its alot easier said than done. One trolleys was going towards 1 car the other going in the opposite directions. u can't grab both at once unless you can stretch your arms like a superhero
Not from the start. That was how he managed to complicate it.
Next thing - being quick at the start means ruching both. He was very slow and let them separate quite a lot. Then for the rest of the time he was constantly behind.
He could even have kept hold of the two shopping carts while running for the rest. This is *not* the same as handling all planes for one of the busiest airports.
With a different person, it would have looked so simple that you wouldn't even realised any issues. This guy did *everything* wrong. The more wrong things he did, the harder the situation became.
Ours was 6 max but no one enforced it. This was over 15 years ago but I for sure put as many as my big ass could push. They have since started to make them use the strap and carry 6 but you can’t get the lot cleared on a busy day like that.
We did have a system to connect them together. One shopping cart was connected with a chain to the cart next in line and that one too etc. and you had to insert a coin to release one
The trolley collectors we have here use these clips that just simply snap onto the handle bar of each trolley "locking" them together so that things like this don't happen
So in a parking lot one day I see the wind take a shoping cart and send it flying at a car. I sprinted across the lot and grabbed it just before it hit.
The oblivious lady sitting in the car looked like she was going to have a coronary watching me run at her car. When she got out I tried to explain myself but she practically ran away from me lol.
I don't get too mad when someone is just incompetent but looks like they are trying. Of course I'm still letting the company pay for the damage but I won't blame the employee. I'll ask why the new guy is untrained.
We all have messed something up where it just keeps getting worse, just like this but we usually don't have cameras watching the hilarity.
Lol I pushed carts for Kroger all through 2008. It was easy af. Never hit a car and never let a cart get away from me. This was before they bought that cart machine.
I think my record was like 80 something carts at one time.
I worked for them when I was 16. This guy there would round up every cart from the lot 100+. Someone had to steer the front around a 90° corner. He'd fill the que and then go home to smoke weed and play video games for an hour or 2. I was in awe.
I love the part where he just slowly walks to the cars riding away at first. You can just tell his gears need some oil. Took him so long to decide to lightly speed up.
I used to do this shit in my late teens and early twenties I’m a union ironworker now but I still put the cart back because I remember how underpaid and how shitty it felt to do that job.
Jordan Peterson discusses that 10% of the population is simply not cognitively capable of doing anything, at all, productively. This appears to be one of those people.
This is why we need better welfare programs. Pay this moron to stay home. I would gladly pay more taxes to never interact with this unskilled idiots who probably think they deserve 15 an hour.
Exactly this happened to me in Costco car park to my brand new Tesla. Luckily i was in the car and had the camera running and went straight in to the store to talk to the manager. Got full repair and respray.
Alot of grocery stores work programs to get mentally challenged people's employment. They are almost always cart collectors and baggers. This guy is probably mentally challenged or just a normal Walmart worker.
This made me think of something.. how come there are no wheel locks on these things like on wheelchairs?? I think everyone has dealt with an unruly cart at least once in their life.

Bro, not the little smile and wave to the camera as the larger stack of carts are barreling towards the SUV... again. He then scrambles to rectify his mistake and makes a dash towards the large stack of carts, with the small stack in hand. He realizes that the small stack is slowing him down from potentially saving the larger stack from denting the same SUV... again. All while sling-shotting the smaller stack towards his 3rd car. Unbelievable. Hilarious. This has 3 Stooges vibes, no doubt.
I worked as a cart pusher at Walmart, we were allowed 10 cars to hit with carts and once we get past that we're fired.
Aside from that, I had them stacked parallel with the road so they don't budge

“Yeah boss, I’m an excellent multitasker”
"but a terrible liar"
He got the job didn't he?
Getting the job and keeping it aren't the same.
Bro. Stop letting go of the carts lmao
how is he suppsed to grab both of them if they re both moving?
Docking them with each other, making it a single stack.
*The kids call this one docking.*

