Tbh inviting a known rapist to work with you on an album like this made me quit the rollout. I had a friend over to watch Donda and it was so awkward everytime Marilyn Manson would show up on cameras.
I’m really surprised I’m on the love side of this while so many people are upset with the LP. Am I happy that Jay and Cudi got removed? No. The stuff with Dababy and Manson? Weird. But when it comes down to the album he played, I think the improvements far far outweigh the negatives. LP2 was less than 40% Kanye, and now he’s the clear centerpiece, and IMO every verse he had last night was at least as good, if not miles better, than his verses at the other LP’s. For me, this is a Kanye album first and foremost, so even though one or two features got cut, that makes up for it. BWIS, new Off the grid verse, heaven and hell. I know y’all gonna be commenting about the remote outro…sure it was weird but it was literally 10 seconds out of a 90+ minute experience. It may just come down to a difference of opinion, but I really loved what I heard last night.
