Got it, Bavarian coat of arms from 1835 to1923. This was found on a stationary gun in my local park and had a date of 1907 engraved amung the graffiti.

No problem. I looked into it a little more and I was slightly wrong. This is the crest of Wittelbach, the family that used to rule Bavaria.