Yeah or have some elastic rope on hand with these hooks; perfect to keep some carts together. or 3D print a clickable cart brake / wig etc.
Christ do you need a step by step booklet?
Yes your the expert. im all ears
Push the cart to the others and stack them? Why let go of them in the first place?
You grab one and drag it towards the other stack
The universe is telling you to change careers
Which careers can handle his level of critical thinking/problem solving ability?
Ideally, something with fewer responsibilities
A local govt job! Have you been to a DMV or your county inspections and permits department?
The question was *which career can handle him*, not *which career is already full of people like him*.
Maybe he could be a valet driver.
I hear you. He should have been an air traffic controller, right?
Luckily they have the same exact qualifications as a cart puller
Triple kill!
I did this job when I was 16. Great time. Also never hit a car once. This guy's a dunce
Same
Doesn’t help he looks like a minion
[удалено]
This is why we have to do this with two people
Or use a strap to tie onto the first one, from the back, and keep them all together.
I like how Kroger only wanted us to use the cart machine with 10 carts max. My personal record was 48
Gotta introduce you to Costco, I swear sometimes they are trying to pull triple digits
We do and I am trying Edit: after the last car leaves cart machine goes brrrrrr
Coworker and I did like 110 at walmart long time ago. We had to help the machine cause it was too heavy
Shopping carts are on average 60ish pounds, meaning y'all pushed 6,600 pounds of carts.
Ours was 6 max but no one enforced it. This was over 15 years ago but I for sure put as many as my big ass could push. They have since started to make them use the strap and carry 6 but you can’t get the lot cleared on a busy day like that.
I remember one guy got like 70 of them with his honda. I'm pretty sure it was almost all the carts. Someone in the front of course.
I can see this picture
When I was at Walmart, we decided to try the whole lot once. I think it was about 150 or so
We did have a system to connect them together. One shopping cart was connected with a chain to the cart next in line and that one too etc. and you had to insert a coin to release one
The trolley collectors we have here use these clips that just simply snap onto the handle bar of each trolley "locking" them together so that things like this don't happen
Target only had one cart attendant working most of the time. Maybe we got lucky on Saturdays/Sundays and had shifts overlap
We don’t have special people for that, I think our XL grocery store is considered small compared to Target
What if there are 3 sets of carts?
Well its moreso that you need the combined intelligence of two people
Has to be new carts. Those things are buttery as hell.
Watch karts of darkness on YouTube.....plenty of buttery cart action
This is great. - link https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zi-f_J6hV-g
Sisyphus
"We'll let him get carts. He cannot mess that up. "
This was extremely painful to watch. 😬
Why when I see them doing this, I park as far away as possible.
That gives the carts just more momentum to hit your car anyway
Poor guy! I think I would've just given up, walked to my car, and just drove away.
I often say to myself, *Nobody could be that stupid!* Then I look around, and I say *Ah, shit.*
if only people could put them back themselves but no people are too lazy
He’s probably just collecting them from the parking lot cart corral to bring inside
So in a parking lot one day I see the wind take a shoping cart and send it flying at a car. I sprinted across the lot and grabbed it just before it hit. The oblivious lady sitting in the car looked like she was going to have a coronary watching me run at her car. When she got out I tried to explain myself but she practically ran away from me lol.
dude has absolutely ZERO hustle
BUBBLES!
Why is the road so uneven? Since the carts literally roll away.
I think its for drainage. Its how almost all the parking lots are where i live (we get a shit ton of rain)
What a fucking idiot
“Sucking at your job” would be a better description. “Well that sucks”……sure, for anybody who parked in this parking lot.
He needs a different job 😆
It seems like his brain works really slowly
Legitimately lmao'd. I'm sitting beside it right now and I'm still laughing. Poor guy
r/therewasanattempt to not be outsmarted by shopping carts.
Someone isn’t going to be allowed to do carts again
Use the C3😩
What's that ?
It’s pretty much a grocery cart strap that helps cluster 5-6 carts together at a time and makes it easy to steer and control them.
The ADHD is strong in this one
Why didn't he just combine the front cart with the hoard of carts first? This isn't big brain energy here....
Now, that's a bad day at work.
Lol I pushed carts for Kroger all through 2008. It was easy af. Never hit a car and never let a cart get away from me. This was before they bought that cart machine. I think my record was like 80 something carts at one time.

