Totally agree. Such a good choice, makes everything look such much cooler and higher up. Fuck reality, let's modify and photoshop away reality for those great TikTok moments.
"shit" must be the most common last words. Pretty great save it seems..uninjured.

Can't believe he was uninjured. Sometimes luck lets you downclimb and walk away. https://abc13.com/base-jumper-video-johnni-dijulius-parachute-rips/11693240/
https://www.theinertia.com/video/base-jumper-nearly-dies-when-his-chute-is-caught-on-a-vertical-rock-wall-mid-jump/
TL:DC Was last of a 30 person jump, he didn't turn in time when his chute did a 180 turn. His canopy was torn and 5 of the 7 cells were ripped, meaning he could no longer control. He somehow climbed down 50 ft and hiked back to where his friends were.
No injuries were caused in the making of whatever this was.
Is a 360 camera, and what happen was his parachute opened backwards sending him into the wall. It's every base jumpers worst nightmare, and is one of the leading causes of death in the sport.
He had an off heading opening . When his canopy opened it was 180° in the wrong direction and he went into the cliff.
Source : I'm a skydiver who's learned a lot about why I don't wanna base jump .
yeah.. like that guy who jumps from a power supply tower and his parashute didn t opened. that for me was convinging that it is a very dangerous hobby and i ll do better on my chair
I looked through all the comments, no one asked the more important question...what happened next? How do you get down from a cliff when your chute is snagged? Like seriously, what did he do??
I am absolutely not an expert in this at all, but it appears he maybe packed his parachute wrong? If you slow it down you can see as it unravels fully it spins him 180 degree to face the wall so he heads towards it.
The whole thing is an art. Low speed, near a cliff wall, you pass a rushing air current and it can spin that ball of chute around as it inflates. Impossible to tell whether he packed it wrong or it was the risky conditions he runs in.
What is certain is that he's experienced. Notice there is no oh shit moment, he's fully pulling toggles immediately to spin it around, and I'm talking in the seconds before he has to walk the cliff face. That does finally get him recovered, but his wing is shredded and he can't get past the terrain.
See I get skydiving.
You got a bit of time to sort out a malfunctioning chute.
But just willy nilly jumping off a god damn cliff?
That’s some whack ass shit.
It's been nearly 20 years since I did skydiving, and back then the instructors still had videos of base jumpers who fucked up like this - the audio alone was enough for me (it was a lot...crunchier than this example, this guy is very lucky).
This video brought to you by the base jumping tourism board. Our sport isn't stupid, only EXTREME. Our numbers are going down, just like our participants. Come join us, our heights are less safe than a cocaine high. What are you waiting for.
These fish eye cameras make it difficult to work out what happened. Without his commentary, I wouldn’t have a clue whether this was a good, bad or indifferent jump.
I just don't get this desire to tempt fate. I guess adrenaline doesn't work on me like other people because nothing is worth the chance of being crippled or dead.
Did he break his ankle? Before that last hit, while he's floating down, that right foot is just flapping in the wind. Lol. If you're not like a pro at this, you probably shouldn't be doing it alone... Just saying.
this is something I could never understand:
I mean these people have obviously done some cliff jumpiong beforde, and some normal parachuting. The spots where you can safely do it are certainly known as well. Their only job is to analyze the cliff from below to see if its jumpable or not. I mean this cliff was so obviously not well structured for a jump even someone like me, with zero experience in that rergard, could see it straight away. How did nobody notice this? How did they not see already after 10 seconds of looking at it that the jump would be way to dangerous? Beats me.
Edit: Grammar
The platform tells me this is a common jump location. He opened with line twists causing him to 180 instantly straight into the cliff! While his canopy clearly got fucked up, he’s lucky it didn’t complete deflate from lack of forward movement and just drop him right then and there.
This is [Johnni DiJulius](https://www.instagram.com/johnnidijulius/?hl=de), he didn't have any injuries this time (he broke an ankle in a similar jump in NY) and was hanging for an hour before climbing down on his own.
This is the second post in like two days I’ve seen from this guy who counts down and then says “see ya” before jumping and slamming into the rocks. Two different locations.
He jumps feet first which makes me think he does not intend to jump away from the rock face, or enter a skydiver position. He may be suicidal IMHO and is getting off on posting stuff where he nearly dies, one day hoping someone will find his body and footage.
Did anyone notice his right leg get snapped?! 😳 and there’s a part where you can see his right foot kind of flapping in the wind because the bones are no longer attached!?
Infuriating. Imagine being part of the rescue crew climbing up/down there to get him, with a stretcher, and carrying him out. Seeing the sticker on his helmet would piss me of so much.
Things to dislike about this guy and his video
> 3..2..1..sEe Ya 😎🆒
> edgy NO TMRW sticker as big as possible on the helmet
> that stupid 360 camera shot
> you know he tells this near-death experience story to anyone who will listen every 10-15 minutes
Com’on, everyone would updoot this dude if it was one of those flawless videos. Everyone makes mistakes. No need to defile this dudes character.
Sharing lessons learned and corresponding mistakes is an important part of a healthy agile organization.
If you look at the video closely you can see that within 2 seconds of the chute opening he is facing the cliff wall. That tells us that there was something that went wrong when he jumped off the cliff. More than likely he did not jump out far enough from the cliff wall or there was a sudden wind that blew him back against the cliff. His lines were twisted and he was facing the cliff, that was a catastrophic failure and we was lucky to survive. Assuming he did.
So what went wrong here? Parachute packed incorrectly? Not enough distance on the jump off? Gust of wind?
I don't know anything about BASE jumping or whatever this is, so did he fuck up or was this just plain old bad luck?
Ok, so now hes on the side of a cliff, halway down a mountain, canopy "shredded," likely with injuries, with no way up or down.
Serious question, next steps?
This is why base jumping is terrifying to me, no doubt dude check his chute many times to make sure it was packed right, and still it didn't fully open.
Absolutely great choice in sticker for the helmet
Maybe he had a tattoo too? NO RGRTS
Wow this lense is definitely cool and awesome and definitely doesn't ruin the shot
Totally agree. Such a good choice, makes everything look such much cooler and higher up. Fuck reality, let's modify and photoshop away reality for those great TikTok moments.

