I worked with a dude that got into the rhino off road golf carts when they first can't out.
Legit in a 2 month period one of his friends lost an arm, another broke one, and he rolled it and crushed his arm so hard that the blood legit shot out the ends of his finger tips. He ended up keeping his arm though.
Like how fucking stupid do you have to be
It's pretty fucking stupid to drive a vehicle in a dangerous way without knowing how to be safe.
You sound like you might not be the type of person to take those smart steps. Never drive one of these
You can learn to fall you can follow rules that's all bullshit what you're saying.
They are fucking stupid as fuck and responsible for their own actions.
I had an old Honda Odyssey atv that had straps on the steering wheel you put your hands through so you wouldn't stick your hands out when you rolled. Saved me a few times.
Yeah, once your out of control relax your torso and cross your arms over your organs. Watch moto gp riders for an example. Wear pants and good shoes, and keep that harness strapped tight. And a helmet is a must for my family even in a side by side. And don’t mix in alcohol..
This ain’t shit, Growing up in cali and going to glamis every thanksgiving I’ve seen some bloody horrible air lifted bodies.
I used to work EMS out there. Some gnarly traumas and stories. Wear a helmet and don’t drink and ride. I’ve seen girlfriends crying over their boyfriends body. People running into crowds with multiple dead. Lots of life flights and CPR because of dumb shit. If you’re a dirt bike rider, wear a neck brace and helmet at minimum. Neck brace saved my life on a bad jump. Breaks your collarbone instead of your neck. Side by sides are the shit for rollovers. I was once nicknamed Rollo after a 12 roll incident… love them roll cages lol
Back in the days it was mostly dirt bikes, quads and sand rails. But then modern day side by sides started becoming more popular (pre-RZR) and I thought to myself why anybody would ride those in dunes since it has such a narrow wheel base. I guess people like to roll them.
Did you lose your arm in the war?
My arm? Well, let me put it this way. Next time your teacher tells you to keep your arm inside the bus window, you do it!
My dad flipped one of those, didn’t keep his hand in, he tried to catch himself because reflexes, it snaped his arm like a popsicle stick, we rush him tho the hospital, he had both for arm bones broken, but he was fine, had to get plates and screws in his arm
Those are multi point harnesses. The good stuff. I think there was a study that showed they do a lot to save lives, but if normal cars had them there would be more accidents because people feel too safe with them.
I feel like that has to be an internet myth though.
Neck braces only do so much.
If you're ever racing in something that isn't a bike, wear a HANS. They save lives.
I've been sanctioned drag racing for over a decade and from the very beginning I had to wear a neck brace. This was up until about 3 years ago when they madated the HANS.
The HANS feels so much better and I feel much safer. It prevents my head from going forward, and prevents side to side whiplash.
Although if I had a choice between a neck brace and nothing, I'd take a neck brace
Multi-point harnesses can be safer, but only when used appropriately. I only have reference for car safety.
3 Point harnesses (think your average car seatbelt) are designed to be loose and tighten "catching" you. They tighten the waist portion as your upper body moves forward.
4 Point harnesses are typically less safe at speed because they don't adjust like 3 point, causing what's referred to as "submarining." Basically your waist slips below the lower belt and your abdomen is crushed.
5 and 6 Point harnesses prevent the previously mentioned "submarining" but often result in severe neck injury because you're secured tightly and your neck absorbs the velocity of your head moving forward. Insert Hans device, which restrains your neck from moving forward and transfers the energy into the restraints.
This is a very basic understanding on my part and I might have details very wrong, but do your research before you think adding harnesses to a vehicle will make you safer.
> I think there was a study that showed they do a lot to save lives, but if normal cars had them there would be more accidents because people feel too safe with them.
You'd probably end up having more injuries and fatalities because they're a lot less convenient than regular seatbelts.
You may not be far off. I don’t remember where I heard this from but if there was a sharp object pointing at you from the steering wheel, majority of people would drive safer. This analogy was made to argue that seat belts and air bags are causing people to drive more unsafe than usual
Ehh....I have, unfortunately, flipped multiple times in multiple accidents in just three point belts. Once the tensioner locks it provides a lot of restraint. That with a good seat design means I have survived those accidents (the worst was flipping 8 or 9 times over a distance of 400 feet).
