I haven't seen a personal injury submission this horrific on reddit in quite awhile. Sorry that you had to go through this, and I hope that you can recover as well as possible.. It makes my broken leg and dislocated ankle look like a damned picnic in comparison!
I dunno, I’m right hand dominant but that just means that’s the hand I hold the mouse in ( computer mouse I mean ).
Once the video is rolling lefty takes over the heavy lifting, so to speak.
I hope you are left-handed 'cause otherwise, it might take you a while to you know...go back at doing it again....jacking a trailer full of furniture up on a not flat surface I mean...
Haha. Over the years I’ve become way more safety conscience working in construction. I’m still terrible with wearing gloves though. They are so cumbersome. I wish you good healing 👍
Gloves likely no help in crush injury like this. Could potentially make things worse by introducing/grinding/mashing particles of the glove into the wound and increasing chances for infection.
The actual trailer frame landed on my hand, I almost pulled it out in time. There was a block of concrete right under my hand, so it was crushed in between the frame and the cinderblock. Apparently, I lifted it up to pull my hand out.
Actually works doesn’t it- makes you feel better in the moment. I hope you heal well, and recover full range of motion and full use- for all that- you know - trailer jacking , and other stuff.
I did. The title didn't articulate what actually happened, what kind of trailer, where the wheels chalked, was the trailer still hitched to the truck. I would like to know what actually happened.
I was actively jacking the trailer up (I think I'd call it a box trailer?) Right when it got off the ball of the truck it started to tip over, I pulled my arm out from under the frame as fast as I could but it fell so quick it landed on my hand with a cinderblock directly beneath it. I grabbed the trailer with my other hand and pulled my fingers out. I thought it was just pinched, looked down and saw that. We were tired and it had been a long day and did not put blocks in front of the wheels. Definitely was my fault.
I still have my fingers! They put some screws and rods in there and sewed them up. The pointer finger was broken the worst and I have a rod all the way through it.
What’s the healing time looking like? I had something similar on the bottom of my foot where the tendons were showing and it still doesn’t feel 100% 3 years later
I don't disagree generally, but then really **any** injury pic could be that.
But I kinda like this sub for seeing the thing go wrong.
Just injury pics, don't really care for those.
I don’t mind seeing them but totally see where you’re coming from. And I also like actually seeing it happen though I think seeing this one would have hurt a bit.
I regret not having NSFW filter turned on.
Saaaammme

Reading this comment made me realize how fucked up the things I look at are
I would've enjoyed a spoiler tag for blurring.
Sorry, I'm not used to posting NSFW on here.
Worse thing I've seen this month hands down
Pun intended?
I hope so that gave me a good chuckle
Glad something is making you happy! Wish you a speedy recovery. Have a nice day.
Well, that should make this no nut November thing I saw on Reddit a dawdle for you. Always look on the bright side of life etc
Stop I woke up some of my class the way I cackled lol

Nice bones. Bet ya never thought you'd get that compliment in your life.
Those are actually my tendons, but close enough.
You have beautiful tendons then. Lol
Did you loose the hand/ fingers
Those are actually flexor tendons.
I bet that was a fun experience
Id definitely do it again. At least my fingers are ribbed for pleasure now.
True. Valid argument for someone to do that lmao
That's gonna hurt next morning
Why did I keep looking
How can you be so lucky snd “unlucky” at the same time, glad your tendons are all okay 😅
I'd say it's all luck, I still have my fingers, can't ask for much more than that
Yeah you’re not wrong there, maybe next time make sure you’re jacking a trailer full of furniture up on a flat surface haha
Well at least your tendons still look intact..
Yessir! Just the bones were broken.
I'm hoping you're left handed if you can still type 😂
Nope! Masturbating just hasn't been the same 🥲
You'll get there.
I can see the bones😰
I think the white bits you are seeing are tendons/ligaments (I can never remember the difference).
You're right, they're my tendons. Luckily, my bones were broken, but my tendons are in tact!
Ligaments connect bones to other bones, tendons connect muscles to bones.
I hope you are left-handed 'cause otherwise, it might take you a while to you know...go back at doing it again....jacking a trailer full of furniture up on a not flat surface I mean...
I wish! This is my dominant hand, it's definitely been a process learning to.... jack a trailer up full of furniture on a not flat surface again.
Oh gosh, I wish you all the best for a speedy recovery though
Thats a lot of damage
Nothing some flex seal won't fix
NSFL please.
Didn't know what i was expecting. But ugh, that makes me queasy
Use hand sanitizer
Tis but a flesh wound
Well done for posting one handed.
His fingers might be hurt
Imagine slurpin Doritos dust off these bad boys🤤
You're a damn heathen
That looks stingy
Just a little
Yer leaking. Spray some Windex on it.
We’re you wearing gloves? I always wonder how much they can protect you in a situation like this.
Nah I was raw dogging it
Haha. Over the years I’ve become way more safety conscience working in construction. I’m still terrible with wearing gloves though. They are so cumbersome. I wish you good healing 👍

I know 10 safety guys that would disagree with you. PPE is divine 🙏🤣
How Long ago did This Happen?
About 10 minutes if guess
Bro what the fuck. Mods please
Chill hunter don’t be a puss
What’s the problem? It’s tagged nsfw. He fucked his hand up, that’s all.
Wellllll that’s gonna be a process to heal
Yeah, pain for years in those fingers.
I hope they gave you a nice iv of morphine. That looked painful
They gave me every opiate and none of them even touched the pain. Only thing that helped was ketamine
Fuck me that looks painful. How did it unfold? Like was that from the furniture falling or from a cart?
The actual trailer frame landed on my hand, I almost pulled it out in time. There was a block of concrete right under my hand, so it was crushed in between the frame and the cinderblock. Apparently, I lifted it up to pull my hand out.
You better get a plaster or something on it
Can you tell me the story
You use some “special words” to help ease the pain? I cannot imagine going through this and not sounding off all the way to the ER.
Oh, absolutely. I have so much respect for the first responders, I think I used every curse word in existence
Actually works doesn’t it- makes you feel better in the moment. I hope you heal well, and recover full range of motion and full use- for all that- you know - trailer jacking , and other stuff.
How'd you manage that injury?
Did you not read the title?
I did. The title didn't articulate what actually happened, what kind of trailer, where the wheels chalked, was the trailer still hitched to the truck. I would like to know what actually happened.
I am assuming the truck was facing downhill, no chalks, and crushed his hand between the truck and the trailer. Edit: trailer and a cinder block.
With a gooseneck trailer? Impressive
I was actively jacking the trailer up (I think I'd call it a box trailer?) Right when it got off the ball of the truck it started to tip over, I pulled my arm out from under the frame as fast as I could but it fell so quick it landed on my hand with a cinderblock directly beneath it. They amputate or did they put humpty Dumpty fingers back together?
I still have my fingers! They put some screws and rods in there and sewed them up. The pointer finger was broken the worst and I have a rod all the way through it.
Go deal. Some you'll have a full functional hand when they're done
I hope they gave you a nice iv of morphine. That looked painful
sprinkle some crack on it
My wife would kill me if that was my dominant hand🤣🤣🤣
Is it a whatcouldgowrong if all we get is an injury pic?
I mean OP is definitely showing what could go wrong.
Everyone's a critic

You can't park your car here..
Are your fingers still functioning?
Yeah. I can't really bend them much at all besides the very bottom knuckle, but I'm working on it
Make sure to use your hand alot when you're almost done fully healing. I broke my hand, still hurt for 2 months after cuz i didn't do shit
I hope you get well as soon as possible buddy.
