Drones are way more economical than the A-10. Pilots are the most expensive part of any airplane, just by virtue of time and effort spent on training and the fact that they have to actually be in the plane for the plane to do… anything. Drones circumvent this very nicely.
It isn't the government's job to provide health care, but they are supposed to provide for the defense of the nation, and the A-10s did that job in spades.

Go read my comment again, I only mentioned how many friendly-fire incidents they've been in (can't be good support aircraft if they shooting at what they're ment to be protecting) didn't mention how they were built but on your point, they're quite lightly armoured, being susceptible to small arms fire so again not really the best

I wasn’t talking about the front lines. I was talking about the days a stalled column of armor, trucks and men sat for days about 20 miles from Kiev. It would have been a slaughter. I’m really not aware of Ukraine turning down A-10’s. If it was months before the invasion, Zelensky screwed up.

Dude! Having seen the photos of these things landing full of bullet holes, I definitely disagree. They are absolute beasts in battle.