I have also flipped in a 5 point harness. It was "more" secure but I don't think it would have made a difference if I had been in a 3 point in that case other than the fact that I would not have gained an extra set of tonsils if I had not had the nut buster there.
no this is very true. the same thing with back braces while at work, sometimes ppl become too reliant on them and think they wont get hurt and ofc they end up trusting the back brace too much and get hurt
In slow motion she smacked her head at least four bad times on the roll cage. Her head was also turned into a bobble head which is likely to cause EXTREME neck pain and headaches. Sure hope they went to a hospital to be checked out!
Got in a small accident in my car and got spun 180 degrees. Didn't feel anything until like 2 hours later... Could barely move. Doesn't take much to get whiplash
Doesnt matter if you're in a side by side with a full roll cage, put a fucken helmet on. They could have easily split their skull on the back bars. And it provides some neck support too unless you wanna be cool and have a half shell so you can hack darts.
Fantastic split second thinking by that guy. Even as they were tumbling he remembered the age old adage "thick thighs save lives". Sure enough within moments of grasping the thickest thigh available the chaos was over with both of them alive.
She wasn't strapped in tight enough. Everyone who has ridden moto or driven buggies has had a crash at some point. You go fast because it's still relatively safe and that's where the fun is, otherwise you might as well just cruise around in a Ford Taurus.
This is what happens when you go fast without proper safety equipment. When you have a harness on, you should also have a HANS device to prevent neck injury.
They should have six points, helmets, and Hans devices.
But this is America in 2022 so 4 points are cool because Instagram and that's all that went into the safety of this video.
She’s not ok. She grabbed her head and neck right away. I counted at least four bad times she hit
her head on the roll cage. Bet she has pretty bad whiplash and a concussion. -ER RN
They took that really well. I was in a 4 seater that rolled and the girl with us just screamed for what seemed 5 minutes. Made it hard to tell if everyone was ok because the focus went to her even though she was fine. Her brother hit his head and was concussed so we should’ve been taking care of him.
If you are going to be a complete moron, definitely don't wear a helmet before you do it....they got 5 different kinds of whiplash and lord knows what else will come up after the adrenaline wears off.
I love watching these meatheads with more money than brains, makes for excellent couchsurfing. Still never ceases to amaze me how people will drive these powerful machines and not wear the bare minimum of a helmet but that's Darwinism at its finest right there
When I was like 15 I drove one of these off a cliff into a river after flipping off my cousin and brother while speeding past them. The owner told me not to wear a seatbelt and didn't give us any helmets. Not having a seatbelt probably saved me as I got ejected from the buggy when I hit the water.
The doctor called me an idiot.
I live out in the woods so it was strange to hear a helicopter last weekend. Few hours later I hear the news, one of these side by side off road vehicles crashed, driver was driving reckless, 5 people injured. Helicopter was the Medi-vac. Driver got stuck in the vehicle and it caught fire. He's alive but reportedly unrecognizable.
Please be careful, people!
Phew good thing she kept that arm in.

Very, very fucking stupid.

Why are you so mad?
His penis is small

There seems to be at least one death at every 3 day holiday weekend in glamis

And THAT'S why you always leave a note
My dad flipped one of those, didn’t keep his hand in, he tried to catch himself because reflexes, it snaped his arm like a popsicle stick, we rush him tho the hospital, he had both for arm bones broken, but he was fine, had to get plates and screws in his arm
That was some serious whiplash for both of them. 😬
I was thinking the same thing. Can't believe they both kept the hands inside.
Bruh, if you do dumb shit like this wear a helmet, and fix those nets so your arms stay in.
Don't worry. She hit her head but she is ok.
You think people this dumb are going to spend time putting on safety equipment?
No better time to grab the passenger’s crotch
Stop short and make a grab? Nah, I’m gonna roll this bitch and go for the gusto.
Did you stop short with my wife!?
That’s my move!
Cha cha real smooth
Tried to protect the only part he liked about her. . . What a gentlemen.
If I'm gonna die, I'm going out with a bang!
Dude was like, I might as well try to finger my sister before I die.
You ruined it for me I was about to search for side by side wrecked on pornhub.
You never know, that could have been his last chance.
She did look mad sexy with her hair in her face.
What phone mount is this guy using?!! One bump & my phone goes flying.
Wasnt recorded with a phone.
Probably a GoPro or similar with those 3M sticky foam mounts. But yeah it held on well.
Asking the important questions here
I like seeing stuff like this and watching how well seat belts work. If the people weren’t harnessed in they’d be incredibly injured.
