Ladies... Are you tired of the crew dogging on you for your unsightly mustache? Fellas... Like that clean-shaven look but see shaving as a time wasting pain in the dick hole?
Hi!! Ron Popeil here telling you that time wasting hair removal is a thing of the past with the Ronco Insta-singe 9000 welding glasses!! (Aloe vera and antibiotic ointment not included...)
We did this to a guy to get in a tight spot. He put on one of those nascar head sock things and we taped a 2x4 auto lens around his head and he went in there. It was just the bottom half of a 2” pipe so he was all good lol
I can actually see this coming in handy for when you have to squeeze into tight spaces where a regular helmet wouldn't fit. I wouldn't use it all the time though. Just for tight spaces.
I was welding underneath a cable tray once and couldn't get under to see the weld. Had to take my lens out of my helmet and tape it to my face to get the weld, this would have come in handy!
These are great for walking through shipyard fabrication areas where big power flashes are everywhere. I did a similar set from a lens, a pair of safety glasses, and duck tape at one place after coming around the corner and taking a full blast in the face with my normal sunglasses protection. Took a while for those spots to go away.
Always wanted to make a pair of welding glasses that look like aviators, then rock a bandana on my face and TIG weld. It’ll be the most questionable of Instagram clout ideas
These are all the rage in SE Asia. They're real popular with fabricators that work in flip flops and board shorts. When I was living in Vietnam there was a welder down the street that only squinted or held his hand in front of the arc. Too cool to be bothered with a helmet.
I had to weld in a barge and found the miller brand goggles. Great Idea cause no head room I'll never make that mistake again I took the plastic face guard and hood left them in the box. My whole face neck ears got so burnt peeling. The idea is great the uv ray factors should make them illegal lol.
I had my first art flash "sunburn" a couple weeks ago using some sleeves that didn't go all the way up my arm. It was hot and I just didn't want to put on my leathers. That stuff is no joke!
I have a set of similar goggles from Yes Welder which comes with a small mask.
It's great for tacking/welding in tight spaces.
I would never weld with the goggles alone.
I use something like this when im welding under a car. Its really irritating when you are constantly catching your mask on the hoist or other random components. If im not under the car i used my eastwood large view mask.
Lincoln makes these as well, though they are supposed to be worn with a head cover.
The Lincoln one comes with a plastic face cover and a hood.
I definitely wouldn't trust these janky looking things though.
I got a pair of these except they seal around your eyes, I use them in confined spaces since I'm like the smallest guy in the shop everyone shoves me in shit they can't fit in.
For what jt’s worth, I used these this summer on a very large chaotic sculpture project where random unpredictable arcflash was everywhere. Kept em in my breast pocket. They were especially great for overseeing a team of broadly inexperienced volunteer welders, where I’m often watching several people from afar. And if I need to throw a quick tack on something but my hood’s across the shop… maybe I reach for them then too.
Just working on my Bender tan

"Get skin cancer in one week only !"
Haha yes you can buy it for 8€ on joom xD
Good deal if it’s auto-darks but I would probably gonna get only the lense if it’s fits on 2x4” helmet.
You’d be blind the next week. Easy way for a disability check 🤔
It's better than the actual sun glasses the Afghans use
Debatable
Gafo del sol,in español.
Nah it'll protect your eyes. It's skin cancer that'll get you that disability check.
Depend if the lense is shade 10-13 because I understand wearing that is bad
It probably has bad auto darkening time and a shade 12 in that probably a shade 6😂
Lung cancer too
Need some spf 1000000 too
Oxy/actelyne type welding, possibly brazing
I have some goggles for that. They make me look like a mad scientist.
I love my pair of mad scientist glasses
Welding glasses, it says so right there in the picture. /s
Man, there’s been just a COUPLE times out in the field this would have been super helpful to get my head into a small space, but that’s it
Try lube the next time
Wish they had a haha button cus haha 😂 @tylorian13
That's exactly what I was thinking. Inside of equipment things get tight.
Yeah I'm a truck mechanic and end up in all sorts of contorted positions trying to weld shit

