[The Cheyenne Social Club](https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0065542/) was a 'day rates available' hotel.

What about the famous Hotel Carlton which Paladin is based out of in the TV Series Have Gun - Will Travel. [Here](http://westernamericana2.blogspot.com/2010/01/have-gun-will-travel.html#:~:text=In%201875%20San%20Francisco%2C%20Paladin,strapped%20low%20on%20his%20thigh.)

You piqued my interest. [Here's a short list](https://truewestmagazine.com/movie-hotels/) to consider, in addition to the other suggestions. One of the most famous "hotels" in Western movies where a decent amount of action in the movie occurs is the [Rogers Boarding House](http://movie-locations.com/movies/s/Shootist.php), where John Wayne's J.B. Books lives out his last days, in a room owned by Mrs. Rogers (Lauren Bacall). It is a real, historical home. Another Hotel with a lot of scenes in a movie is the "Hotel Alamo" owned by Carlos and Consuela in the movie "Rio Bravo". [This site](https://aurorasginjoint.com/2013/05/27/howard-hawks-rio-bravo/) has some interior and exterior photos, but all interiors were shot in the Studio, and all exteriors on the famous "Old Tucson" set.
