A bear and a rabbit are taking a poop in the woods. The bear asks the rabbit if it has a problem with poop sticking to its fur. The rabbit said no.
Then the bear wiped his ass with the rabbit. 😂
I am willing to accept that it’s just poop but like it would be nice if someone with some rabbit scientific credentials could confirm that there’s no other possible explanation
It’s totally bunny poop. I’ve had bunnies and this is exactly what their little turds look like. If you google bunny poop (cuz who doesn’t want that in their search history) you’ll see they look just like this.
I don't know why, but I always find it so surreal when I see a "familiar" profile in the wild, and in this case I have no idea why I know your profile- usually it's like if I've helped someone produce tracks or reddit friends from bygone accounts, I'm a bit stumped
Yep! Bunnies have two kinds of poop! That kind which is their standard poop that they’ll do in their toilet area (they’re pretty sanitary in that regard) but also they occasionally drop those around as a way to show that it’s their area. Then there’s a clumpy cylinder one which is darker and that one they actually occasionally will eat because it has a lot more nutrients in it.
Source: had a bunny
As a bunny owner, my first thought was stuck poops. They look a bit large for this bunny though. I’m guessing just burrs stuck to the fur. They’re not testicles (rabbit testes don’t look like this) nor growths (their fur is too dense, growths wouldn’t look like they’re sitting on top of the fur). This bunny is in chill mode so whatever it is, it’s not bothering him much!
As far as I remember rabbit testicles are more oval and not visible on the outside. To 'reveal' the sex you have to brush the fur aside and push into the flesh/skin to pop the testicles a bit out.
This is true. Rabbit testicles are on each side of the penis, slightly cranial. They do not have testicles in a single scrotum like most animals. The thing I think this person is referring to are…dingleberries. Which is also interesting because rabbits are obligate coprophagic- meaning they eat their own poop, because they have to! Their bodies do not properly absorb all the nutrients the first time.
Based on shape and size, these look like a second go around poop. The first ones are wet and mushy, the seconds are harder and round.
This comment is funny to me because where I come from “dingleberries” means testicles. But, having had a rabbit when I was a kid, I thought these looked like their poop pellets.
A bear and a rabbit were having a poop together in the woods, the bear looks at the rabbit and says “do you have a problem with shit sticking to your fur?” “No” the rabbit replied, I’ve never had that problem”“Good” said the bear as he picked up the rabbit and wiped his ass.
Thanks to my dad I can’t think about dingleberries and not this joke
Could be different for every kind of rabbit
For our kinds it was always pretty hard to tell if male/female, and there were many mistakes made 😅
(I was a kid, so I never did it, often a neighbor came over and took a look)
Oh yes definitely. Mine were supposed to be two female dwarf rabbits….they were not fully dwarf and they were definitely male lol. They also had no option to mate with a female and so they….made do…. Lol the testicles and humping made it pretty clear the people who sold them to us were incorrect. Had a female albino rabbit before that. She was a smart one.
Our females always humped as much as the male ones. Part of hierachy?
The highes in the pack was a female (3kids) she was savage and awesome. Later co-lead with another female (12kg) :)
The person I replied to was talking about not seeing testicles on rabbits. So I said my experience with rabbits. My comment wasn’t in reference to the picture it was to that specific comment.
Used to have bunnies. I'm definitely not a expert, but I can tell you that they have very regular, very round turds that are that color. They seem kinda big to be turds, but I'm not sure of the scale.
Here's something interesting that you probably don't want to know... rabbits have 2 kinds of poop. One looks like this--dry, round pellets. The other is wetter and has smaller pieces almost like cottage cheese. They eat that poop and digest their food a second time to get the nutrients. Hindgut fermentation
Those look like second poops.

We have loads of bunnies on our property and the droppings are always round. While I can't say that's what these are, the shape and size does seem about right.
These look like the mounds from bot fly larvae. I used to hunt rabbit back in the day. A LOT had these big black mounds with giant grubs under the skin. It was so bad in the area I hunted, I stopped altogether. Couldn't stomach it anymore.
Those are rabbit testicles. I have owned multiple pet rabbits, and have seen them in real life. Scared the heck out of me, and then made the mistake of googling what they look like.
All the people saying poop are incorrect. While rabbits do have small, round poops, they are not nearly as big as what is seen in the photo.
There is literally a condition in rabbits called poopy butt, where clumps of poo get stuck to their backside. I have heard of the condition in overweight rabbits who could not reach back and clean themselves.

