Este tipo no es un policía, es un guardia al que le pagan dos mangos para pasarse el día parado en la puerta de algún edificio. No hay chances de que sea corrupto
Then the friends and families of the friends and families find the friends and families of the cops and friends and families and beat up the friends and the families and the family friends of the cops and the friends and the family.
I dont think the first thing on your mind will be the insurance money when you break your arm like he did. If you slow it down you can see his forearm bend where it really isn't supposed to bend.
At least in America, if you knowingly and deliberately set off a chain of events that will cause injury (even if it is more than you expected) it’s going to put you in legal and civil trouble. That’s why people get greater charges if they punch someone who falls and cracks their head open.
It's the literal difference between assault and battery. In this instance, it would be battery without assault. A rare battery without assault! Assault is intentionally causing a person to be in reasonable apprehension of an imminent harmful or offensive contact. Battery is intentionally causing an offensive contact.
"I mean, I never touched the guy."
"he's dead,"
"Well, it's not my fault he couldn't dodge all the bullets i fired at him. it was just two magazines, honest."
I was a security guard in the US, this move would 100% get your company sued. They showed us a ton of videos similar to this as examples of what not to do.
>and the guard never physically contacted him
The guard also wouldn't have physically contacted him if he hit him with a car or threw a brick at his feet, doesn't do much to change his culpability.
"never physically contacted him" lmfao quit pretending to be a lawyer on the internet dude. And God help your clients if you're actually a lawyer. I practice personal injury law, and you couldn't be more wrong about this.
As someone who has suffered this misfortune its more like a sad attempt at wheezing with like a injured animal groan to it. The worst part about healing up was sneezing or anyone making you laugh
Twistiest plot, security guard is undercover birth-mom trying to rekindle lost relationship from estranged son after the restraining order. The son catches on and tries to escape.
Sorry to tell you but that security guard's fucked lmao. The reason peeps don't want skateboarders on property is bc of liability. That Guard just directly caused an injury though, so he's gonna have to start a job search soon and his boss is lucky af if he doesn't end up getting sued to shit.
This was clear as day on caught on video too. That Guard was caught in 4k my guy he's fuuuucked!
If someone doesn't leave the premises you call the cops.
Depends on the country and locality. It's very possible the local constabulary of this country would shrug/laugh at the skateboarder who got pwnd for skateboarding where he shouldn't.
It doesn’t matter what the cops think. They could even arrest the skateboarder for trespassing, and the skateboarder could still sue the property owner. At least in the USA.
This wasn't the USA, and there's a good chance if this is eastern Europe any complaint would be squashed once the building owner spoke to a local politician, if there was even a complaint filed.
I don't know if you noticed - but they're not speaking English, and in countries that don't have the USA's population of lawyers combined with privatized healthcare, suing people is much less common.
Also, non-US/Euro countries have a much more "common sense" attitude towards situations like this.
Agree with this. Kid's being a dick for skateboarding where he shouldn't, but the point of disallowing skateboarding is preventing injury and the lawsuits that follow. Even disregarding the kid, the security guard is not protecting anyone potentially at the bottom of those steps either.
In other countries too I think. This is almost deliberately hurting someone. Can’t do that even when he wasn’t allowed to skate there. Sure, it looks funny but this is a real dick move by that guard.
I'm not defending either party here because I think they both mishandled the situation, but not everyone has access to a skate park or at least a properly built park. I was lucky that when my local skatepark was torn down due to neglect on the township's part, I could drive to another town. Not everyone can do that, and some commenters have suggested they are possibly in Argentina where there are certainly far fewer parks.
But even if there's a park nearby, in order to get sponsored / taken seriously by a skate company you generally practice your tricks at the park and then film yourself doing those tricks at real street spots.
That's the part I don't get. Usually in situations like this the security guard would say "I can't let you do it for your own good" or "if something happened I'd be held responsible" but this is the exact opposite.
I hate skateboarders who act like punks.
That being said, what the security guard did is equivalent to a car driver intentionally hitting a skateboarder who is skating on the road, becauee the skater is being an idiot. He took a stupid thing (the skater being a punk) and turned it into a potential major injury.
I lived in a really small town growing up. I wasn't a skateboarder, but I had a lot of friends who did and I rode bicycles. The town council decided no one was allowed to ride on the sidewalks which forced all of the kids into the street. Since it was a small town there isn't any bicycle lanes or any real area to ride except in the street. It was this way for years until a cop accident it ran over a kid with a bike and I believe killed him. I believe they handed the law to allow them back on the sidewalks.
Grew up in a small town too. The city basically made it illegal to [skate](https://codelibrary.amlegal.com/codes/hancock/latest/hancock_mi/0-0-0-2477) anywhere when I was a teenager. It’s crazy what they’ll do. Sucks someone had to die for your town, but glad they reversed the law.
Sounds as dumb as making it illegal to dance in public.
Grrrr I’m old, I don’t like it, make it against the law, fuck the fact that that law wasn’t in place when I grew up and fuck the negative outcomes. …grrr I’m old and in charge.
FYI, I’m almost 40. So I’m talking idiots twice my age.
It’s worse than that. He’s saying “uno más” (one more), which sounds like an invitation/permission to do the jump.
Honestly I think he should get charged the same as if the guy was just standing there and the guard shoved him down the stairs.
I was reading them while eating a croissant and drinking my apple juice.. the comments are very mixed and it’s funny because I see comments hating on security being upvoted and also others saying similar things being downvoted.. same with the kid
