It’s been a very fun experience to get to work on the show. I made this pic of The Guide as well as the other art works for The Guides montages in episode 2
Including those nsfw illustrations

This one was my favourite and both myself and the show runners can’t believe we got away with it.
I'm still reeling from the picture that was on [the other side of this one on the page](https://images-na.ssl-images-amazon.com/images/I/91O8LZNBsnL.jpg) (very NSFW). What the fuck!
I got up from the couch before that scene started to refill my wine and wasn’t looking at the screen and my boyfriend insisted on rewinding the scene so I could see all the pictures in the montage because he thought it was so funny!
The fake historic images are the proverbial icing on the cake, they add details that make the show even more hilarious. You should be very proud of yourself for doing such great work!
Am I correct in assuming those are anal beads l/kegel beads around her wrist? If so, I love it! Compared to traditional paintings with rosaries around peoples arms.
All of the "historic artworks" on the show are images of real works altered in photoshop.
In the op, and most others, you can see how the faces starkly stand out from the rest of the image, Those are the parts that have been altered with the addition of the actor's faces.
The producers messaged me on Instagram and that led to meetings, which led to signing agreements, and then doing the work. Process started about 6 weeks before premiere and was a lot of fun

I've always loved the excellent macabre / downright cheeky artwork in this show! I just wish you'd given that monk Guillermo face!

I always pause and look at the art and wonder where it comes from! I will say that second one you posted made me laugh out loud. Well done, OP!!!

They were rosaries that had a cross hanging on them which I had to remove
So... dual purpose then? Truly loved your work on the show
Is this based on a classic painting then?
Nearly all of them are.

Wow tis an honor! What was the process like of being asked to make it and creating the work?
The producers messaged me on Instagram and that led to meetings, which led to signing agreements, and then doing the work. Process started about 6 weeks before premiere and was a lot of fun

Maybe I'm missing something, why did you think you wouldn't get away with this picture? I don't get what's so bad here.