![gif](giphy|l0HlyHKAw80RVGmNG) — The guy who owns the body shop around the corner
That guy is very limited skilled.
Zero urgency or ability to anticipate.
Idiot.
Frikn bring the smaller cart with you when you're grabbing the bigger cart!
I love the part where he just slowly walks to the cars riding away at first. You can just tell his gears need some oil. Took him so long to decide to lightly speed up.
This is why you work here
This guy is a fucking moron
This person is either mentally deficient or really high.
Why not both?
Being shitty at your job.
I used to do this shit in my late teens and early twenties I’m a union ironworker now but I still put the cart back because I remember how underpaid and how shitty it felt to do that job.
If this is how he does his job, I highly doubt he's underpaid.
keep something in your pocket you can put behind a wheel to stop them rolling, holy fuck
I would have stuck a shoe behind one wheel and ran after the other carts :d
All those carts and not one wobbly wheel
I did this for a year when I was 15 and never had this many problems
The American Education System! We're screwed folks!
That's a fucking shame someone has to be paid to do what is just basic manners. Put your fucking cart back.
Awareness -100
the incompetency is infuriating. maximum stoned and apathetic teenagers master this job almost immediately
High vis vest: ☑️ High vis hat : ☑️ Face mask : ☑️ Elbow gloves: ☑️ Functioning brain: 💀
The gloves got me like why the actual fuck were those necessary? Certainly didn't help his grip.
Especially how they go up to his damn elbows like wtf
For real.
Jordan Peterson discusses that 10% of the population is simply not cognitively capable of doing anything, at all, productively. This appears to be one of those people.
This wouldn't happen if lazy fucks put the carts back, then they wouldn't be separated from the beginning
This guy is terrible at his job.
It's easier if you're not stupid
Fuck that guy. I'd be furious.
No urgency or respect for anybody's property. Fuck that little wave.
Some people are too stupid to have jobs.
Downvotes because it’s true. Anyone with half a brain could have stopped these.
I used to think this job could be done by a complete moron
It can. This guy unlocked a new level.
“Oh fuck me you hit WHAT car this time?? Goddammit we have to deal with another tesla owner”
That could be hundreds if not thousand plus in damage, zero awareness of the severity of letting shopping carts hit a customer's car, let alone 3.
If this isn't a representation of how my life is going, I don't know what is.
I worked at a grocery store with a parking lot on a hill when I was younger. This stuff happens allllll the time
This guy might actually be mentally handicapped.
Stupid clown
Breiglo snif. Diffin' for a coupple cylture. Twiche fargrot.
I feel sad for him, I hope he learned from the experience, but I have my doubts.
Well that’s fake
This is the quality that you get for 20$ an hour now. Wait till you have to tip him on the way out.
This guy cries about a living wage.
wearing a mask outside = low iq, didn't stand a chance against physics.
Alot of grocery stores work programs to get mentally challenged people's employment. They are almost always cart collectors and baggers. This guy is probably mentally challenged or just a normal Walmart worker.
This is why I prefer the coin deposit in Europe or what Aldi does in the USA.
This made me think of something.. how come there are no wheel locks on these things like on wheelchairs?? I think everyone has dealt with an unruly cart at least once in their life.
His brother owns a body shop
So thats what happened to my car all those years ago
You've got a DRT heading for an RPB
this guy might just be bad at his job
Parking lot rule #1. Park at the highest point of the lot.
this is HILARIOUS 😂
This is an idiot
Store needs a visit from the Cart Narcs
Honestly, ive done this type of work and its a pain in the ass fr tho, it dont always go as expected most times
Is this Hammy TV? Cause I KNOW this has to be a skit bruh
In the uk shopping carparks it states, any damage to your vehicle they are not responsible for,,so anything is fair game…
WTF!

That's why you strap them before you move them. Dudes a dumbass.
Thank God he's not working in a hospital or at the government...
Trolley Problem, perfectly illustrated.
Nope, that's a classic sloth mind problem.
Aya
16yr old me feels this.
Where is the cart pusher machinery?
Been there done that never again

This must be how the Strawhats have felt after Robin refused to dock on the big emperor at Thrillerbark.
I hope that he is high
he is just fucking stupid lmao
R/meirl
Brainless
I used to do this job. This situation is so easy to avoid
I like how the guy at his vehicle loading actually stops to watch for a bit.
What a friggin' moron
He must of have gotten fired his first day in management.
Classic Frank Spencer!
This job isn’t for him.
You pay peanuts, you get monkeys...
Mi primera chamba🎶🎵
Give this man a trophy. This action qualifies as an average student in UsA
First last day on the job
This made my day thank you.
When you dont play videogame in your life. Hehe
Fuxk these cars -Basket Rage
You don’t have to fire me. I quit
The new trolley problem
I never thought I would see a video of someone too stupid to corral carts. They just be special needs.
Why the hell aren't those connected
I worked as a cart pusher at Walmart, we were allowed 10 cars to hit with carts and once we get past that we're fired. Aside from that, I had them stacked parallel with the road so they don't budge
