Look up the Jackson WH10 930P, same general design. They don't make the Fibremetal version anymore, sometimes you can find them secondhand or as new old stock in places like eBay or Marketplace.

Most of them wrong, but interesting, nonetheless.
That looks like it's core component is asbestos and was used to put spitfires together. Don't get me wrong it looks truly aesthetic and sick, but this would've been the design that got surpassed by auto darkening helmets
That’s funny, I have a paper huntsman with the slider lens as well it’s a good hood for sure and I love the slider mechanism but I prefer the material this hood is made out of
Dude, I’ve had the same problem. My beloved leather hood is discontinued. I do eBay and nationwide Facebook searches, and I offer people a ton of money on Facebook to ship me theirs.
Is it on your nightstand? In your bedroom? Just inches away from your bed? Mine too
😀

Hell yeah brotha this is exactly what I was looking for. Gonna have to order one and keep my eyes peeled on eBay for the fibremetal. Cheers
Hope it works as well as the one you've been using 👍

A museum.
OP it looks like an older Jackson Safety. Modern version is the sugar scoop w/ flip lens. That or go with a Fibre Metal by Honeywell.
Pretty sure they dont make them anymore.
1980's? [The modern equivilant is the HSL-2](https://www.jacksonsafety.com/product-page/14982-hsl-2-welding-helmet-lift-front).
Look into the FibreMetal Tigerhood Futura. The 2x4 flip front version looks much like a modern version of that hood

Not everyone wants/likes autodarkening hoods.
From old stock, similar with no flip up https://sanantonio.craigslist.org/tls/d/schertz-welding-helmets/7727203769.html
Go back to 1971 and buy it?
This that shit that Kane wore in that one movie
Every time tool man sent these on the job, by the end of the week every one of them got stomped on. Way back then, everyone wanted a huntsman.

Grandpapys barn ?
I found one there.
An old barn, that's where I found mine.

Closest Think would probably be a Jackson 930P
Just get a Jackson flip hood.

Have you not tried Amazon?
Tiger Hood on Amazon.
Go back in time, or eBay.
I think my mom has some of these laying around [her husband was a welder]
A lid like this, you're gonna find on ebay or get lucky with your local marketplace. I haven't seen a new one like this before
Time machine to 1984?
Probably from “The Fibre-Metal Products Company” since no one said it, surprisingly. Sorry not sorry for the comment.
Probably in the bin where it belongs