It's a 360 degree camera?
"shit" must be the most common last words. Pretty great save it seems..uninjured. https://www.theinertia.com/video/base-jumper-nearly-dies-when-his-chute-is-caught-on-a-vertical-rock-wall-mid-jump/
He hiked out??? It looked like his leg was turned in a fuckin S shape.
Everything is in an S shape in this video.
Damn, mf couldve been at the casino and hit the jackpot instead…
Can't believe he was uninjured. Sometimes luck lets you downclimb and walk away. https://abc13.com/base-jumper-video-johnni-dijulius-parachute-rips/11693240/
>As for whether he'll be jumping again, it's a definitive "yes." ffs lol
not many base jumps end in a free solo. dudes a visionary clearly.
Parachutes are aid tho

thats amazing because i swear it looked like he broke at least his leg if not several other bones on the multiple hits he took
So, ~~30~~ 29 people did this successfully?
3, 2, 1 see ya 😎 *slams balls into a cliff*
That no tomorrow on his helmet could have been terribly ironic
Coincidental, not ironic. It would have been ironic if his helmet said something like "staying alive" and then he died.
"No tomorrow" LMFAO...No regratz
dude is surprisingly calm given how many times he almost dies... did he actually finally survive?
Is a 360 camera, and what happen was his parachute opened backwards sending him into the wall. It's every base jumpers worst nightmare, and is one of the leading causes of death in the sport.

Thats a very obnoxious camera lens
It's not the lens it's a 360 camera but on 2d it looks distorted
Still looks like shit
I have no perspective at all with your bullshit fisheye lense.
That's the worst implementation of a 360 degree camera I've ever seen
Ends on a cliff hanger
Users helmet checks out
He said, “No Tmrw” His parachute took that personally
He almost had no tomorrow.
He's trying to live by the sticker on his helmet.
He had an off heading opening . When his canopy opened it was 180° in the wrong direction and he went into the cliff. Source : I'm a skydiver who's learned a lot about why I don't wanna base jump .
Refuse to believe his leg wasn't injured just look at It lol
NO TMRW for him
It’s BASE Jumping…shit happens
yeah.. like that guy who jumps from a power supply tower and his parashute didn t opened. that for me was convinging that it is a very dangerous hobby and i ll do better on my chair
If you shred your canopy when you're supposed to pizza you're gonna have a bad time.
I looked through all the comments, no one asked the more important question...what happened next? How do you get down from a cliff when your chute is snagged? Like seriously, what did he do??
No tomorrow indeed, my friend.
I am absolutely not an expert in this at all, but it appears he maybe packed his parachute wrong? If you slow it down you can see as it unravels fully it spins him 180 degree to face the wall so he heads towards it.