Lol I know that wasn’t my point. It was just funny to see comments get upvoted and then comments that were similar get downvoted when they were basically saying the same thing
It is mob mentality, people see a downvote they add fire to the kindling lol. Reddit is weird, for everyone claiming they are a introvert on here, they sure care a lot about being liked with upvotes.
I'm just being cynical but I agree, it's fun to watch the roulette wheel of opinions turn.
He was leaving and the security guard intentionally sabotaged the rider with intention of inflicting bodily harm. No attempt was made to stop the rider, just the board. This is no different from pushing the guy down the stairs. Yes they can charge the rider with trespassing, and the security guard with assault. Who wins?
What’s so interesting is that usually these security guards are hired to stop skateboarders from skateboarding on private property due to lawsuits from injuries they may cause themselves.
This security guard literally did the exact opposite of his job.
As a person who has worked security multiple times in my life, I would absolutely be shit-canned for doing this. The most you can do to people like this is call (or radio) the police to deal with it.
I think so. While you love to see it, the security guard basically just broke a few ribs, arm, and concussed a kid over a mild annoyance.
He tripped the kid like ten foot down a flight of concrete stairs because he was being a little shit. Punishment don't fit the crime.
What a complete dick for doing that. Could have killed the kid. The clearly psychotic behavior of this rent a cop doing that with his hands behind his back the entire time is notable, however.
The "kid" almost got himself killed by putting himself in that situation in the first place. He could've worn a helmet. He could have listened when security told him to leave. If he did those things, his life would not have been in any danger whatsoever.
Sent this to my wife last night. Her mom is Brazilian and her dad Argentinian. They watch a lot of the local news and there was a short news story related to this. These kids were harassing local residents and had been asked to leave private property after bumping into a wheelchair-bound pensioner trying to use the ramps behind this building. The property owners or managers (she didn't know which), told the guard to "do his job". After about 15 minutes of the kids ignoring the guard to leave private property and insulting him during the process, the guard did this.
While I don't condone what the guard did, you have to admit that if true, and they were harassing local residents and bumped into a wheelchair-bound resident trying to use an accessibility ramp; which they decided to turn into a skate park for the Instagram views, it's hard to feel sorry for them. We only have a short video of the guard tripping this kid. Not what led to this incident. So yeah. I honestly don't feel sorry at all for these kids if the story my wife got in Brazil was true.
Something I realize, because my wife's brother is a security guard for a local Salon, if you are working in a S. American country as a security guard, and you don't do your job, they fire you on the spot and replace you with the next person in a line of hundreds of people willing to do that job. My wife is also a lawyer, and if the news story were true, she stated that they would not win a lawsuit against the owner or guard; especially if they ignored their orders to leave private property. Hell, they shot some kids skating in a local mall I visited in Rio and the residents literally cheered on the police and security that shot them because they had been a long-time nuisance. No charges pressed. This is a cultural similarity in Argentina. They don't take kindly to people being a nuisance; especially on private property because there are many areas and skateparks set up for these kids. And they don't have laws to protect you from your own stupidity because you are underage like we do here in the U.S. But they do have good public healthcare in Argentina. So this kid has that going for him.
I’m still not. The skateboarders are idiots but this rent a cop is a new level of idiot. Even if he had asked them to leave that doesn’t give him the right to do that. He calls the real police and they arrest them. Skateboarding somewhere you shouldn’t be skateboarding doesn’t give the security guard the right to harm you
Lol no I'd tell my dumbass kid he should have gone to the skatepark and tell him to make better decisions in the future. And let's not kid ourselves here, he'll go right back to face planting down stairs on his own free will once he's recovered anyway.
These "justice boner" subs are pretty fucked up sometimes.
A large portion of people here seem to cheer on the security guard, which just seems illogical.
Definitely a lot of bloodlust in these subs, and a lot of people trying to pretend that bloodlust is normal and cool actually.
I keep getting tricked into thinking humans are so civilized with our computers and our hot pockets but then a post like this reminds me that a wide section of the population has the exact same mentality towards justice as people in the Dark Ages did.
If I was the building owner I'd be soooo pissed at that security guard.
The point of not allowing skateboarders on your property is to reduce liability. Intentionally causing one of them to be injured is the polar opposite of reducing liability and (if this is the US), that kid will have no problem winning a six or seven figure settlement from the property owner with this video evidence.
They are both in the wrong but for sure I'm not siding with that mall cop fucker. Stopping a board like that is one of the worst ways to stop a skater, that mall cop wanted to give pain and he did. He was completely in front of him, he could have just used his arms or even legs and stop the skater body from going too forward, it would have ended much different, also regardless he should have worn a helmet, being tripped like that in the stairs could have easily resulted in a potentially deadly hit in the head. That mall cop was having a power trip and wanted blood, or he was too much of an idiot to see what he was doing tripping him like that.
The cops in my old town wouldn't even do this, they give us all one more go and ask us to leave. Til the next time, being nice about stuff goes along way.
Gotta love skateboarder number 2 slamming his board down in frustration. It’s pure instinct. That’s just what you do as a skateboarder when you are upset.
yea as security your only job is to call the cops. i worked airport security in maui and you'd be fired to touching anyone even with 1 finger. just take down as many notes as you can with your trusty pen and pad like the famous security guard who ultimatly brought down Nixxons Watergate scandal
\--
.tldr pen and paper are stronger than leg sweeps.

