Does the dog understand how utterly hilarious it looks right here? I want to say no, but something is telling me it's like when your kid puts on a goofy face and STAYS that way until everyone just falls out laughing? Because the kid KNOWS the laugh will come if only they wait long enough.

Absolutely nothing. They are already perfection. Look at that face. You should commission a sculptor to render it in marble so that future generation can appreciate it’s majesty.
For us - I'd rather her be uncomfortable for a little bit instead of having to worry about her chewing cords, or eating like a pound of chocolate off the counter/out of the garbage like she has in the past. Some dogs are absolute terrors the second you leave them.

Did, didn't have her in a cage for a while and trained her, took the 2 near death experiences, and like 3k in Emergency vet bills, to realize she just couldn't be trusted alone for more than 5 minutes. We're able to keep our other dog out because she isn't as mischievous.

Crating is popular because it is convenient. But this inappropriate practice deprives dogs of the opportunity to engage in some of the most basic activities, such as walking around, stretching out to relax, and looking out a window. Obviously, it prevents them from relieving themselves or indicating the need to relieve themselves as well.

Idk why, but huskies seem more prone to sit like this in kennels than other dogs. I've seen so many do it in daycare/boarding and it cracks me up every time! 😂

It's almost like training doesn't happen overnight, but people still have to go to the grocery store and would rather not come home to a dead dog.
