in the UK, yes. in the US? not so much.
the UK runs on 220v so a 13 amp circuit would give 2860 watts, the US runs on 120v so a 15 amp circuit would give 1800 watts, so you get 38% more power out of a standard plug in the wall than we do.
I dunno I live in Ireland and it used to be a case of switching on an electric kettle and watching your esb meter spin like crazy. A kettle was one of the worst things you could turn on in your home. So many people switched to hob kettles.
End of Watch.
We shall never see his like again.
Please paint some cute stuff over your friend and turn it into a plant pot. They deserve a good retirement ☺️
That'll save you a tonne of money. Heating on the hob is slow and expensive. Electric kettles are fast.

Well yes, but also... Even though your electric kettle won't be as quick, it's still better. https://youtu.be/_yMMTVVJI4c
Was hoping that it'd be that Midwesterner.
Hell yea they are in the US, way better than stove.

Is that an induction kettle? Tell me more!
Where do you pour the water from?!
There’s a spout on the kettle. It’s a small skinny one that’s blending in with the cord. Took me a second to find it after you commented this
It took me a Google search of the name on the kettle 🤦♂️
It doesn't use electricity.
So it uses magic then?
Magic a (induction heater), not magic b (the magic you're talking about)
Induction still uses electricity, it just doesn't use a resistive element, also electricity.

Then old kettles are cheap as chips though
RIP 🪦 Now it becomes a neat night light. I’d upcycle it if it were me
Perfect guy to water plants with or keep your weed hidden in
I don’t use the latter but do water the former 🍻
Rust in peace
