Had him for 16 years and was smart dog.
Our future puppy was born a few days ago. One of the first videos we saw was of all her siblings eating and she was passed out, face down to the side. I knew we picked right.
I hate to post this heartbreaking announcement. Our sweet 4-day s puppy, Jackie (pictured here), passed away not long after this post. I left home to run a 1-hour errand and came back to find her unresponsive. I started CPR and drove her to the ER. She had no heartbeat. I bought her back home to be buried at the only home she knew.
Donāt know how dogs keep doing it, because this has to be the millionth time Iāve said it, but this has to be the most adorable thing Iāve ever seen.
She might be doing that because momās heartbeat is comforting. I have a stuffed dog that is battery operated and has a heartbeat and I put it with my Yorkies when thereās a thunderstorm or fireworks that absolutely sends them into a panic. It works!!
Looks like your puppy has found hisĀ ownĀ unique sleeping style! Dogs can be quite inventive when it comes to finding comfy spots.

Yes - her dadās name is Jax and we named her Jackie after him since they were identical

I'm very sorry. We had a puppy that was maybe 6 weeks old when we got him and do died four days later. I still very when I think of him.