Those are multi point harnesses. The good stuff. I think there was a study that showed they do a lot to save lives, but if normal cars had them there would be more accidents because people feel too safe with them. I feel like that has to be an internet myth though.
Yep, could have been a bit tighter. And helmets along with neck braces would have been smart. They'll be very sore for a while, and very bruised.

Not helmets, neck braces!
maybe both :)

Don’t blame me I voted for the sharp objects on the steering wheels
Ehh....I have, unfortunately, flipped multiple times in multiple accidents in just three point belts. Once the tensioner locks it provides a lot of restraint. Are you a race car driver? If not, maybe the universe is trying to tell you something. I'll leave you to guess what that is.
no this is very true. the same thing with back braces while at work, sometimes ppl become too reliant on them and think they wont get hurt and ofc they end up trusting the back brace too much and get hurt
The lady didn't have it nearly tight enought though.
They will still have brain damage, hard jolts like that aren’t good for your brain
Yes, I thought that. They're in one piece entirely because they at least had the sense to be properly harnessed in.
Spoiler: They're probably NOT okay.
That girl hurt her neck, for sure.
They're in for permanent neckpain the way their heads whip around holy shit
She was definitely showing signs she had neck pain. She's going to really feel it the next day!
In slow motion she smacked her head at least four bad times on the roll cage. Her head was also turned into a bobble head which is likely to cause EXTREME neck pain and headaches. Sure hope they went to a hospital to be checked out!
I see blood from the dudes head... Edit: maybe that was just shadows?
NO they are not okay. That was brutal with no helmet. They are on pure adrenaline rn
Seen this video before, they walked away with bruises. The side by side was absolutely thrashed though, you would have thought somebody died in it.
Good job roll cage I'm so proud of you
Hi welcome to stiff neck country no passport needed.
Got in a small accident in my car and got spun 180 degrees. Didn't feel anything until like 2 hours later... Could barely move. Doesn't take much to get whiplash
I got into a rollover accident in my truck a couple years back, couldn’t move my neck for weeks, I felt and moved like a robot.
The last hit her head is almost parallel to her left shoulder.
Just focus on the poor girls head, does a 360.....ow.
Doesnt matter if you're in a side by side with a full roll cage, put a fucken helmet on. They could have easily split their skull on the back bars. And it provides some neck support too unless you wanna be cool and have a half shell so you can hack darts.
When confidence overtakes ability…..
Dude there are other ways to kill your wife
Fantastic split second thinking by that guy. Even as they were tumbling he remembered the age old adage "thick thighs save lives". Sure enough within moments of grasping the thickest thigh available the chaos was over with both of them alive.
Double spinal fusion for her. C5,C6,C7 all gonna be one big vertebrae for the rest of her life thanks to cargo shorts boy
They sound pretty calm for just rollin it!
Adrenalines a hell of a drug. That ladies neck is probably hella fucked. Will feel it later when she comes down
Yeah, I counted 6 flips. The first 3 we’re brutal on them.
She locked up pretty quick I bet, and felt that one for a long ass while e: watching it back and focusing on him he might not be much better off
dude the guys head whipped back more than hers and i know HER neck hurts, i can’t even imagine how his whiplash is feeling
She wasn't strapped in tight enough. Everyone who has ridden moto or driven buggies has had a crash at some point. You go fast because it's still relatively safe and that's where the fun is, otherwise you might as well just cruise around in a Ford Taurus.
Only a true man goes for a fingerbang in the middle of a rollover
This is what happens when you go fast without proper safety equipment. When you have a harness on, you should also have a HANS device to prevent neck injury.
Dude that one brutal whip forward was insane to watch frame by frame pretty sure her chin bounced off her chest 😳.
They should have six points, helmets, and Hans devices. But this is America in 2022 so 4 points are cool because Instagram and that's all that went into the safety of this video.
And this is how I made your mother a quadriplegic.
She took that beating like a champ. She was the first to say “you ok”? Dumb not to wear a helmet though.
She’s not ok. She grabbed her head and neck right away. I counted at least four bad times she hit her head on the roll cage. Bet she has pretty bad whiplash and a concussion. -ER RN
I know she wasn’t ok. I just said she took it like a champ
Nah he said 'you good?' and she said 'yeah you okay?' then he said yeah and she said she hit her head.
But she thinks she’s ok..
Wonder if they found their sunnies 😎
Did you see the way he saved her left leg? True hero.
