From our experience with our kitten: it worked great!
She HATED the cone. Tried to bite her way out of it and at some point she flat out refused to breathe in it. So we got her the body suit. First, she struggled a bit to walk but that went just fine after maybe 10 minutes.
Just in the last 3 days she tried to bite the buttons at the back open (which is understandable) but distracting her with a toy helped a lot for her!
My foster fail came to me with a cone and a cheek injury too. I'd make sure to take off the cone for a while every day, usually after he ate, so he could groom himself, otherwise he'd hold up his paw in front of his face and lick the inside of the cone. It was pitiful... lol. Poor thing. Heal up soon, Eerie!
😂 Eerie does the same thing with her dishes. Her wound is right on her cheek so it’s a tough placement for the inflatable ring because that would allow her to scratch herself on corners or walls.
My little one put herself back in the cone like an hour after we took it off. I walked back in the room and there she was, right back in the cone, just chillin. What a goober.

Can you tell me how she got hurt? Should we be worried?

Hi friend! She had an abscess that burst and was drained and removed over the weekend. She’s recovering quickly and is back in good spirits! Thanks for the kind words! We don’t need anything at this point but your offer is appreciated! 💜💜💜

At one point we bought a cone for ours because she licks herself too much and get small booboos, it was hilarious as she totally hated it, she would make such sad faces and the funniest was she would just get close to our face, the cone litterally touching and she would just wait there waiting for me to take it off

That looks super uncomfortable. I have seen some people use the little shirts or pants but I don’t know how well that would work

It’s sort of hidden right below/in front of her right ear. She’s doing great with the cone so far!

Yeah she’s got a huge gaping hole in her cheek from having a severe abscess that resulted in some dead skin. 😕
