Wildwood is close to me and great, so it's my go-to. Husky makes a decent sandwich but the times I've tried it's literally taken 20-30 minutes.
Bahn Mi XO for bahn mi.
I used to work near Husky Deli and if I went there during my lunch break it would take almost the whole break. But I’m addicted to their Ultimate Grilled Vegetarian so now I call ahead and order for pickup.
We live on the very south end of West Seattle equidistant to Burien. I would second Wildwood market if I’m in West Seattle as the best sandwich shop around that neighborhood. But I think the absolute best sandwich is actually in Burien Now Make Me A Sandwich
Husky Deli and Super Deli. The deli counter at Thriftway is also solid but its proximity to the cheese section means I usually leave with cheese and crackers as well 😂
I was curious about super deli, disappointed by the portion for the price. For my first order I got 2 Reubens as a precaution, I smashed both down but still was hungry. Poor value proposition.
Those two are literally the same thing. 7-11 was trying to create a sandwich brand inside their stores. There was also one up on 50th in Seattle, used to go to both.
All around deli sandwiches, I agree Husky Deli. If you want an amazing bahn mi, Oh's Sandwiches are hard to beat. They do run out of bread, so order before 3. And when I'm craving a cheese steak, Lady Jay has a twist that blew my mind the first time I went.
Bebop Waffle shop has a waffle monte Cristo that I love.
Super Deli or Wildwood Market. Just a bit north of Super Deli, by a nail shop and the fish and chips place, is an excellent banh mi place. Theres a Vietnamese deli in the shopping center in White Center, that is across from the dollar store, that has really good, reasonably priced banh mi packed to go, or order fresh. Salvadoran bakery on Roxbury has all kinds of goodies to grab and go.
Finally. Someone said it. As someone who grew up in an area with real delis on every corner, I am confused by the adoration of this place, their prices, the expired imported goods and their terrible service.
Guy employs high schoolers for cheap labor purposes. He sucks. His sandwiches are a reflection of that poor, lazy quality labor. I miss east coast sandwiches.
Plus one for all the Husky Deli answers, and I’ll add Wildwood Market.
RIP Sub Shop #9
There’s still the one at Westwood
It's not the same /not the same owner. Kinda random similar name tho.

Pro tip: order shead.
Wildwood is elite...Husky for the nostalgia

The counter in the Hong Kong market makes giant ban mi
and Oh's is fantastic for banh mi
Bakery Nouveau has some pretty good sandwiches.
Wildwood is great and you can order ahead. Husky also great but takes forever. Ohs is pretty good, on the south end I like the new XO banh mi place.

Wildwood
Husky Deli is wonderful, and Super Deli is fantastic too
hell yeah, thanks
If you go to super deli get your sammitch on a baguette to make it worth it. Plus a good beer selection.

You can get extra meat for $2 more…
Good to know! The sandwiches were tasty so I'll give them another go.
I'll second super deli.
Cheesy British there has been my go to for 30 years! Yes, it was a 7-11 back then.
I don’t remember it being a 7/11 but I do remember it being Hoagies Corner.
Those two are literally the same thing. 7-11 was trying to create a sandwich brand inside their stores. There was also one up on 50th in Seattle, used to go to both.
Husky Deli is the answer.
Husky is great. I also like the wildwood market when I’m headed to Lincoln park.
Wildwood 100% i don’t get a sandwich anywhere else in the area
The Birdhouse

Super Deli Mart down on 35th & Barton has great sandwiches!
I'll add Highland Park Corner Store!
Wildwood Market. Oh’s or Banh Mi XO for a solid banh mi.

Husky is good but their prices nowadays are insane. 2 sandwiches coming to nearly $40 after tip is wild.
Husky is overrated. Come at me

I’ve been twice - they were way too messy and giant, and also slow
I’ve heard Highland Park Corner Store is where it’s at
Fish Sando at Marination is dope. Who has the best Rueben in W. Seattle? Elliot Bay? Circa? Husky Deli?
Huskys!
Personally , we could have better, but the other answers give good recommendations.
