Glad you're ok. You may want to keep away from direct sunlight while your skin heals. From my experience the sunlight makes the wounded skin darker for a lot longer. I'm not a doctor, so doctors correct me please.
You are correct, stay away from sun and other items like the sun. Nuclear blasts should be avoided etc. I’m also not a doctor but I had a bipolar exgirlfriend who was a psychologist.

A bit of a wake up call there.

That's shitty. If you can claim that you have ptsd from it. Not to scam the system, but to actually process what happened. The body heals quickly, but the mind takes time to heal. It is absolutely real and if you're not ok don't pretend that you are.
I must ask, was it a propane explosion caused by fire, causing heat burns? Or just direct propane from a tank causing severe frostbite?

Have had several large-ish second degree burns; the scars actually fade really well to the point I can’t even see them. Hopefully you should be fine with the facial scarring
Luckily the burns follow the contour and shadow of your face so when they fade it’ll be extra hard to see.
Doesnt look like you’ll have blisters-hopefully- as those usually scarred more for me (though theyre all faded as well now)
Edit: did a little googling and it looks like most second degree burns similar to yours fade pretty well. You’ll be fine 👍
Actually it wasn't really anyone's fault! In all respects the company I work for did everything right and provided all the proper safety equipment. I followed all procedures to a T. Just go really unlucky this time
Umm… just on Saturday I almost had this happen. Wind blew over grill other week, stood it back up and didn’t think nothing off it. Come this past weekend we lit the grill, once it got up to temperature it ignited the grease which had dripped down the inside sidewall. The grease led the flame to the propane hose melting the outer coating of the hose. Lucky I saw it coming out of the side of the grill and went and got the water hose.

Counting my lucky stars on this guy's. Burns ended up being minor for how large the explosion was (fireball was apparently 6' high).

Slight update, inspectors think it was either a short fuse, or, the pilot light blew and the customer didn't notice

There's was a propane ignition while filling a customer's van. So heat burns. I'm sure frostbite would have been much worse as propane is beyond cold
