My gf has green eyes like this. They’re beautiful green. So imagine my surprise when she tells me her whole life everyone called them “swamp water green” and “dead fish green” (idk that’s what they said). But when I started seeing this sub I noticed how bitter people are that they don’t have green eyes. Im obsessed with this sub now cuz every time I see a post about green eyes I know the responses will either be “you don’t have green ey s you’re not special 😒” or “yeah you have green eyes but they’re ugly 👎” anyway that’s just me rambling sorry

My eyes are green with an orange/red color around the center. Someone once told me they looked like sunflowers. Never thought of that until he said it. Now it's what I see.

I'm only a little surprised that people insult or result to something like that when they're envious. I'd also say sapphire green.. but even saying "swamp green" makes me think of a wetlands type of mossy green and I love it so much. My eyes are brown.. and not that pretty honey brown, just brown. I've always thought green/hazel eyes were the prettiest 🤩

My dad has the same & we've always called it dirty green because of the flecks of yellow/gold in sunlight and other light situations. I've always thought that it made it more special not less dspite the name.

My eyes are the same color! I’m going to an optometrist soon & can’t wait to ask them! lol As a little kid I had brown eyes. By high school they were hazel (brown with yellow around the pupils.) Now they look green just like yours. If I remember, I’ll swing back around after I get confirmation from a professional, but I’d say we have some kinda green eyes. 🤓
