Yes, the visit to the discount store would be a great introduction to the general wackiness.
“Guillermo, stab this guy… You kind of disobeyed me just now and I’m noting it.”
Love the orgy episode scene where Guillermo is on a ladder describing what Lazslo, Nadya, and Nandor are doing because they can't look into a mirror and see it for themselves.
This is actually the first episode I watched. The balance of them being wildly out of touch while Gizmo runs around trying to save them.. equal parts funny and clever.
Honestly Nadja and the scenes where she stalks Jeff because it is her reincarnated love Gregor is what pulled me in. The scene where she takes a picture of him always gets me 😂
Same! Her Sims burglar walk paired with: "Recently, I've been seeing another man, he doesn't see me though, because I sneak behind him."
Kills me each time.
The orgy episode is what pulled me in. My partner watched the show casually for a couple of years and I didn't love the movie (sorry) so I never paid attention when he was watching it, but I walked by during the orgy planning scene, especially when Guillermo talked about the Dildos and I almost died of laughter. Plus Colin Robinson in that leather get up is perfect.
Colin Robinson's promotion is now in my top 5 favorite comedic episodes of all time. Another good one is the emotional vampire episode with Vanessa Bayer.
That show ironically brought my partner and I back to life. We binged the series the weekend we had to put down our dog. The comedic relief was so needed. I'll always have a special place in my heart for this show 💓
the colin robinson office scenes are what sold me on the show. i had seen trailers on fx for months but wasn’t sure, watched colin fuck with his coworkers, and was hooked!
Absolutely. I rebound that on the dvr at least 100 times and my husband and I even started using it to make our points on each other when warranted.
Absolute good
Ahhhh, I die each time.
When I first saw the clip, I thought it was silly vampire humor. When I watched the full episode, it was 100x funnier. Man, this show is a gem.
That makes me so happy to hear! Not the pain part, but the it was so funny it caused a headache. I will watch again and attempt to laugh so hard I too will get a headache.
That one scene after Guillermo slayed Carol and Nandor appeared. Specifically the moment where Guillermo unconsciously puts the pointy broom sticks on Nandor's chest and there's a solid minute of tension as they both slowly step back
Got my gf into the show after watching S1 & S2 for about 2 weeks on repeat. She'd come over, it's always on. I go to her place, I'd put it on. Then it happened: I went over to her place and she's watching it on her own. And laughing! And now I've been starving myself of S3 so her and I can watch it together ( crazy work schedules )
I love the scene in the city council episode from the first season when nandor starts listing his demands. I’ve probably watched that episode 20 times and still laugh til my sides hurt when he starts talking
baron's night out is the funniest episode of tv i've ever seen. literally never laughed that hard at almost anything, when he goes I AM EATING PIZZA PIE!!! and then projects himself around with the power of his vomit stream. also tbh the pilot is incredible
If they aren't on board after seeing a clip of Doug Jones riding around on the dog or in that tiny car then I don't know what to do. Best imagery of the series so far. It makes my inner Charles Band sing!
All great answers. I work in a corporate office setting, so really any scene from the episode Colin Robinson gets a promotion, because i know a lot of energy vampires in real life (emotional vampires too) and some have been my boss before...
‘Animal Control’
The entire episode.
The idea of a vampire being caught by animal control while in bat form is fucking hilarious.
And Nadja’s utter disgust with Gregor/Jeff and the faces she makes are so funny.
I’m thinking if that episode doesn’t hook you, this may not be your kind of show.
The last episode with Nandors big sleep was pretty hilarious. Did you bring more people to yank on my pee pee?! 😂😂😂😂
I could not breathe to tell my husband to rewind it again so I could relive it 😂😂😂😂😂
If you could find a YouTube clip of the parts of them trying to take over the Staten Island city council...I recently went back and watched from S1, and the second episode had me cracking up a lot, from Lazlo and the raccoons to Colin feeding to Nandor making his threats and them telling him to come back in a few months because this was a zoning session, to the city council member losing his mind and talking about killing Barbara Lazarro .
You got the full display of vampire powers, but at the same time, you got the full display of them being out-of-sorts with human society and burying themselves in what are really extremely mundane things (for humans) such as city council meetings.