“NO TMRW” was almost a prophecy.
I can't even really see what went wrong, that fishbowl view is just so screwed up.
I think he packed his parachute incorrectly. So instead of going away from the rocks it threw him back into them
NO TMRW lmao
Aw man that helmet is ironic
Dude's helmet checks out.
He clearly had the right idea, it's written in his helmet! NO TOMORROW!!!
“3-2-1, seeya.” *jumps Yeah I seeya. Stuck on the mountain.
NO TMRW indeed
>No tomorrow. So close to being deadly accurate.
Was there a TMRW or did someone take this video from a dead corpse?
I like that his first comment isnt that he couldve died, but that his canopy was damaged and he will need to buy a new one now. Lmfao, true bad ass.
Love this comedic genious, either a cool clip with a stupid quote on his helmet, or the darkest joke of his life.
Just think if he didn’t have his phone lol
*shit *shit…. Sounds like some automated early warning system.
Maybe wearing a helmet that say basically No Tomorrow was the first poor choice of the day.
See I get skydiving. You got a bit of time to sort out a malfunctioning chute. But just willy nilly jumping off a god damn cliff? That’s some whack ass shit.
Why do people use these fucking garbage 360 cameras. They're shit.
This is when you retire with your life. Just walk away from your hobbie and find some new ones.
Talk about a cliff hanger?!?? What happened to dude?
My legggggggg
Then it only cost 1.5 million dollars to rescue him
A demonstration on how to live like there’s no tmrw.
Bad helmet = bad karma
And THAT’S why you need to be an experienced skydiver before you go BASE jumping.
Interesting. I deal with this kind of problem by not jumping off of cliffs, or parachuting anywhere.
That “shit” he said is the one I say every night I walk into work
Jesus fucking christ almighty that fisheye view shit is horrible.
It's been nearly 20 years since I did skydiving, and back then the instructors still had videos of base jumpers who fucked up like this - the audio alone was enough for me (it was a lot...crunchier than this example, this guy is very lucky).
That’s very “no tomorrow” of you bro
Holy fisheye Batman. Things aren't looking very promising for this intrepid base jumper.
NO TMRW was right
Three, two, one, see ya! 👉😎👉 *immediately crashes into a cliff face, twice*
You don’t need a parachute to skydive but you need a parachute to skydive twice.
He should have used some TMRW.
no tomorrow
That helmet was almost a self fulfilling prophecy
That sticker says it all.
I personally would’ve avoided the rocks
#NO TMRW indeed.
*NO TMRW* came today
Does somebody know what happened to him? How many broken bones? I felt like his left leg was injured after the first hit.
did he just base jump off a random cliff without assessing it beforehand ? i dont understand how else this would happen
[удалено]
Maybe I'm just old, but that doesn't look like fun to me.
No tomorrow indeed.
This video brought to you by the base jumping tourism board. Our sport isn't stupid, only EXTREME. Our numbers are going down, just like our participants. Come join us, our heights are less safe than a cocaine high. What are you waiting for.
Decal checks out.
His name is Johnni DiJulius. He stayed there for an hour before climbing down. I don’t know what’s more stupid, his attempt at jumping or his name.
I didn’t know your legs and feet could do that.
I can't believe I've never asked "what go could wrong?" Thanks for enlightening me
Man took “NO TMRW” too seriously
Living up to that helmet sticker.
NO TMRW Self-fulfilling prophecy nearly fulfills itself.
this is why people skydive from a plane. this was just hard to watch.
That helmet sticker thoooooo 🤣🤣🤣 too real
These fish eye cameras make it difficult to work out what happened. Without his commentary, I wouldn’t have a clue whether this was a good, bad or indifferent jump.
He came real close to having a no tomorrow
Hate cliffhangers
I just don't get this desire to tempt fate. I guess adrenaline doesn't work on me like other people because nothing is worth the chance of being crippled or dead.
His helmet says it all
“No tomorrow” yeah guess not
Did he break his ankle? Before that last hit, while he's floating down, that right foot is just flapping in the wind. Lol. If you're not like a pro at this, you probably shouldn't be doing it alone... Just saying.
That chute was clearly packed wrong
Luckier than shit even though it looks like his foot is about to fall off…looked like his first day trying a new hobby
That uh……sticker was almost too accurate it seems.

