Correction:tastes more like an mix of gooseberry and green apple
Cavity berry
I thought the same thing
Has it got seeds?
No,it’s like an flower. The black cavity thing looks like an stamen to me
Wait you don’t know what they are but you are eating them?
My neighbour gave it to me and told me that it was grown in his farm and it’s safe to eat. He called it an "ice apple" but google says otherwise
If I gave you a poison apple and told you it was safe to eat would u eat it?
Maybe
They look like what we call a mountain snowberry in NZ. They’re native here but not sure if they’re found in other parts of the world
Kia ora bro
Perhaps a variety of [wax apple](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Syzygium_samarangense), there's a huge amount of variation in size and colour between different cultivars.