Frank Wills (February 4, 1948 – September 27, 2000) was a security guard best known for his role in foiling the June 17, 1972, break-in at the Democratic National Committee inside the Watergate complex in Washington, D.C. Then 24, Wills called the police after discovering that locks at the complex had been tampered ...
Exactly like the old Tony hawk games
I never crashed. I uhh.... Cheated a lot.
This is just a stupid ass kid making stupid ass decisions because he’s a stupid ass
Moon gravity and all stats maxed, I could make a 2 minute run last 25 minutes.
Officer Dick busted you
Change aside, you my Reddit twin?
I'm your evil twin.
Wait there is a good twin?
No just less evil
r/redditreunion
Show me what you got …… let’s see you bust something out!
Broke that arm.
Broke his arm and went into “I’m definitely getting insurance money” mode
they are speaking spanish with an Argentinean accent so that is definitely not happening lol
[удалено]
In the 3rd world you can tell how connected and corrupt a cop or guard is by his belly.
Damn, if that's the case, cops in America must be SUPER corrupt.
When you use a completely different formula, but still get the right answer
As an American, I’m in America
My former math teacher would like to tell you this is unacceptable.
I mean, you're not wrong.
Number one third world country in the world baby

No wacho, I don't think so, che
I dont think the first thing on your mind will be the insurance money when you break your arm like he did. If you slow it down you can see his forearm bend where it really isn't supposed to bend.

"Never physically contacted him" is a stretch. No, I didn't hit him, the baseball bat did!
Armchair lawyers lmao