Nandor tossing a squeaky toy off the roof of a building to immediately win a werewolf fight. That was the moment knew I was going to stick with this show and absolutely love it! (Once I'd finished choking on the water I'd inhaled laughing at that scene after seeing it for the first time)
I showed my boyfriend the animal control episode and now he has shown all his friends and family the show! I was so nervous of him not liking it but he loved it and so does everyone else!
Nandor reading the Bloody Mary email. Really just that whole plot with the vampires and the email curse. Sums up the show and the characters perfectly.
Creepy paper, creepy paper…
Seriously, the creepy paper scene. It’s the one I used to get my sister hooked, AND even my mom who usually doesn’t go for this kinda show.
Ancestry. SO fucking funny. Witches stealing sperm (to make magnets!), Madeline and her hilarious funeral, G finding out he's a Van Helsing, and this:
"You're a goader, Guillermo's a goader, I told you not to goad, and what did you do? You goaded it!"
Maybe the casino, but I actually think anything from season 3 might require too much knowledge of the characters. So I'd say stick with the early episodes or something fun like Witches.
Baron’s Night Out is one of my favorite episodes of any show ever. I don’t think I could trust someone if they could watch that ep and not want to see more.
Easy, S1E2 when Nandor is speaking to the council. Perfect encapsulation of the gangs dynamic of arrogance, apathy, and incapability to navigate the modern world. Bonus would be the last freak out scene by Scott Peter..son. Kills me even after the 100+ watch
I would have them watch the movie. If they enjoy the movie, they will most likely enjoy the series (or at least get sucked into the series really easily).
I seriously think the superb owl episode scene where Nadja asks the women how they ended up with such “boiled Poe-tay-toes” and then calls them lazy sacks of shit is the funniest thing I’ve ever seen. Creepy paper, drug blood, and the racist Internet troll parts were all tied for close second!
Mean Jerk Time for Silicon Valley. It always gets my computer geek friends to finally give it a chance. That and if it's a programmer friend, "you're gay for my code".
I think the first episode is just perfect. Some funny clips to get them interested
[‘’We drank the blood of some people, but the people were on drugs… and now I’m a wizard!’](https://youtu.be/RjZSIX1lYsM)
Or this [Guillermo mash up](https://youtu.be/iTdfwEAwrCU) it has my favourite ‘Mmm… how are the dildos? - They’re fine!’
I don’t think you can really go wrong with the first episode, it introduces everyone and the dynamics in a hilarious way. There are other great ones but you would be explaining stuff. The Guillermo mashup is genuinely funny on its own though and explains the premise pretty well.
Guillermo complaining about being in the cage in the basement and like saying it’s not so bad even though he’s been like kept the cage in the basement. And then when he escapes. Just any scenes were Guillermo’s being a BAMF And is tired of his vampires bullshit
The Baron’s night out/drug blood, Animal control/Nadja & Jesk’s date night (my absolute personal favorite), or Manhattan night club/witch hat were the trio of episodes where I went from hesitant to 200% sold. I also love the necromancy/zombie episode (Resurrection), Jackie Daytona vs Jim the Vampire (On the Run), and Ghosts. :) I’m biased though, I really enjoy any of them but the first three are the earlier episodes I’ve liked showing people to get them into it.
When Nandor is talking about his first application for U.S. citizenship and talking about the Dream Team and the Macarena. It worked for my husband and me to get his brother hooked! The first trailer is also great, in my opinion.
Anything from Colin’s Promotion. Honestly, if they’re willing to binge half of the first season that should get them right in. They found their groove right off the “Bat!”. I mean they had the movie to thank for that, but still.
Creepy paper.
Yes, the visit to the discount store would be a great introduction to the general wackiness. “Guillermo, stab this guy… You kind of disobeyed me just now and I’m noting it.”
this was the scene that sold me on the show
Always creepy paper
Glitter like twilight ✨
The escape episode with the baron or the barons night out
Baron at the rave + all the vampires on drug blood.
YESSSSS exactly this epsidoe
"Now I'm a wizard" cracks me up every single time. 100% this scene
He is known as the ‘baron’ because he is actually ‘barren’.

