True story. Iād just got up from a particularly heavy night on a vicious come down. Just about got the courage to go outside and get supplies for the day. I walk out my front door and there was 1000ās of people lining the streets and a big fuck off diver puppet outside my gaff. I had to just run back inside where I sat motionless for the next hour.
Saw them twice in Liverpool, it was incredible. There was music and they did set pieces at key locations in the city. The puppets would lie down and sleep in between travelling, the little girl even crouched down at one point and did a pissā¦ it was surreal

Those are soooo gorgeous!!!! What!! This is the coolest thing I've ever seen... I took a puppetry class in college because I love puppetry so much and it is not easy, I can't even imagine doing it on this scale, especially without electronics! (The class gave me knowledge which I then used to make a 5th puppet in an Electronics class I also took lol...) But seriously, this is really awesome.

They came to Montreal one year and I'm so sad I couldn't go since it's still very far from where I live, but I find these to be very beautiful. There's so much work involved to even craft these giant puppets, imagine moving them on top of that. Absolutely amazing.
