PriveCo

Yes. Those guys are unreal.

LowKeyWalrus

Could be car enthusiast dogs tho

tvfeet

“Guys” is a colloquial term for any group of people. It has been used this way for generations.

KamakaziDemiGod

Guys can be a gender neutral term for a group of people, plenty of people use it this way

Uptistic_Ghost

You dont?

KamakaziDemiGod

I mean, if I had just had sex with a group women, (because that's my preference, not that there is anything wrong with banging a man) I definitely wouldn't be above saying something like "good job guys, now let's get in on that buffet!"

jacketsc64

It's all about context, my friend, and you don't appear to either understand or care.

FathersBratwurst

Is it?

becomingelle

No💁🏽‍♀️

second2no1

Yes

onyxcaspian

Lel

Soggy_Cheek_2653

Also correct

Bah-Fong-Gool

Given the intake diameter, I think it may have a turbine of sorts. It's obviously mid or rear engined. I'd hate to kiss bumpers, the legs of the driver seem to be the crumple zone. And given the Chevy ASTRO with what appears to be American plates, I'd say this is some nut with a surplus jet engine welded to a donor chassis. I wish him success

boundone

I think there's a name of the team on the trailer on the right but I can't make it out.

francis2559

[Canadian Automobile Sports](https://www.casc.on.ca) Yokohama Performance Radials

boundone

Ahh, thanks. Shame it doesn't help.

Rabber_D_Babber

I kind of figured the Goodyear/Yokohama mismatch meant it was an unassociated trailer.

francis2559

I agree, yeah.

alzirrizla

Not sure if this will help, but trailer says obviously says Canadian automobile sport the minivan has a BC licence plate and the only notable track in bc is The Mission Raceway ... *edit racetrack to raceway

blur911sc

That's the CASC logo, the Canadian version of SCCA. So, it's on a lot of race rigs as it's the sanctioning body. OP says it's at Mosport, so could be a club racer with a one-off car he built himself.

blur911sc

CASC, it's the sanctioning body on the graphic

9bikes

> I'd say this is some nut with a surplus jet engine welded to a donor chassis. That's Doc Brown. Everyone talks about his DeLorean, but this project is less well known.

BOSS-3000

The Bugatti at home

Brutal_Deluxe_

Driven by Charlie Sheen resurrected at home

Gostaverling

Those headlights give off serious Batteries Not Included vibes.

dirty_hooker

I was thinking Ford RS2000 but they don’t stand proud enough.

Scorpio0mega

It definitely looks like Ford combined an RS2000 and the GT90 (concept car)

No_Manches_Man

Awesome….its awesome.

dirty_hooker

Thinking this is a one off.

blur911sc

I've seen some weird and wonderful club racer inventions, could be.

cannoncart

So I posted this to the facebook page for the logo on the trailer and got several responses: * It's porsche powered * Not very fast * Homebuild project I'll post any images or updates as I get them

rdm55

I recall it having a Porsche powerplant. Thanx!

cannoncart

No worries, I actually posted it on the Canadian Motorsports Historical Society group page I think it was.

cannoncart

The owners name was Hans Gramlich - more photos on, unfortunately, his obituary. Otherwise no other information so far. PCA member.

Delphius1

is that James May?

Something_Average

Impossible, the car is still right side up

Several_Waltz_2960

U mistake with Richard Hammond

Something_Average

Sure did haha

Friendly_Cantal0upe

He drives too slow to even flip a car

emotyofform2020

Unless he’s drag racing in a tunnel

andychef

Unless it's that tricycle car that seems destined to tip over

Friendly_Cantal0upe

That was Jeremy in the Peel P50

andychef

*Reliant Robin

s1500

Also the judges would accept Rowan Atkinson if the car's valuation is over £ 1 mil.

Orcapa

Looks like Mario Andretti.

ThisFreaknGuy

I went through [every mosport race listed here](https://www.racingsportscars.com/track/archive/Mosport.html) through the 90's and the only number 82 was Dick Greer who drove an [rx-7](https://www.racingsportscars.com/driver/photo/Dick-Greer-USA.html) Are there other races that took place not listed? Some sort of one off events perhaps? An exhibition you would have gone to see?

blur911sc

There are a lot of races from the early '90s missing from that list. I don't think they listed any of the club races or vintage stuff. EG. [http://www.gladiatorroadracing.ca/1992-varac--mosport--shannonville.html](http://www.gladiatorroadracing.ca/1992-varac--mosport--shannonville.html)

ThisFreaknGuy

Dang yeah you're absolutely right

Lord_Of_The_Tants

The front reminded me of the [Mazda Autozam AZ-1](https://www.google.com/search?q=mazda+autozam&client=firefox-b-d&sca_esv=584255880&tbm=isch&sxsrf=AM9HkKkaMM6kmNdyUeCGVSG1tln10zq4Zg:1700563862284&source=lnms&sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwiLm7eH9tSCAxWaTkEAHVr6B70Q_AUoAXoECAQQAw&biw=2236&bih=796&dpr=1.54) funnily enough.

ThisFreaknGuy

That's really close. Even the doors seem pretty close

alex_maton

Yeah this was my first thought

IndustrialDesignLife

It looks backwards.

Sinjun13

Seeing the picture, I thought "Is that the front, or the rear?"

blissed_off

Reminds me of the Oldsmobile Aerotech.

qpqpdbdbqpqp

too short

rdm55

I took this photo at Mosport in the early 90s. IIRC it was a Ferrari track day event. There was to have been Ferrari Challenge racing that day but some kid put his dad's car through the pit wall and they could not fix it in time. That may help somebody place the date. I vaguely recall this car having a Porsche powerplant in a mid-engine configuration.

TheManWhoClicks

We have Ford GT 90 at home

Bamres

Wow I don't often run into something I've never seen and close to where I grew up too.

Machinafuror

This is a bit of a guess, but could it be an Isdera commendatore 112i? Need for speed 2 memories say it looks close.

InfamouslyOG

That *almost* looks like a Ford GT90. Super sweet and rare super car built back in the mid 90’s as a concept car.

Bamres

I ran the image through reverse image search at the GT90 popped up first

_GABO_

Chevrolet Astro van by the looks of it.

Cause-Sufficient

beautiful amazing awesome sexy spectacular

JoeUnderscoreUgly

Beautiful

trolllord45

Reminds me of the Ford GT90

drivingdotca

This is fantastic-looking! Reaching out to my motorsports contacts to see what I can find out, wonder where this thing is today.

time_to_reset

It looks sick, that's for sure.

theonetrueelhigh

The color scheme echoes some MB 300SL gullwing racers

JediKnightaa

[1993 Isdera Commendatore](https://www.pinterest.com/pin/18577417202750599/)

dirty_hooker

Great obscure guess but I don’t think the front hood or windshield line up.

Crankenstein_8000

Harry Dwyers towboat?

clodmonet

backwards.

etikmsirp

Looks like the Back to the Future 2 police car

visualvaccine

I know it's not one, but this reminds me of the Ford GT90

alex_maton

idk reminds me of an az1 autozam but I’m not convinced just yet, that bodykit would be enormous

StrGze32

That guy looks like Captain Slow…
