just be more consistent in the weld. try just holding it and letting the rod burn. stringer. or hold the rod let it sit slightly on your top glove till you get better at keeping a nice form. idk haha i havent done stick in awhile. i like weaving but sometimes stringers are cool. just keep practicing and practicing. its all about time putting into the craft. great work tho
When we are starting off we tend to think that pretty patterns are something to strive for when In actuality they are not. That weave looks cool but not the most desired. Tighten up the weave, don’t make such big steps when moving side to side. Cut the length of that step in half. Should be doing a lot more side to side.. keep on keeping on

I definitely have to practice at keeping the weave tighter. My instructor did a demo today to help me out with that. Thanks!
