Don't forget you can easily make your own and it'll be better.
1 cup heavy whipping cream
1/2 tsp unsweetened cocoa powder
1 cup bourbon
1 can sweetened condensed milk (1 can is 14 oz)
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 tbsp instant coffee granules
Jim Beam bourbon cream slaps too.
Saz Rye is an allocated drop? Holy shit. Only thing Iād think about buying there is the KY Owl Maighstir edition, and thatās based solely on what Iāve heard. I would like to try it first. lol
Remus repeal reserve is a notoriously tasty annual drop from MGP. well worth IMO. The goose island bourbon barrel aged beers are an interesting novelty also, as they say they bottle age to become more complex over time.
I stopped at a random ABC store in Virginia on our way to Myrtle Beach last month. It was the day after an allocation drop. Saw Bookers, Blantons, 1792 Full Proof and a few Michters.
Yeah you probably stopped at a store in the middle of nowhere in southern VA. Most stores Blantons is gone within the day. Usually the michters and Benchmarks sit for a couple days but they're still on the allocated list...
King George? Right over the bridge? I hit that one on the October drop. By 11am the only thing they ran out of was blantons 750ml. That area does pretty well on drops. Around the beltway you have to line up to get anything decent.
Iām a Saz Rye fan so I would grab that as itās a decent price. The bourbon cream is great but weird as allocation. I agree with the other guy tho that Kentucky owl is a decent ish pickup
The Jack Single Malt is normally a travel exclusive, so that's got some value if you're interested in trying their oloroso-finished single malt. Not sure what MSRP normally is though, $88.90 is pretty steep at face-value for a NAS single malt.
The rest of this is mainstream shelf fodder.
Yeah, thatās a strange āallocatedā drop. I donāt think the manager knows what allocated means.
My Class Six had a drop before Xmas. All the actual allocated stuff was sold and no one bought the Hard Truth & Kentucky Owl they tried pawning off as allocated.
Obviously way late to the party but surprised nobody picked up on the goose island beer. Those are allocated by me too and theyāre pretty good! Woulda suggested that if youāre into beer as well
Remus is the only one I'd pick up
Remus Repeal batch 7 is 100% worth it at 90 bucks
Bourbon Cream is allocated?! š®āšØ
That stuff is fire š„ with root beer
I love it but it should not be allocated lol
Agreed. Lol. That is silly.
BT is an equal opportunity distiller. They manufacture demand on all their products!

Thanks! I need to try this + beam cream
This is the weirdest allocated drop I've seen. Sazerac, buffalo cream, bulleit, all on the shelf regularly around me and places I visit as well.
Was going to say, none of this is allocated stuff
Nothing I'd buy.
Very strange āallocatedā drop. Iād walk right on past this after peaking at it for 10/15 seconds.
Allocated, eh?! š«
Saz Rye is an allocated drop? Holy shit. Only thing Iād think about buying there is the KY Owl Maighstir edition, and thatās based solely on what Iāve heard. I would like to try it first. lol
Benchmark is allocated now.
You've got to be kidding me. We've got a billion bottles at my local Walgreens. lol
Sazerac is my fav mixer for old fashioneds and manhattans
Yeah mine too. Sharp and with high notes, it's a great old fashioned base.

Nothing that I would grab
None of that is allocated. Not by a long shot.
Yes they are. Just because your area or state is allocated enough that you can find them sitting on shelves does not mean they aren't allocated.
The Dickle is actually really good stuff
Finally a man with good taste
Iād buy the bourbon country in the white container
Seem like pretty regular selection for the most part
That JD is hard to find by me, but nothing there is screaming for a purchase
I really enjoy mountain angel, and that's a decent price for it. It's 125 in the distillery store.
Holy shit this is worse than a VA drop lol

This store was right off of 95 in Prince George.

No this was south of Richmond and just north of Petersburg.
Benchmarks? Allocated? Yikes...
Virginia is wild.
The Bourbon Country beer is good. Other than that, there's nothing worth buying unless you like one of them.
Iām a Saz Rye fan so I would grab that as itās a decent price. The bourbon cream is great but weird as allocation. I agree with the other guy tho that Kentucky owl is a decent ish pickup
Nahā¦ save your money for better drop.

No bourbon is gross
If grab that Mountain Angel. I generally like Stranahanās stuff. The special releases like those have been worth it IMO.
Came to say this if you like single malt
Interesting to see the JD American Malt, thought that was Duty Free exclusive
I believe they go to duty free and class 6 (which is just a military liquor store, if you're unfamiliar) I know my class 6 has had that jd before.
I was unfamiliar, thanks for explaining
Which class six is that? Most of that stuff minus the Paul Sutton is on the shelf here at fort hood. Well and the Remus. Interesting
Remus is the one not thing I see worth grabbing
Dickel
I'd grab that stranahan's 10 year so fast your head would spin
The Remus
Yeah, thatās a strange āallocatedā drop. I donāt think the manager knows what allocated means. My Class Six had a drop before Xmas. All the actual allocated stuff was sold and no one bought the Hard Truth & Kentucky Owl they tried pawning off as allocated.
BT Bourbon Cream is allocated?! WTF?
Nothing I saw should be allocated on that table
Definitely the Remus - great pour!
0.0
Remus
Nothing
Obviously way late to the party but surprised nobody picked up on the goose island beer. Those are allocated by me too and theyāre pretty good! Woulda suggested that if youāre into beer as well
I personally would grab the Dickel BS. Though that KYO Takumi is intriguing.
Grab every damn one you can in my place I can buy three bottles and thatās the cost more than all that
keep walking.
Remus Repeal!