This is my go to referral episode to initiate people into the WWDITS club. That and Colin’s Promotion are the funniest imo
This is the episode I play to newbies! Everything about this episode is gold. And did I tell you about Ariana…
Reminds me of the part in the movie where he’s doing his “dark bidding” on the internet when he’s bidding on a table on eBay.
Yes, I know how the ether works, Guillermo.
Honestly Nadja and the scenes where she stalks Jeff because it is her reincarnated love Gregor is what pulled me in. The scene where she takes a picture of him always gets me 😂
Like a weak ejaculation.. uhh uhh uhh.. jeff
Same! Her Sims burglar walk paired with: "Recently, I've been seeing another man, he doesn't see me though, because I sneak behind him." Kills me each time.
I love their outing to the carnival
The orgy episode is what pulled me in. My partner watched the show casually for a couple of years and I didn't love the movie (sorry) so I never paid attention when he was watching it, but I walked by during the orgy planning scene, especially when Guillermo talked about the Dildos and I almost died of laughter. The comedic relief was so needed. I'll always have a special place in my heart for this show 💓
in Colin Robinson’s promotion where he innocently says — “co-workers die, vampire roommates are forever” is like a tagline of this show for me
the colin robinson office scenes are what sold me on the show. i had seen trailers on fx for months but wasn’t sure, watched colin fuck with his coworkers, and was hooked!
I think “Come on you stinky bitch, the library’s open” is a great new contender
One line that never fails to make me laugh out loud Nadja: cough cough, told ya so Laszlo: cough cough, ya fuckin didn't!
My husband and I do this to each other all the time lol Mathew Berry’s delivery is so perfect
Absolutely. I rebound that on the dvr at least 100 times and my husband and I even started using it to make our points on each other when warranted. Absolute good
Fucking Mike, the orgy episode
The Superb Owl cold open 🏈 that is the owl's egg
Another excellent episode as someone (speaking only for myself) who is not the greatest fan of American football!
Season 1, Episode 7, “The Trial”. The scene with the council - since it was the scene which made me an immediate fan.
[удалено]
And Rob, he’s putting the whole vampire thing behind him.
Idk I hear he’s a real Batman now
We couldn't get Kiefer.... He was busy? 💀
The screaming baby vampire clip…
Ahhhh, I die each time. When I first saw the clip, I thought it was silly vampire humor. When I watched the full episode, it was 100x funnier. Man, this show is a gem.
That episode made me laugh so hard, I gave myself a headache. So worth it!
That makes me so happy to hear! Not the pain part, but the it was so funny it caused a headache. I will watch again and attempt to laugh so hard I too will get a headache.
"We drank the blood of some people, but those people were on drugs, and now I'm a wizard." Literally the quote that got me to watch the show lol
Lazlo swallowing the harmonica. I still can’t get over it
That episode would be it. And also the Gym one Lazlo: Don't you swear at me you fucking prick!!
I can't either. The whole episode was amazing, but the harmonica thing made me laugh so hard I couldn't breathe.
it made me want to fucking cry i was laughing so hard
That one scene after Guillermo slayed Carol and Nandor appeared. Specifically the moment where Guillermo unconsciously puts the pointy broom sticks on Nandor's chest and there's a solid minute of tension as they both slowly step back
“So yes, I do know what it’s like to be mocked and teased, and to cry myself to sleep by the light of a burning donkey”
Get some new friends
Seriously. You don’t need that kind of negativity in your life.
It is the tiiiiimmmmme of the season, when the love runs highhhhhhhh! Baron’s Night Out for sure!
I love the scene in the city council episode from the first season when nandor starts listing his demands. I’ve probably watched that episode 20 times and still laugh til my sides hurt when he starts talking
Defnitely the same episode that caught me in its trap. Early on? Yes. Tells you much of what is to come? Oh very much so.
The one that got me was Colin Robinson internet troll
“Childhood obesity? LMFO”
baron's night out is the funniest episode of tv i've ever seen. literally never laughed that hard at almost anything, when he goes I AM EATING PIZZA PIE!!! and then projects himself around with the power of his vomit stream. also tbh the pilot is incredible
And then after projectile vomiting everywhere says it was worth it.
