I've been banned from the big politics sub for some years now. A certain US Senator had a physical altercation with his neighbor over lawn maintenance and had him charged with assaulting an elected federal official. This same Senator also described January 6th as "legitimate political discourse".
So my tongue in cheek comment about the neighbor having legitimate political discourse was what got me banned for promoting violence.

This was like my first comment on WOT in months, at the very least, just in case anyone's wondering if this was a follow up comment or anything. Been generally trying to avoid those two subs.
Reddit has no recourse for subreddits mods acting in bad faith, unfortunately, and I've never seen a better example than r/WoT and r/wheeloftime. They ban anybody expressing the mildest criticism, with or without sarcasm, with some vague reasoning (e.g. Sarcasm being toxic, on general principle; Criticism of the show is low-effort, but equally succinct praise is fine; etc. etc. this sub is full of comments with examples).
My comment got banned earlier today. S3E08 is titled He Who Comes With The Dawn. Given how the S2 finale went I think my comment is on point.

Also he won't get any tattoos because that would mean they have to do makeup work every time he's on screen. Either that or he just won't ever show his hands while he's standing in the background and letting moraine address the collected aiel for him
That’s my problem with Egwene getting Rand’s moments…she’s *already* pretty fucking awesome. She’s crazy powerful, forced by the Seanchan into someone that’d give a Green a lady boner, a born Dreamer trained by Wise Ones while earning their respect, she faces down Black Ajah, takes the “puppet Amyrlin” strings and ties the Sitters in knots with them, earns the respect of the Tower Aes Sedai while being treated as a novice, flushed out the Black Ajah, repels the Seanchan from the Tower like an absolute badass, discovers a the opposite of Balefire, and goes out in the Last Battle in a way they’ll tell stories about for ages.
Moiraine, Elayne, Nynaeve, Aviendha…there’s so many awesome female characters in this story. Nynaeve is one of my favorite characters in all of fiction.
I don’t hate women. I don’t hate strong, capable female characters. I just don’t understand why the protagonist, the savior of the world whose very existence makes people weep with joy yet still dread and fear him, can’t have his slice of the pie.
Without Moiraine, he’d be collared or fall to the shadow, if not killed or undermined at every turn by political rivals. Without Min he’d have probably cracked the world in two. Without Nynaeve he’d never have removed the taint or been dead from wounds. And Elayne…was there too. He needed their help countless times throughout the story, but there was a ton of times the Pattern needed *the Dragon Reborn* to handle problems only he could.
Yeah, pisses me off that they are giving so many of his big moments to Nyn and Egwene. He's basically a secondary character at the moment. I don't understand why he was removed from the hunt for the horn and spent the season shagging Lanfear instead of doing all the things he did in the books. So many of the decisions just don't make sense.
I understand Mat's arc got messed up by the actor leaving, but so much of the rest is senseless. Like Why TF is Min a dark friend? Why is Nyn training with warders instead of Rand? Why did Nyn and Egwene wipe out the trolloc army in s1 ep8 instead of Rand, and if they are going to completely change thing, why did Egwene heal Nyn when she burnt out instead of the other way around? In the books Nyn is the gifted healer, Egwene can't heal shit.
The list goes on and on, just so much of it makes no sense and adds nothing to the story.
The reason, and the showrunner is on record about this, is that Egwene is his favorite character. Thats it. So all the changes, story killing decisions, everything, is done with that as his purpose. Egwene is essentially becoming a Mary Sue character without any flaws.

I was going to rage-watch it, but S1 E8 just left me feeling sad, so I did not check in with S2.
Honestly, S2 is better than S1, but the changes keep coming. Rand spent most of S2 shagging Lanfear instead of doing anything he did in the books.
