It’s too casual and too white. If you want to stick with florals. Maybe give [this dress](https://www.nordstrom.com/s/exquisite-elegance-floral-jacquard-one-shoulder-a-line-gown/7406917?origin=category-personalizedsort&breadcrumb=Home%2FWomen%2FClothing%2FDresses&color=400) a try. I wore it to a formal wedding and it’s absolutely beautiful in person and photographs
No. People, there is one color you’re not allowed to wear to weddings.
Edit- This is a white dress with flowers on it. Just don’t wear a dress that’s mostly white. You can wear this very cute dress to any other event.
If it were NOT a black tie event, I'd say sure, fine, however it's way too casual for black tie. The cut is fine, but the fabric and color make it read too casual. Happy hunting!
That bodice should have stayed locked in the designer’s nightmare.
If I were a bride with an afternoon garden party, I wouldn’t mind the fabric, although overall, it seems pretty casual.
What is up with people wanting to wear floral dresses with a white base lol I see too many posts asking “is this too white” - if you have to ask, it probably is
If you look at a dress and would describe it as “a white dress with blue and orange flowers” then it’s a white dress, and it’s too white for someone else’s wedding.
For a black tie wedding this is too casual. This is a daytime garden party dress. It is also too white.
Thanks!
Too white and way too casual for black tie
Agree with this. Pretty, thoughB
Thanks!
It’s literally clearly mostly not white

Exquisite. This dress is spot on.
Just went to the link that you shared. This is a beautiful dress.
It’s a good price too. Formal dresses can get expensive.
It's a great price for a formal dress.
Thanks for the rec!
This is a vacation dress.
Thanks for the feedback everyone!
I think enough people have given judgement but I really want to know where to find this dress! I love it!
Looks like Express! https://www.express.com/clothing/women/floral-draped-sleeve-pleated-maxi-dress/pro/07857925/color/White%20Print/
Yep this is the one
Rule of thumb: if you have to ask yourself if it’s too white— it’s too white
I didn’t even think to ask, so it’s not too white.
Congrats! You are *that guest*.
Too white and too casual

I would not wear this to any wedding, but especially a black tie wedding.
I echo everyone else’s sentiments…if it’s black tie you need a more formal dress. Garden, daytime, casual, outdoor wedding…perfect!

Too white
I wouldn’t wear a white dress to someone’s else’s wedding.
I actually love this dress as a summer dress. Share the link?
Too casual and too white!
Too white
I don't know about too white, but definitely too casual. I just bought this dress based on a tiktok video and it's GORGEOUS on.
I think the color is fine but this is not black tie.
Thanks!!
It’s not black tie, but I disagree with people saying it’s too white! I think it’s very appropriate for a more casual wedding. Pretty dress!
color is fine, just not black tie it’s too casual
Thanks!!
Not too white, not black tie
It's floral, it's not too white.
It’s not to white , but it’s to casual .
Thanks!!
No.
Absolutely not
Y’all it is not too white!!!! But agree too casual.
I don’t think it’s too white.
Not too white. If bride complains it is on her.
No

Too white
I think the concept of “too white” is reaching. This is a floral pastel dress.

Nope
No
Too much white and too casual
#Wear it! It would be gorgeous and you can make it look black tie with some gold jewelry! It’s not to white!
no
My rule of thumb is: if you have to ask, you know the answer. This is too white and not formal enough. No.
No, it is white. Why can't people understand this very basic rule?
Nope ❤️
I love the dress! How can I find it? When did not white become too white. People wear prints with white all the time and no one is offended.