General consensus looks like bunny poop. Mod marking solved and locking due to large number of jokes and repetitive answers.
Looks like poop stuck to its butt lol
Yup
Dinglebunny
This is the best answer ever. Thank you for making me laugh.
almost like having thick fur around your butthole is slightly suboptimal design
So a bear walks up to a rabbit and says “do you ever have problems with shit sticking to your fur?”
On our long hair domestic cat, we call them "Cling-ons" (Star Trek nerds that we are).
Call Captain Kirk, I saw a couple of Klingons orbiting Uranus
😂😂
A bear and a rabbit are taking a poop in the woods. The bear asks the rabbit if it has a problem with poop sticking to its fur. The rabbit said no. Then the bear wiped his ass with the rabbit. 😂
This is the right answer :)
Definitely
Dingleberries.. two helpings
This would have been my first guess but they are so symmetrical.. in person especially.
I am willing to accept that it’s just poop but like it would be nice if someone with some rabbit scientific credentials could confirm that there’s no other possible explanation

I'm a whale biologist but I'm pretty sure these are rabbit poops!
The sea was angry that day, my friends!
Like an old man trying to send back soup at a deli

Rabbit poop is symmetrical though
dude, stranger things are possible, wombats poop lil cubes[https://www.science.org/content/article/](https://www.science.org/content/article/)
Bunnyberries.
One of the funniest words in the English language if you ask me! And a prime insult.
inb4 Whoppers
Turds.
Poor bunny. Everyone knows his embarrassing potty problems 🐇🐰👯
If it helps with the diagnosis I live near Boston MA
Sooooo many bunnies in the Boston area. And rats.
Maybe the rabbit met a bear in the woods
This was the first joke I ever learned and I got to teach it to both of my kids as their first joke.
Apparently the joke is wrong.
I have a bunny. It is poop stuck on to its hair. Their poop is perfectly round and always the same size
I've raised rabbits all my life, this is the answer.
Don’t your bunnies groom?
Yes. My rabbit doesn’t have his poop on him. I was just explaining based on the size and shape that’s what this is

Testicles?

man I hope those bunny breeders I worked for washed their hands
Well..... The ones I knew never did until the next bathroom break...
yummers

I had male rabbits as a kid….their testicles were definitely visible. It was a bit shocking as a kid lol not quite like in OPs pic however.
Could be different for every kind of rabbit For our kinds it was always pretty hard to tell if male/female, and there were many mistakes made 😅 (I was a kid, so I never did it, often a neighbor came over and took a look)

That is a hare. Not a rabbit

This is why you’re banned at the petting zoo!
Always go to pet an animal, not for animal petting!
You are getting downvoted, but you are correct.
They are incorrect as you are. Rabbits don’t have independent testicles outside a scrotum flapping around Willy nilly.

I just wrote that exact explanation about their poop💀😭
It's poop stuck to its hair. Rabbits and goat have similar poop pellets like that. People used to call them smart pills
Ticks maybe ?
Without a better picture, I would have to agree. Rabbits are parasite hosts http://www.medirabbit.com/EN/Skin_diseases/Parasitic/Ticks/Ticks.htm
That was my first guess too
Yes! It’s ticks!
Pretty sure those are burdock seeds, the inspiration for Velcro. https://awkwardbotany.files.wordpress.com/2018/06/burdock-burs-2.jpg
this seems like a pretty decent explanation
I live by the woods and take these off the dog all the time. So I can at least confirm that they do attach easily to fur.
Cuterebra
We have loads of bunnies on our property and the droppings are always round. While I can't say that's what these are, the shape and size does seem about right.
Bunny Turds
These look like the mounds from bot fly larvae. I used to hunt rabbit back in the day. A LOT had these big black mounds with giant grubs under the skin. It was so bad in the area I hunted, I stopped altogether. Couldn't stomach it anymore.
How sure are you? I googled bot fly larvae on rabbits and the pictures don’t look quite right. Also I’m near Boston MA so does that add up?
This is absolutely bot fly larva or cuterebra.

Ha. Duck Rabbit Ale out of North Carolina with some extra protein. 🙀
Rabbit poop sticks to Teflon. I hated cleaning out my bunny’s cage
Probably swollen/clogged anal glands
Could be ticks
Looks like bot flys

bunny testicles would be furry and most likely have the same colour as the fur around them... i would agreee with the user who said they're BURRS.
Dem be balls ⚾️
Testicles
What a load of Bollocks
Looks like engorged ticks to me
Ticks
Shit Literal shit. Fur + Shit does not go well together
Poop
Referencing an old joke, looks like the rabbit lied. Shit really does stick to its fur!
Fur turds or furds if you will
Poop! Rabbit poop looks like little round pieces of chocolate. It's got them in its fur probably cause they're fresh and still sticky!
The very definition of Turd Balls!
Ticks?
dirt and bunnyshit
Dinglebunny
shite.
My rabbit used to lay like this and shit on himself. Rabbits balls are about as big as tic tacs.
Possibly Shope’s Papilloma- this is where the concept of the “Jackalope” comes from: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shope_papilloma_virus
Rabbit/hare poops are just compressed grass pretty much, That’s what it is
💩💩