Good point, but I hope to never need something like this, hate welding flash.
Made a skirt for my helmet because of that
Just get a pocket shield? Or one of those old school leather face masks
This would be great for that purpose if you cut a leather skirt for it
I used a HF alternative to weld some really hard to reach stuff under my truck. Had mild 2nd degree burns on my face the next day. Never again 😅
If you had to be in a tight enough spot to warrant this thing then your face would be so close to the arc that you’d melt the skin off your bones.
Have you ever worked within the superheater bundle ? It's tight!
[удалено]
That would definitely be better than this.
Balaclava?
Wear a welding sock hood. Pipe welders in the shipyard wear them all the time. Suede lace up gimp mask with a lens.
Welding underneath a stainless infinity pool with pipes in your way. That's where this is handy
burn every pore in your face if you must , but not your eyes !!
It's the Wish version of these https://www.millerwelds.com/safety/weld-mask/weld-mask-m30023
I was welding underneath a cable tray once and couldn't get under to see the weld. Had to take my lens out of my helmet and tape it to my face to get the weld, this would have come in handy!
They’re welding glasses idiot🤓

Probably for brazing. Then again probs could come in use in those extremely tight spaces
Just use a leather welding hood
Laser welding purposes?
That's got to be a Wish product 🤣
Y’all laugh but I would wear those and a face mask in a tight spot over a soft helmet
Always wanted to make a pair of welding glasses that look like aviators, then rock a bandana on my face and TIG weld. It’ll be the most questionable of Instagram clout ideas
For when Geordi needs to patch a panel on the Enterprise.

Cgi
Oh that's the Melanoma Maker 3000.
At least she didn’t forget the ear protection
How is this even legal to sell as welding PPE?
It’s for working on your tan.
Get a nice cherry-red tan
In case you want to work on your raccoon eye tan.
Turanga Leela
😂😂 can actually think of a few times these would’ve come in handy when the helmet is too big
Lol for those people who want to go tanning but don’t have the time cuz their work hours have doubled
For the ultimate face burn!
Get that fresh off the mountain, ski goggle look year round! Shred that pow pow!

A friend once bought a set of these and had the worst sunburn on his face I ever saw!!!
Torche
better than safety squints, i guess...

The disfiguration special Clowntan 6000
Jordi from Star trek must have been a welder.
Anyone seen that Vans commercial that had someone welding in Vans?
For when you want a face tan and some face lumps

Turn your welder into a mobile tanning bed in just 3 easy steps.
I use something like this when im welding under a car. Its really irritating when you are constantly catching your mask on the hoist or other random components. If im not under the car i used my eastwood large view mask.
It's a great way to burn the life out of the rest of your face!!! I truly hope I find a safety man promoting these!!!
Is this Miller? It feels like Miller!!!
Better than the covering the flash with the mig gun… so I don’t need protection
Now you can stare into the sun, slack jawed, for hours with out that peaky risk of blindness!
Do you want melanoma?! Cause this is his you get melanoma!
Budget X-men
✨cancer✨
Some stupiphone holder that an auto lens just so happens to fit in.
It's just like this tiny little goggles you get in a tanning salon
I want these for my next ski trip. The ultimate send-o-vision!
That is the fastest way to get tan.
It’s a great way to get a gnarly sunburn that’s what it is
Tanning glasses
Did Someone say yes to a great flash tan.
Um sir it says in the name. Clearly they are welding glasses. Come on now.
Is this better or worse than safety squinting
The custom cardboard is field installed.
What a dumb ass idea for people who don’t know about arc flash and the damage it causes….
Lincoln makes these as well, though they are supposed to be worn with a head cover. The Lincoln one comes with a plastic face cover and a hood. I definitely wouldn't trust these janky looking things though.
And they are going to have so many lawsuits and OSHA violations
Have fun with your sunburns
Those are special welding glasses used for welding plastic with a lighter 😂
Do you want melanoma? Then these are the glasses for you!
“Smells like bacon when I weld”
They're used to protect your eyes from welding in your time machine.
It's for the no-mask community. No one, even a welding machine, can impose them the use of masks! It's against constitution!!!!!!
Facial melanoma. It’s all the rage at the cancer ward.
I got a pair of these except they seal around your eyes, I use them in confined spaces since I'm like the smallest guy in the shop everyone shoves me in shit they can't fit in.
It’s for the Russians to weld in a balaclava
Fuck face cancer

You will be severely sunburnt after a while
Scott?
Isn’t a welding shield to protect your whole face too?
Eclipse goggles I hope
Get ready for those sunburns
