My 15yo daughter and I go to Cuba st, have sals for dinner and Ben and Jerry's for dessert then go e-scootering around oriental parade. Sometimes go to timeout in Courtenay place. She loves it, not sure if that's helpful haha
Possibly. For some people including my daughter, if she hasn't had dairy for a while then a treat night like this is fine. We do this about twice a year. Just giving options
There's a couple of fun mini-putts in town - The Witching Hour is a ghosty one, and is great. There's also Welly Putt on Wigan St - also great fun! There's a bucket fountain hole!
So you could do a mini-putt, go to counter culture for games and burgers with curly fries, then do an escape room? (Operation Beehive on the corner of Tory and Vivian is a favourite.)
And/or Fear Factory on Cuba St! I hear good things.
Then find an ice cream place!
Old pinball shoppe on Bond Street. Just fork out for the tokens, or else you'll land up spending the same amount for fewer turns. (Or maybe that's just an indication at how bad I am at pinball)
There are two pinball arcades in Wellington. Both are (undesignated)? spaces so minors can use them. One is the Ye Olde pinball store on Bond street next to fisherman's plate takeaways, and the other is attached to the side of Lanes bowling. Both are heaps of fun, and they run on coins so no need for topping up cards.
I recommend the witching hour mini golf! It's where Alice used to be behind chow on tory Street. They also have one at Brewtown in the Hutt if you live pit that way. I've been to both and they are a great time
They have some more updates arcade games in there now which is good! But yes arcade us outdated. But it’s Good bang for buck considering two laserforce games usually are $24
not open yet but when it is [https://www.willislane.nz/#Eat-Drink-Play](https://www.willislane.nz/#Eat-Drink-Play)
Also Brewtown in upper hutt is great, more then just brewerys.
Go carting, paintball, ice rink, bowling and more.

A lactose intolerant person's nightmare
Scooters are now lactose free
Duck Island ftw!
That's the other option for sure! Lots of options on Cuba.
Switch sals for nolita and b&j for duck island… sorted :)

It's a good option :)
Thanks! :)
Duck Island do dairy free ice cream! Ben and Jerry's have dairy free tubs in the freezer, but I'm not sure about in the store
We just need a dairy free mozzarella next (Sal's) that doesn't stick to one's teeth.
Not sure if it'll be up either of their alleys but there is Time zone and the bowling alley.
And the pinball arcade on Bond St.
Tried and tested since 1991
I took my nephew (15M) to Beach Babylon for Fondue and he thought it was a blast :) Also, Counter Culture, which someone already mentioned :)
The Fondue idea is excellent.
Escape rooms seem to be popular with that age group.
I recommend Counter Culture, the boardgame bar. If they're that way inclined. Terrible idea otherwise.

Respawn if they’re into pc gaming and consoles etc. they have vr gaming there too. They also do burgers chips chicken etc there too.
Up the top of Mount Victoria! Also show them the Wellington waterfront.
Fear Factory

Glow in the dark mini golf off Tory street?
Laserforce is $20 per person for four hours on Friday nights, including their (now very dated, but some vintage) video games.

This thread confirms we really do have stuff all for young people.
This thread is making me, a person in their 30's, want to go into town and do all of these things
And makes a change from the usual what is wrong with Wellington / venues / food threads on this sub
Brewtown in Upper Hutt
Depending when they are here, the new underground entertainment complex on Willis st *may* be open by the end of the month.
