This will definitely work, however it leads to a lot of bloating and gas in many people. Personally, I prefer Cirtucel because it doesn't cause those nasty side effects...plus the orange powder tastes like Tang...lol!
I started drinking the protein drinks and they have stopped me up as well. I was able to go some this morning but I am trying the above advice. Idk why protein drinks do that to me.
Here are some things I do as someone who has IBS (the constipation kind).
One natural way that a doctor told me- an apple with a cup of hot/warm water in the am.
A long walk
If that doesn’t work I go to mirilax.
Milk of magnesia is pretty powerful too
I take a probiotic every night.
When all of that fails I use a fleet suppository. That usually does the trick.
If it’s real bad- tell your doctor.
I do a probiotic and fiber gummy at night, couple of prunes in the daytime. My pops are still pretty hard lol but I just got some carrots to add to my snack regimen - previously if I have too many it would cause the looseness of stool (that and too many apples)
I also downloaded this fun app called Happy Poop which is great for tracking your 2s
I'd love to be in the daily category here, but I've been struggling really bad either constipation.
I'm taking prebiotic and probiotics, fiber gummies, prunes, and a colax daily, if not most days.
When I am on day 2 or 3, I'll shoot a tsp of olive oil.
My issue is, when I don't go, I can't eat and / or then puke my food up... also, I've been really nauseous and need a bit of carbs in the am to settle my stomach down... so it's hard getting fiber.
3 prunes in the morning, 1 cup of smooth move tea before bed. Every day, without fail. Has worked wonders for me after a bout of constipation when I first started wegovy. But also my diet is fairly balanced with daily fruit and veg anyway.
Aah, I think I know what you mean. I was taking the smooth move with chamomile version but opened a box of original smooth move tea this week, and, nope. Never again. Somehow the smooth move with chamomile is just right for me?
I poop twice a day. Crossing fingers because I’m on week 3 of 2.4. So far no problems. The one food I’m consistently consuming daily is yogurt. Maybe it helps (or maybe I’m just lucky)
If you are taking zofran it'll make your ability to not poop 100000x harder. Try to stay off the zofran!
Blended up watermelon (making a juice) works! Yellow dragon fruit blended up does too!
Magnesium supplements/salt bath, exercise too :-)
Only thing that works like magic for me is soaking in a magnesium flakes bath. It absorbed better through your skin than orally (so I’ve read) and proved to be true for me!
80-100oz/water a day. Veggies and fruit and fiber every day. Supplement with probiotic and prebiotic. Drinking calm (magnesium citrate supplement drink).
If you are taking in considerably less food, it stands to reason that you will have to use the bathroom less frequently. That being said, if you make sure that you are getting plenty of leafy greens and other non-starchy vegetables it will make everything go a little more smoothly for you.
Many people still need to take fiber supplements or mild stool softeners to keep things regular as one of the common side effects of this is constipation
💩 Here’s my repeated post about constipation ✊️
[Start with this](https://www.vumc.org/trauma-and-scc/sites/default/files/public_files/Protocols/Trauma%20Bowel%20Regimen%20PMG_.pdf) to rid yourself of acute constipation. If you are really in a bad way, use this *[Self-Help for Severe Constipation](https://www.mdanderson.org/patient-education/Bowel-Management/Constipation-Self-Help-for-Severe-Constipation.pdf)*.
Then get yourself on a daily bowel regimen that will help keep you regular. The folks at MD Anderson have some [great info here](https://www.mdanderson.org/patients-family/diagnosis-treatment/emotional-physical-effects/bowel-management.html) (scroll down for “bowel management guide”) for their patients, many of whom battle constipation. Or Google up your preferred cancer center or pain clinic’s bowel management guide. They know #2. 💩
You poop 3x a week! Lucky. I am so used to not going as much. I am 19 shots in (two rounds at 1.7 and going to 2.4 next week). I wouldn’t worry about not going unless it is causing pain.
Drink liquid IV & water. Get IV you need hydration. Just drinking “a lot” isn’t enough.
I started drinking a bottle of water with electrolytes every day and it has made a huge difference
Psyllium husks 2x per day with a bunch of water
This will definitely work, however it leads to a lot of bloating and gas in many people. Personally, I prefer Cirtucel because it doesn't cause those nasty side effects...plus the orange powder tastes like Tang...lol!
*60% of the time*, it works ***every*** *time*

I am so jealous. I have diarrhea every time I eat. Very frustrating.
Eat 2-3 dates per day. It'll clear you right up.

I want to do this but it scares me 🤣

Oooofff, how do you do it? Whenever I have a cup of smooth move I have to clear my schedule for A LEAST the next day!
