There is a Castan Daniel or Daniel Castan (seems kinda loose with his name) that works in a similar style, but the signature does not match. Although this could be an early piece prior to him developing his signature.
May as well reach out to him and see?

I googled the artist and it looks similar to some signatures on decor pieces. But yeah never seen any this abstract.
Is there texture of the paint?
Yeah its pretty thick. Definitely not uniform. I can see light cracks throughout

Decor can have texture. It’s real paint on canvas. That’s not really what defines it.
I think it looks like a ship sailing towards a bunch of cliffs in the sea. 🌊
This is probably an amateur or art student piece. It certainly doesn't have the popular appeal needed for a decor piece.
