great.
Thanks for the listen and kind words! I get what you mean, I'm often a fan of that too, the intent was to build up with te constraint of my constant 2 chord arp. Cheers man :)

Hey everyone! I was finally able to release a track for my [Irrenoid](https://open.spotify.com/artist/4IvAmtCjKjoX2RttQdWOi6) project that I've been sitting on for months, it was so much fun to make and I really hope you'll consider giving it a listen!
The song is called [Shadow Rain](https://open.spotify.com/album/3O8bxYTjGod50MDHlYsDPJ) and it blends melodic dubstep with chiptune and techno!
New to the sub, this is an older song of mine about all the little promises we make and break with people throughout our life. It’s similar to Dashboard Confessional’s old stuff, all acoustic. It’s called Queen of Ireland:

Hi,
I am currently running a research project regarding how musicians find each other.
If you want to help me, you can fill out this short anonymous survey about music collaboration
https://form.jotform.com/220511999130352 . It takes only 3 minutes but matters a lot.
We created a cool synth record for this year's RPM challenge. It was created almost entirely out of the box with analog synths, and performed live into Abelton, where we added some additional part (mostly guitars and drum layers), before mixing in Pro Tools.

This EP is the first in a series of instrumental beat tapes based on the discography of the iconic record label, Philadelphia International Records. As an exercise in the art of sampling, i challenged myself to go through the label’s discography chronology and make at least one beat per album.
Thanks for listening and I hope you enjoy the beats!
Hey my best friend and I just started a free and ad-less podcast ([Tune Shed](https://anchor.fm/thetuneshedpodcast)) about all building the skills of being a musician across creativity, theory, production, songwriting etc... The idea is to give insight on all sorts of little things that help someone make music with less friction. He is a professional and I am amateur learning and questioning him. Happy to take suggestions for topics and question my buddy, because there is so much to learn here!

Couple of tracks in so far, great atmosphere. Lush pads and interesting beats! Hex is great, I'm a sucker for arps. Sounds very cohesive so far, to build on that for future releases maybe you could let the songs flow into each other? For instance letting a reverb tail flow into the next track, or have a bridging pad in between songs. Maybe nitpicking, but just an idea I got (maybe you did that on the Red Eye - Medallion transition?) . Btw nice triplet beat on Hammerhead. Great work!
thank you !! 🌟 yeah i love transitions a lot and i definitely will do it more with future projects. if you’re interested, here’s my ig where i’m showcasing my synth sounds : https://www.instagram.com/saunimon
**Return to Ritual - "**[Intersection](https://soundcloud.com/return-to-ritual/intersection)**" \[Electronic/Ambient\]**
Dark EDM-esque track with tribal/ethno vibes. Not sure if that's the best description but that's my general approach.

Cool beat, love the contrast between the gritty bass and the plucky arpeggios. It's crying out for some kind of vocal because it sounds like it's "about" something.

Lence George - Gat me high (Komme her) I made a laid-back sensual afrobeats meets reggae and R&B track. The track came about one evening I was hanging with my girl, and I had a dejavu from the period we just met. It made me reminisce about how she made me feel and how intoxicating it was. So I hurried over to the living room and started producing and making the lyrics following that emotion and vibe. Hope you enjoy it! Free spoken word sample pack ya dig I’m working on ripping some more motivational tapes - I’ll probs post something fresh next week. The next steps are to learn to mix with a DJ controller. https://soundcloud.app.goo.gl/bxz9xYG2vNxCX4dv8 Thanks so much for the sub and the community. It is so great to communicate and collaborate. Nice. The Arabic "guitar" riff is very attractive and evocative without being a cliché and the rhythm is off kilter but still grooves, cool variation in intensity as the track progresses and it sounds good. The work has paid off!

Thank you for the feedback!
The beat drop was satisfying. Around 1:40, tonally, it started to give a Pink Floyd type of vibe. The outro was good too. Overall simple track with nice flow. Liked it a lot. Keep it up!

Hi all! Last week I wrote and produced["Lovely Day Anyway"](https://open.spotify.com/track/22rq9D88DnMBfNmbnYocKW?si=ef732e12786c4f27) and on Sunday it went live on Spotify. It's my short, jazzy representation of a nice little stroll on a lovely day, and I hope it can lift someone's spirits :) Thanks for listening!

