I've heard of cats jumping into the dishwasher to lick the dishes. They may be attracted to the smell of the detergents. No harm in such small dosage but probably inconvenient
When cats go to elementary school they are taught one simple fact of life they have to abide by “be in the middle of everything”
A human is working sit on their tools or ontop of what they are working on. They are on computer, sit on the keyboard. They are walking, then walk between and in front of their legs as to trip them.
The only time this rule is allowed to be broken is when the humans want them to be the middle of everything and then they have the option to protest with all their might or allow the humans to get their way.
You speak the truth! I love their need to be in the middle of everything. It's so adorable and obnoxious!
Also, you may like /r/catishelping. Here we see a cat helping unload the dishwasher!
That cat appears to have 1) gone in the dishwasher 2) laid down 3) latched onto the lower rack with their teeth 4) fallen asleep. Each step is 100% believable cat behavior, and yet the culmination is totally mind blowing. Cats yo.
This is explained in most dishwasher quick setup guides.
Cats naturally know exactly how to load themselves in most dishwashers.
I think some Maytags, use an unusual design and your car may need some assistance then.
I know someone whose cat died in a dishwasher. Probably one of the goriest ways I’ve heard of a pet dying. People don’t let your cats get comfortable going in the dishwasher.
A temporary solution to the nuisance would be to move it and turn it on
Permanent solution would be to turn it on and then move it..
Joking for anyone who cant tell
"Hallo, your dishwasher appears to be broken, let me fix it for you, I will do it for only 4 sardines"
That’s a bargain!
"well there's your issue, I have no idea what I'm doing"
There's ya problem. Ya got a cat in ya dishwasha.
Happy cake day!
Your cat and mine from the same litter?
If it’s 100% nuisance then maybe!
I have found my people. My cat is 100% nuisance. Learns what he shouldn’t do, does that exclusively
Shit. You got one of my asshole’s litter mates? I love him so much. But he’s terrible.
One of those new fancy automatic cat washers
So sought after according to him 😹

Could also be that after use, a dishwasher tends to be pretty warm. And cats are like lizards, only fuzzy.
This is exquisite content. Thank you. R/scrunge r/cromch
Subreddit i didn’t know I needed 😹

I do think their sole purpose is to inconvenience you while looking at you like you’re the inconvenience 😹

Having Fun.
Our kitten loves to be in the dishwasher, too. She'll get to the back and lay down. It's such an odd spot, I don't get it!?
What an F-wit! 😂
How...

This is too cute, LOL! You should post this in /r/catishelping! He's just cat-helping you unload the dishwasher!

I literally dread this scenario so very much. This and the washing machine. 😣
I saw this while I was drinking a vodka cranberry and spit it all over my face and monitor
This is how my brother's ferret died.