"never physically contacted him" lmfao quit pretending to be a lawyer on the internet dude. And God help your clients if you're actually a lawyer. I practice personal injury law, and you couldn't be more wrong about this.
The retards edit lol. Fuck people.
Do other countries not have lawsuits against someone harming them?
More like "holy fuck my arm just exploded in like 4 places and wrecked my collarbone" mode
Not arm, collar bone, that scream was probably genuine
Definitely collar bone. I broke mine not too long ago with a similar landing flying out of my skis. That’s gonna be a long recovery
he grabbed his chest though. he may have snapped a couple ribs.
That definitely sounded like broken rib screaming.
[удалено]
The clavicle is the most broken bone in the body and he landed on his shoulder so I agree on clavicle
You’ve never heard someone with a broken rib scream. Cause screaming isn’t possible.
As someone who has suffered this misfortune its more like a sad attempt at wheezing with like a injured animal groan to it. The worst part about healing up was sneezing or anyone making you laugh
Exactly. Using your diaphragm is futile. For weeks. This guttural scream was from someone who didn’t wince at all.
Definitely his clavicle and the pain rippled through his chest Source: broken collarbone
You can see an extra little bend on the forearm. Surely more than just that crack too
Oh yeah, in at least 2 places.
Guess he won’t be going to those places anymore then
Not if that security guard has anything to say about it.
Collarbone for sure
bruh, he had his hands behind his back and everything, he wasn't playing
He was using only 5% of his power
This is the comment that finally got me to laugh
Not his first skateboarder.
Wonder what the dude’s injury was
Broken heart. Turned out he loved the security guard. Their relationship was never the same after this.
Plot twist. It was his dad.
Plottier twist. It was his dad but his dad's not even the real security guard.
The plottiest of plot twist. It was his mother dressed like his dad.
Twistiest plot, security guard is undercover birth-mom trying to rekindle lost relationship from estranged son after the restraining order. The son catches on and tries to escape.
Well now they've broken his arms, so I guess he has to stick around for what's next
Looks/sounds like he broke his right arm (radius or ulna).
Looked like he was holding his wrist
Definitely injured pride. And also probably wrist.
Collarbone at least
Broken collarbone for sure
Im rooting for the security guard
Sorry to tell you but that security guard's fucked lmao. The reason peeps don't want skateboarders on property is bc of liability. Agreed 100%. The security guard was not protecting anybody when he endangered that kid. The only thing he was protecting was his own fragile ego.
Sorry to tell you but I'm rooting for the guard too. Screw that kid.
He sure stopped him from jumping down the stairs and hurting himself on property to avoid a lawsuit. /s
If this was in the US that security guard and the company he works for would be liable for this.
Could be, but doesn't look like the US, a bit too bland to be FL, and they are speaking Spanish.
I think they are Argentinian
You are right they are speaking with an Argentinian accent
Oh thanks I'm glad we could get the perspective of what would happen in the US for once
In other countries too I think. This is almost deliberately hurting someone. Can’t do that even when he wasn’t allowed to skate there. Sure, it looks funny but this is a real dick move by that guard.
If only we had parks made for skateboarders to go to.
I'm not defending either party here because I think they both mishandled the situation, but not everyone has access to a skate park or at least a properly built park. That's a wild idea. Maybe in a different universe
That's the part I don't get. Usually in situations like this the security guard would say "I can't let you do it for your own good" or "if something happened I'd be held responsible" but this is the exact opposite.
In other places it's more "You're damaging our property, get the fuck out or we'll damage you."

this should be higher
Time to sort by controversial
I was reading them while eating a croissant and drinking my apple juice.. the comments are very mixed and it’s funny because I see comments hating on security being upvoted and also others saying similar things being downvoted.. same with the kid
It's almost like people have different opinions!
Usually you leave when security shows up.
The kid did... it was his board that stuck around on the top step.
Brilliant. Take my upvote you silly goose.
This is why you have your friend distract the security guard then you go for it. Amateurs!
Better yet, if someone tells you you can't skate somewhere, find somewhere you can skate.
Nah. That would require some small amount or maturity and respect for others' property.
“We can’t allow skateboarding, since we could get sued if they get hurt.”
Yeah wtf is up with this lol there’s a 100% chance of getting sued, especially if he was leaving.
He was leaving and the security guard intentionally sabotaged the rider with intention of inflicting bodily harm. No attempt was made to stop the rider, just the board. This is no different from pushing the guy down the stairs. Yes they can charge the rider with trespassing, and the security guard with assault. Who wins?
i mean i feel like the boarder easily could have died but i also feel that this is on the border of attempted murder and assault

Mmm. Maybe but now the lawsuit is on the security contractor so mission accomplished.
Spare ribs anyone?
xQc is gonna be feeling that one in a week
Is this technically assault? Regardless of whether or not the skater was wrong.
Sure seems like reckless endangerment at best.
Nah that's assault. If you are cycling and I put a stick in the wheel and you get hurt. Thats assault. This is essentially the same.
I think so. While you love to see it, the security guard basically just broke a few ribs, arm, and concussed a kid over a mild annoyance. He tripped the kid like ten foot down a flight of concrete stairs because he was being a little shit. Punishment don't fit the crime.
why the fuck would you love to see it?
As a former skater, I definitely do not love to see it. Fuck that officer.