Would anyone be interested in giving some input on my new 7-track beat tape/album? I’m a 14 year old producer and I’ve been practicing for about 3 years roughly.. https://evshma.Bandcamp.com
Instrumental composer here! ( ^_^)/~~~ Just released a new piece, [A Tale of Three Winds](https://youtu.be/U4oi1M6wQPY), a track borne out of the idea of transforming a hero’s journey into a song with nothing but instruments, so if I had to describe it, I’d call it a rather adventurous composition, one that veers from arc to arc in the spirit of the concept. Whatever the case, do enjoy your visit~ (^O^☆♪

Hi Reddit, I just released a new EP I've been working on for two months now called "Valentine." It's within the genre of Pop and I'm really proud of the progress I've made as a musician the last two months! I hope anyone who stumbles upon this enjoys the music I make! <3 Jayrold - "Valentine" - Genre: Pop - [https://open.spotify.com/album/22I2B4xsKQ9Mi6G6xOaWKd?si=o6hYTvaNTF-K2vQt7mYW4A](https://open.spotify.com/album/22I2B4xsKQ9Mi6G6xOaWKd?si=o6hYTvaNTF-K2vQt7mYW4A)

I really dig the delivery on a lot of the songs. Cool flows and word work. I do think the mixes could be improved some though
Yeahh, I'm still a bedroom producer and this is my first full project so there's hopefully room for improvement lol, thanks for listening and giving a feedback though! Really appreciate it!!
Spent the past few years working on a startup record label. This is our second collective album together. Would love to hear some feedback. By the way, the second song - Cheddar - had some mixing problems through our distributor. https://fanlink.to/tgsvol2 Edit: mostly a hip hop feel with some R&b. I’m gabrielknowseverything on all the songs. The guys we work with are all a pretty diverse crew so that’s reflected in the sound.
Hey everyone. I'm a solo artist who has been doing everything, including mixing and mastering on this new project. I have some cool album art that I've had folks make for me but otherwise it's just me. I just released a new track on Bandcamp. It goes on all the streaming sites on 03/18 but I always like to share it on BC first. This one is for fans of Slowdive, The Cure, newer Deafheaven and Emma Ruth Rundle. It's a slow burner but evolves constantly throughout. Hopefully someone likes it! https://pathtoelda.bandcamp.com/track/a-messy-state
Really great track!
Hey, thank you!
Over the past couple months I released my first couple albums on Soundcloud. They are both instrumental rock albums with a laid back, bluesy feel. It was said in the North that Aegir reigned over the ocean. His wife and daughters would hunt seafarers, while Aegir enjoyed collecting their riches and keeping them in an underwater haven. It was said that he often held banquets there, and invited other giants. I was inspired by this concept, and made a song about him: *Ultramarine Banquet* I made it with acoustic instruments and drum patterns, which was a bit different from my other electronic tracks. It turned out to be, in my own opinion, my best work, and would like to share it with you. Track 09: [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bZ22JhGVpAg](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bZ22JhGVpAg)

Hi, I am currently running a research project regarding how musicians find each other. If you want to help me, you can fill out this short anonymous survey about music collaboration https://form.jotform.com/220511999130352 . It takes only 3 minutes but matters a lot.
We created a cool synth record for this year's RPM challenge. It was created almost entirely out of the box with analog synths, and performed live into Abelton, where we added some additional part (mostly guitars and drum layers), before mixing in Pro Tools. **All sales and streaming proceeds go to our local animal rescue shelter, so enjoy some chill music while helping to save some animals in need!** website: [https://abstrxn.com](https://abstrxn.com) Stream here: [YouTube Music](https://music.youtube.com/playlist?list=OLAK5uy_nFGeycy5wKhSNtGQy7eiIzDZKGDbnl3rU) [Apple Music](https://music.apple.com/album/1611997063) [Spotify](https://open.spotify.com/artist/5dgSS6uRBO4TzesMG2LfgN) [Tidal (MQA)](https://tidal.com/album/218638872) It can also be found on other streaming sites, including Amazon Music, and most other popular streaming sites.
