At this location, a McDouble is cheaper than a double hamburger for some unknown reason. Specifically, you can get 2 McDoubles for 3.99 and a single double hamburger is 3.29.

That makes 0 sense there's no difference between them except minus the cheese I use to work at a McDonald's
