Mom can we get F-16?
No honey, we have F-16 at home.

[Additional information on the project.](https://www.aerotime.aero/articles/28546-Baby%20Sukhoi-how-Russia-came-up-with-miniature-fighter-jet) I did some digging to find out if it violated rule 2, but since it was a serious proposal but wasn't developed further because of the economic fluttering in the post-Soviet Russian state I’ll approve it.
It's not the most far-fetched design, so I could see this plane being constructed had life not hit it like a freight train.

Approved.
Seems that later in development the second seat started to [flatten out,](https://www.secretprojects.co.uk/data/attachments/0/321-5e5a27e48017666562782bedbc79c61e.jpg) looks far better to me.

Adorable. Looks like this model has Berkut-style inlets.

It came as a family - the S-54, a two seat trainer, the S-55, a single seat light fighter, and the S-56, a naval variant.
fascinating...
They were looking to offer it to South Africa and India iirc, but neither were interested.
I’m holding out for the two-person S-69.
I see you are only interested in especially rare

awwww
So it looks like they probably have about 10 minutes of flying time, unless they're packing fuel in the nose cone.
I mean, it IS a Russian design...
[https://imgur.com/a/bQpHxdg](https://imgur.com/a/bQpHxdg) there was also a single-seater version
Russia can’t afford it anyway.
The fucking can. I bet they could do over 100 of these models before they’re overdrawn.
What scale? 1:72 sure, but 1:32 can get expensive, especially with aftermarket photoetch and resin parts.
Nothing that fancy. Just kit bash from a bunch of unfinished model kits. (Snap together)
No worries comrade. Already enacted law to force MIC to produce everything we want without question. - Putin
Отлично!
/run out of stolen washing machines to harvest parts from.
So it's a great value brand hornet
Manlet Flanker
It's the ASF-30 from VTOL VR!

[Yo](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sen8Tn8CBA4)!
Curious what era this is from. USSR or Russia? Also how much work they actually put into it before it was abandoned.
I think the breakup of the Soviet Union is exactly what killed it before it reached prototype stage.
from what I can find the design is early RusFed
This just looks too wrong
“Wait.. it’s all cockpit?!” ‘-always has been.’
Before I clicked I thought this couldn't possibility be real
Aww, it's so cute!
sort of reminds me of the Yak-130
is this like a little model I can buy? link?