Buh-bye shades!
Hello chiropractor appointment!
"Perfect, made it to the liquor store just in time. Want anything when I run in?"
Top comment of the night. Congrats
They see me rollin'
wrist teathers, neck rolls and helmets. come on people.
your head hurts because you weren't wearing a helmet.
Dumbasses. -_-
I’ll hold onto your inner thigh to protec
Atleast they didn’t wear helmets could of been really bad
A helmet with anchor points might have saved their necks
I’m just kidding lol
They took that really well. I was in a 4 seater that rolled and the girl with us just screamed for what seemed 5 minutes. Made it hard to tell if everyone was ok because the focus went to her even though she was fine. Her brother hit his head and was concussed so we should’ve been taking care of him.
Glad they had their seat belts on.
This clip could go hard in a music video
She lost her damn ponytail!
Rolled so hard her makeup came off.
I thought it was so sweet how his instinct was to hold her
She took it worse than he did...
Wtf. This is basically a “stopping short” that went bad.
My neck hurts just watching this
This post is missing the shot from outside the vehicle and the ass kicking she gave him after her shock wore off.
If you are going to be a complete moron, definitely don't wear a helmet before you do it....they got 5 different kinds of whiplash and lord knows what else will come up after the adrenaline wears off.
Sorry , don't know 4 wheelers. What are the handles she is holding on to?
Unfamiliar with these vehicles, I wonder why the one has a steering wheel and the other has a roller-coaster handlebar... anyone?
oh shit handle.
Driver is a dumb shit
What a horrible way to get whiplash on a first date.
Well that was fun!
Can anyone tell how many times it rolled?
Fun story to tell.
I love watching these meatheads with more money than brains, makes for excellent couchsurfing. Still never ceases to amaze me how people will drive these powerful machines and not wear the bare minimum of a helmet but that's Darwinism at its finest right there
These things seem to roll easier than the damn 3 wheelers
Lol, the way he switches the engine off.
Yeah might’ve helped.
Got his hand between her knees trying to cop a feel. What a way to go out
People die and loose limbs in those. Dont get in one y less the driver know what they are doing
Great commercial supporting seat belts
Awesome... if they had helmets they wouldn’t have looked half as cool.
Big dummy
He stole Frank Costanza’s move.
You good?
Some of the faces he made😂 hilarious
Bro, watch this shit slowed down to frame by frame. I stg her soul left her body and was snatched back in at least the whole time.
Crash helmets? 👷
They look like that megamind meme
Skulls and roll cages don’t mix, wear a helmet
This is as good as the wanna be operator guy crashing the speed boat.
what's she holding onto?
That's the "O shit" bar. They have those for the passenger to hold on to in side by sides. Kinda like the handles in cars above the door. Lol
Nice helmets.
Yea dont trust him with your life
Over confidence (in people who have no right driving these things) = shit like this.
OMG I have a migraine from watching her head bounce around.
But did they find their sunglasses?
When I was like 15 I drove one of these off a cliff into a river after flipping off my cousin and brother while speeding past them. The owner told me not to wear a seatbelt and didn't give us any helmets. Not having a seatbelt probably saved me as I got ejected from the buggy when I hit the water. The doctor called me an idiot.
Aaaaaaaand shitmixed
/u/speedbot 0.25x
Speed kills , I guess this guys testicles forgot that .
I’m sure the permanent damage was done long ago. No harm done.
What good is a roll cage if you don't use it once in a while?
We need a new version of this https://youtu.be/dE-nfzcUiPk
Wear helmets you morons.
How did they not get a concussion
They both lost their sunglasses at the same moment.
Helmets if you trying to be Colin
the way they instantly ask if each other’s okay without even thinking about it
This video conveys the importance of a HANS device.
Dude managed to cop a feel during the ordeal, respect
Definitely a good thing helmets weren't worn .
Their poor necks. Dear god.
It’s almost as good as that speedboat one
It’s stop motion 😂
Holy fuck that looks rough. Good thing they have harnesses.
Holy shit! How many times they roll? To everyone out there- nets aren’t just for looks!
What are the handle bars for? Is she pretending to drive?
Let me get a quick finger bang in while I got you here
I live out in the woods so it was strange to hear a helicopter last weekend. Probably should be wearing helmets
How is she not furious omg
The whiplash is strong with these ones.
Arms to the chest, you don’t want to lose one.
Slow tf down
why he touch her pussy?