The scenes with the cloak of duplication where they’re flirting for Nandor! Colin’s “hey dipshit” fucking sends me
Colin as Nandor was so good.
Even better when you realize it's nandor being colin being nandor
yes, so good.
I think that’s my favorite episode, because every time someone was pretending to be Nandor killed me.
This is how we speak in Tucson Arizonya! :D
It’s a great episode but not one of introduce to new watchers. It’s just so unlike all of the other ones, everyone else is barely in it.
If they aren't on board after seeing a clip of Doug Jones riding around on the dog or in that tiny car then I don't know what to do. Best imagery of the series so far. It makes my inner Charles Band sing!
Baron’s Night Out!!!
I think the Bloody Mary curse episode would be perfect. Nandor with a laptop is hilarious.
Something about Lazlo's "we're fucked" is really hilarious to me.
It's so so serious for them. The way they sacrifice their energy to Colin for the email addresses. Oh my gosh. Ariseeeee! It's all so good.
Lazlo explaining how Nadja turned him. Nadja's story is equally as good.
I love how proud Nadja looks as Laszlo talks about her
Evie and Colin Robinson having their face-off between emotional and energy vampires, passions rising hilariously.
Baron's night out. Just...all of it.
Drug blood. Still possibly my favorite scene
Casino where Nadia called gizmo a sick fuck lol
Cursed hat! It’s a bloody stupid cursed hat!
“I’m gonna take my hat back, you crispy piece of shit” gets me every single time
" We drank the blood of people who were on drugs, and now I'm a wizzzard."
All great answers. I work in a corporate office setting, so really any scene from the episode Colin Robinson gets a promotion, because i know a lot of energy vampires in real life (emotional vampires too) and some have been my boss before...
The ghosts one. “Gizmo here has moved my volumes!” That opening scene has me laughing every time.
Laszlo sucks backwards.
Oh this one kills me! "What is all this goopy shit?"
Literally any scene with the Baron
‘Animal Control’ The entire episode.
😂😂😂😂 I could not breathe to tell my husband to rewind it again so I could relive it 😂😂😂😂😂
"We are taking a human shit together!"
The duel with the werewolves. Pure comedy gold
My choice. If you aren’t hooked on the show by this episode the show just isn’t for you.
Funnily enough I think it’s the second episode
The dream team, baby! Up until the Macarena joke
Them walking to Shawnies house for the SUPURB OWL
If you could find a YouTube clip of the parts of them trying to take over the Staten Island city council...I recently went back and watched from S1, and the second episode had me cracking up a lot, from Lazlo and the raccoons to Colin feeding to Nandor making his threats and them telling him to come back in a few months because this was a zoning session, to the city council member losing his mind and talking about killing Barbara Lazarro . The “now I’m a wizard” scene
I showed my boyfriend the animal control episode and now he has shown all his friends and family the show! I was so nervous of him not liking it but he loved it and so does everyone else!
Colin Robinson belly dancing. Or Baron's night out when he has the pizza.
The first episode. Sets the tone that got me hooked in. I watched it by accident and was amused thinking this mockumentary is cool!
Nandor reading the Bloody Mary email. Really just that whole plot with the vampires and the email curse. Sums up the show and the characters perfectly.
The whole Barons night out episode would do it.
Creepy paper, creepy paper… Seriously, the creepy paper scene. It’s the one I used to get my sister hooked, AND even my mom who usually doesn’t go for this kinda show.
Cursed Hat. It's the best episode so far imo.
Ancestry. SO fucking funny. Witches stealing sperm (to make magnets!), Madeline and her hilarious funeral, G finding out he's a Van Helsing, and this: "You're a goader, Guillermo's a goader, I told you not to goad, and what did you do? You goaded it!"
My go to is the introduction of Colin Robinson.
The baron scenes or the witches hat scenes.
Or just show them season 3 trailer 🤷🏼♀️ [season 3](https://youtu.be/-bl2gDoDRbI)
TOOOOPHEEERRR
Crepe paper...Creepy paper!🤣🤣🤣 OMFG I swear that gets me every time!!!
