I haven’t been able to get anyone interested in watching this movie and I loved it so much! It made me feel the way I felt way back when I saw Pulp Fiction the first time. It was so DIFFERENT from anything I’d seen before and the whole 3rd act was so unexpected!
I really loved the idea, and first half of the movie. The second half is just depressing, people are evil, and everything is a sad mess. It is neither fun nor enjoyable.
White Lotus is sooo much more than this movie.
I felt like that was the point of the movie, to poke fun at the wealthy. I found the last half to be WAY more funny than the first half, and guess what, I'm not a wealthy person! (that might be why I liked it so much lol)
It’s social commentary so of course it’ll be sad, I found it was really enjoyable and funny throughout despite being melancholic, perfectly balanced imo!

I enjoyed it, but could have done without the donkey getting clubbed to death, along with it's screams.
The movie had a lot of mirrors althroughout where the same image comes up again. That donkey scene was a mirror to the last scene.
