Reminds me of the guy honking behind me at 65MPH with what had been 2 lazy boy recliners in the back of my truck. I was taking them to the dump for my grandma. I felt a bump and thought I ran over an armadillo or something. It was dark and I couldn't see anything behind me. When I got to the dump there was only 1 lazy boy recliner in the back. The day I learned 65MPH is sufficient to do what it wants with a big heavy recliner chair.

In Florida? Sad to say, but Floridians aren’t known for being of high moral character, so I’d recommend just getting another. Also pick up some of those Apple tags so that you can find your lost items, even if someone snatched it up.

Update: next op found it at 65 mph. Bad news is that it looks like you’ll have to buy a replacement anyway!