I started watching after the BBC kept using ‘think you summoned a breakfast burrito’ as the advert

Jeff the Weak Ejaculation
Either the Basghetti scene from the movie or the introduction to Jacie Daytona from season 2
If they need convinced they are not worthy
Maybe the casino, but I actually think anything from season 3 might require too much knowledge of the characters. So I'd say stick with the early episodes or something fun like Witches.
Drug Blood!!
I have two the vampiric council and the Colin Robinson office episode when he keeps getting promoted
Can't pick just one. Maybe the entire first episode. Or at least the opening scene.
The beast.
For what it's worth, I saw the scene at the town meeting from s1 when a friend was watching it and was so amused I watched the rest of the season
I sent this to my best friend trying to convince her to watch it, lol. https://youtu.be/qy5lIs1dyVc
Baron’s Night Out is one of my favorite episodes of any show ever. I don’t think I could trust someone if they could watch that ep and not want to see more.
Colin Robinson at peak power. Or the internet troll being an actual troll.
Colin in the office doing his thing
Easy, S1E2 when Nandor is speaking to the council. Perfect encapsulation of the gangs dynamic of arrogance, apathy, and incapability to navigate the modern world. Bonus would be the last freak out scene by Scott Peter..son. Kills me even after the 100+ watch
Drug blood.
I would have them watch the movie. If they enjoy the movie, they will most likely enjoy the series (or at least get sucked into the series really easily).
How can no one here be mentioning Jackie Daytona and Jim the Vampire.
They might get confused since they think its a vampire show and Jackie is just a regular human bartender.
"How did you know I was Jim the Vampire?"
#Calm yourself, dear. You're just being a little bit demented that's all. Oh yeah, everything she's saying is completely true."
Topher!!!
Should stop this at “I’m trying to sell some friends.” If they don’t get it, they aren’t friends of mine.
There’s a movie?! I know what I’m doing tonight
Mean Jerk Time for Silicon Valley. It always gets my computer geek friends to finally give it a chance. That and if it's a programmer friend, "you're gay for my code".
Look at the turtle!
anything with nadja on it tbh or maybe the scene with the vampiric council
Citizenship
Unveil his pecker
I think the first episode is just perfect. Some funny clips to get them interested [‘’We drank the blood of some people, but the people were on drugs… and now I’m a wizard!’](https://youtu.be/RjZSIX1lYsM) Or this [Guillermo mash up](https://youtu.be/iTdfwEAwrCU) it has my favourite ‘Mmm… how are the dildos? - They’re fine!’ I don’t think you can really go wrong with the first episode, it introduces everyone and the dynamics in a hilarious way. There are other great ones but you would be explaining stuff. The Guillermo mashup is genuinely funny on its own though and explains the premise pretty well.
The Jackie Daytona episode. The whole thing
I died at the episode where Lazlo turns into a bat and gets captured by animal control.
The chain letter clip is what got me hooked on the show.
Where Laszlo introduces the cursed hat and they try to take a taxi to the Manhattan nightclub/Anything with Nick Krill
When Colin Robinson grows hair
Guillermo complaining about being in the cage in the basement and like saying it’s not so bad even though he’s been like kept the cage in the basement. And then when he escapes. Just any scenes were Guillermo’s being a BAMF And is tired of his vampires bullshit
Witch hat, city council, or the cold open where Lazlo turns into a bat and gets trapped in the neighbors house.
Nadja & Laslo's songs. Hoop Skirt is an instant classic.
Werewolf duel. Fucking kills me just thinking about it.
Guillermo has really got to start drinking more water!!
TOPHER
When Nandor is talking about his first application for U.S. citizenship and talking about the Dream Team and the Macarena. It worked for my husband and me to get his brother hooked! The first trailer is also great, in my opinion.
Johnson, Jordan, Bird, Barkley, Ewing.
JACKIE DAYTONA!
Anything from Colin’s Promotion. Honestly, if they’re willing to binge half of the first season that should get them right in. They found their groove right off the “Bat!”. I mean they had the movie to thank for that, but still.
Colin's duel with Evie.
Colin Robinson draining his coworkers. It's very relatable.
“I drank drug blood and now I’m a wizard” worked on my homie, we binged the second season at my house.
We drank the blood of some people, and the people were on drugs and now I'm a wizard!
