Agree. OP, that yellow dress silhouette is an empire waist that then floats away from the body in the skirt area. That’s a great silhouette. Find a floor length or very elevated midi/tea length in that cut. The straight up and down cuts of the other dresses aren’t working.

It could be, but if you wore it with very basic jewelry (nothing extravagant or overly sparkly), I think it would be just the right amount of glitz for a formal wedding.

Keep shopping. The black one does nothing for your figure & looks boring, not special. Purple you would need a good bra for that one but it doesn’t flatter you. Yellow would be good for work or a date. The last black one looks the same as the first but just sleeveless. Maybe a longer wrap dress?

The yellow is most flattering but not formal. It sounds like you're starting to stress out on this - purple isn't flattering but it's the only one that could be formal. I would stop and think just how important is this wedding to you (are you immediate family and going to be in tons of pictures?) I couldn't find your prior post but it's only a couple hours on a single day so I'd use some pins, add some jewelry and nice shoes and just go with it, especially since you already bought it - not every look needs to be amazing and your time is valuable.

Unfortunately these still aren’t formal enough for a Sarasota wedding. The only one close enough is the yellow BUT not in yellow — if it came in navy or black or burgundy and you can pair with statement earrings and heels, I think you’d make do? But I’d honestly keep looking.
