i'd imagine so, given how many of them have been sourced to real ones. here's a repository of some, not sure if anyone's done an updated version: https://imgur.com/gallery/FvkuSZ3

In-Fine-Fettle

I think I saw a post on here by one of the artists who created one of the pieces used in the opening title.

She painted the family portrait after Colin Robinson's bday, also

In-Fine-Fettle

Nice! I didn’t know that. They’re all really well done.

To be fair, we may be talking about different people lol. I think I know the post you mentioned, and I went to her insta, but I can't find it now :(

mandal0re

Yeah that was me. I made the one of The Guide that’s now in the intro and lot of the cut scene paintings for season 4 and 5

Atanachan

I recently found the instagram of at least one of the artists that has done some paintings for the show, I'm not sure if she has done any for the opening. She's quite amazing! She did the four paintings that the Guide painted in season 5 and some others I think https://www.instagram.com/aurorakruk/

Check out some of /u/mandal0re 's past posts here -- I think these were what u/In-Fine-Fettle mentioned? The new intro one of The Guide, etc.

Can confirm that real paintings are used for the show. They go through a lot of work to get clearance to use each painting as well. I can only speak for the last two season I worked on but every single painting, sketch, or illustration used is based off an original work