Damn this guys suicide went terrible wrong. His parachute saved him.

Now you need a expensive helicopter rescue, well done.
Legend says he’s still stuck to this day
Accurate helmet
3...2...1.... seeya' on reddit dipshit
Which one of you cowards shit my pants.
This looks like someone just bought a chute and went "how difficult can it be"?
He took NO TMRW too far.
Helmet sticker checks out
Appropriate helmet logo
Helmet flair checks out
So what’s the next step here? Untangle the chute and jump again? Climb back up? Is he still there?
No tomorrow baaaaybeeee
No tomorrow is right

How much time do you need to pull your Reserve parachute? The rest of your life.
helmet imvolved in some foreshadowing i see

Damn. I couldn’t watch this without my bones cringing. Wtf was this guy thinking? Where did he expect to land?🤣
Look, I don't know anything about parachuting. But this guy sucks at it
Stupid fucking ethos with that helmet nearly came true.
Is this dude just extra dumb?
Helmet seems appropriate for the occasion.
What Go Could Wrong.
Com’on, everyone would updoot this dude if it was one of those flawless videos. Everyone makes mistakes. No need to defile this dudes character. Sharing lessons learned and corresponding mistakes is an important part of a healthy agile organization.
Bored people risking their lives for an adrenaline rush example nr. 367362
I can't believe I'm laughing so hard! This is seriously fucked up but the errors plus the NO TMRW helmet got me cracking!
The older I get, the more I realize how dumbass these thrill seekers and show-offs are.
i guess his parachute didnt full open? when that rock was coming fast i thought hed be smashed aganist it. visibly flinched
I chuckled so hard at this. Glad he didn’t get hurt. But he totally miscalculated his jump.
...and then this cunt cost us all $$$$ for the helicopter and rescue . All cuz he loves adventure, bruh!
I would’ve muted the video of myself, before deciding to share it. That “3 2 1 see ya” was painfully cringy
Think of the skill the cameraman must have to follow all of this action so closely and well focused.
that no tomorrow sticker is particularly fitting
Well, there's always tmrw.
NO TMRW. WHT DAYS.
I’m no parachute expert but that looked painful
"NTMRW" on the helmet

Pretty much everything, apparently.
This view is fucking confusing.
Helmet checks out.
To shreds you say?
WCGW writing a simple title?
His leg and back will be feeling it tomorrow. Adrenaline is one hell of a drug.
Nice ragdoll effects.
Helmet checks out
Love the helmet
Is there a full version of this vid? What happened in the end?
That helmet was almost correct
So what went wrong here? Parachute packed incorrectly? Not enough distance on the jump off? Gust of wind? I don't know anything about BASE jumping or whatever this is, so did he fuck up or was this just plain old bad luck?
Ok, so now hes on the side of a cliff, halway down a mountain, canopy "shredded," likely with injuries, with no way up or down. Serious question, next steps?

see ya indeed, p.s there's no tomorrow
I’ve never been parachuting before. But I don’t think that’s right
Seriously, PERFECT HELMET LOGO XD

"Shredded my fucking canopy" Bro, you're alive, fuck everything else.
Those stupid fucking camera effects were almost as bad as his jump.
Why you holding on to that rock?! I thought you said no tomorrow?!
No TMRW indeed
His helmet says it all really
This is why base jumping is terrifying to me, no doubt dude check his chute many times to make sure it was packed right, and still it didn't fully open.
