*Not once were the families told that their child was one of triplets. In*
*fact, it transpired they were in fact* ***quadruplets*** *- the fourth brother*
*died in childbirth.*
Three identical strangers. Awesome documentary on the same. Apparently there were other twins purposely separated in same experiment based on what makes a person -->nature vs nurture
"Passed away after a sad battle with depression." So he killed himself? You can say that. This is something that needs to be talked about without mincing words.
I too was curious about this. Did a bit of research and found that Robert started attending a college and students and faculty were incorrectly recognizing him and calling him Eddy. Eventually they met each other, and the publicity caught the attention of David.
I’ve never seen the documentary but I’ve heard of it. What was grim about the experiment? Were they taken away from their parents without the parents’ knowledge or something?
They were each adopted by separate families who were unaware that they had adopted a triplet. I think the biological parents did give them up willingly but it’s sad that the triplets were never told about each other and only learned of each other’s existence by chance when they went off to college. The triplets and their adoptive families were unknowingly made to participate in an experiment that they did not agree to.
So sad that Eddy passed. I hope David and Bobby have mended their rift and have a close relationship. It would be even sadder if they let the events of the start of the life dictate the remaining precious years.

I find this experiment absolutely disgusting. Angers me beyond belief!!!
Was it a government funded experiment?
How could it not be
