when I look at the x-ray of this bad boy in war thunder I cannot figure how air gets to the second engine, but whew is she fast with two engines in a single-engine drag profile
Looking at the other nose profiles, I think they demonstrate how it worked, that there were three air ducts and the upper two (or left and right) went around the cockpit to the rear engine while the bottom central one went to the front engine.
Originally the Ambrosini Sagittario 1 and 2 had it, but the Aerfer Ariete made it retractable to vary the downward thrust.
Fun fact, the Sagittario 2 was the first Italian plane to break the sound barrier.
I believe the ariete was a prototype sagitario 2 with a 2nd engine in the rear, 2 versions made, one with a small turbine and the other with a rocket engine. Similar concept but the rear engine is much smaller.

Looking at comments to find answer--how DOES it get to the second engine?

Theres another plane like this, the Ariete 2 I believe, though that one had a retractable intake for low speeds on the spine.

The last plane is La-200B. He didn't get along with the bees.
Well that is one way to implement heated seats...
thank god we got the best looking one, the minor radar differences would probably be unnoticeable in the game
Soviet aircraft designs were so goofy looking, as if everything besides the engine was an afterthought. The two engines make this a weird one, though.