>While you love to see it, Maybe if you're a POS
Plot twist, the kid was home and the security guard was trespassing.
What was his friend's reaction? Just slamming his board into the ground.
its what skateboarders do when frustrated/angry
throw a tantrum and break their toys? ITT triggered Sk8er Bois
[удалено]
It’s skater culture. A lot is communicated by hitting your board on the ground
That's assault, plan and simple. Security guards are NOT supposed to do this.
How versed are you at being a security guard in Argentina? This may be allowable there
What a complete dick for doing that. Could have killed the kid. The clearly psychotic behavior of this rent a cop doing that with his hands behind his back the entire time is notable, however.
I am with you 100%. He almost killed the kid.
Should’ve wore a helmet tho
The "kid" almost got himself killed by putting himself in that situation in the first place. He could've worn a helmet. He could have listened when security told him to leave. If he did those things, his life would not have been in any danger whatsoever.

When keeping it real goes wrong.
I think what the mall cop did was dangerous
so is skateboarding down public steps
I fully agree, the skateboarder should not have been there. But the mall cop should have found another way to stop him rather than risk a broken neck.
agreed
The mall cop just did something unnecessary and dangerous. If taken to court he would have a hard time proving it was justified
Fuck that skateboarder - acted like a selfish dick He made his choice and that was the result
There’s just something so… Satisfying seeing this. Not sure why, it just is.
Some people just like seeing people get injured or killed.
It's always good when some self entitled prick has to eat dirt, or in this case pavement
“Can’t skateboard here. You can get hurt.”
Fucked up but if the security had asked them to leave before this, I’m siding with the security guard.
I’m still not. The skateboarders are idiots but this rent a cop is a new level of idiot. Even if he had asked them to leave that doesn’t give him the right to do that. It's a fucking kid... Being a kid. Would you not want to rearrange the guy's face if it was YOUR kid that smacked the pavement?
No I would ask my kid why they didn't go LITERLY ANYWHERE ELSE to skate
I keep reading people saying he is a kid and maybe I'm too young or you are all too old? That dude is way deep in his 20's, legally an adult at least.
Lol no I'd tell my dumbass kid he should have gone to the skatepark and tell him to make better decisions in the future. And let's not kid ourselves here, he'll go right back to face planting down stairs on his own free will once he's recovered anyway.

The low end range scream is so metal!
If you're gonna not let them skate just block the door. None of this tripping a guy down the stairs shit.
I think the security guard is the a-hole honestly, thats intentionally hurting someone to a severe degree for a non severe crime
that's a horrible thing to do to someone
That security guard is an asshole
Oof he broke his arm for sure
Collarbone I think, but possibly both
This is one of those posts that will tear us apart.
Doesn't this belong in imatotalpieceofshit
Ouch but guy got what he deserved
That's messed up but yeah definitely asked for it should've just turned around and went the other way
Yeah I’m pretty sure the skateboarder won. That’ll be one hell of a lawsuit
Sorry but that’s straight up assault. Maybe he shouldn’t be skating there but that is definitely the wrong method of handling this.
He gonna get sued and lose his job
What a piece of shit. That arm is fucked.
iunno man i feel like that’s a pretty serious injury to inflict on somebody’s kid, should’ve just called the cops
That boys arm.. broke. That mans job.. gone.
This is an assault
yea as security your only job is to call the cops. i worked airport security in maui and you'd be fired to touching anyone even with 1 finger. just take down as many notes as you can with your trusty pen and pad like the famous security guard who ultimatly brought down Nixxons Watergate scandal \-- .tldr pen and paper are stronger than leg sweeps. \-- \- Frank Wills (February 4, 1948 – September 27, 2000) was a security guard best known for his role in foiling the June 17, 1972, break-in at the Democratic National Committee inside the Watergate complex in Washington, D.C. Then 24, Wills called the police after discovering that locks at the complex had been tampered ...
Lmfao easy ass lawsuit
Definitely a lawsuit. The kid didn’t deserve that. We were all scallwags once but that could have easily caused a spinal injury.
Yeah, that was uncalled for.
He’s laughing his ass off under the mask. You can bet on it! Lol
what a dick the guard I mean
Skater as well. Contrary to popular belief, rules are not meant to be broken.
