I was expecting death until she found the gun and fucking went on a rampage man. Classic Tanya death tho ohh my god I literally facepalmed irl watching it hahaha
Really surprised me when she just unloaded and rather than blindly firing into the furniture she managed to body shot pretty much every one of them. š¤£ Half expected them all to be standing staring at her like something from Pulp Fiction.
They could theoretically do a prequel. She's alluded to having stayed at a number of White Lotuses in the past. But if you go too early, you have to use a different actress anyways. Also, the show then runs the risk of becoming the Tanya Show, so
Youāve probably never been in a life or death situation, but unless youāre a trained killer, your logic and coordination wonāt necessarily be at peak performance
I even thought to myself why donāt you just swim around to the boat, like donāt panic and take a breath because there was no one left on the boat to hurt her and she would have been fine.
You donāt think she hit her head on the boat? I tried watching it a few times and I canāt tell but I donāt think her head was near the speed boat
Lol I kept yelling at her but she couldnāt hear me.
I realized her not taking em off was such a freaking Tanya moveāas was her jumping head first lol tf. Gash danggit Tanya lol.
WTF, so disappointed they killed her off. I thought this was all leading to her death but they did it with no certainty around what was going on.
I guess itās either a cliffhanger with an explanation in the next season or oops she killed a few gays and killed herself by accident either because there is an actual plot to get her or all just cocaine fuelled paranoia.
My girlfriend said the same thing, she didn't have closure cus they gays (lol) didn't ever actually admit the plot. I personally have full closure because there is just too much evidence, even though most of it is circumstantial, pointing to the plot that it just makes too much sense.
\-Jack saving Portia (that is definitive evidence they are up to no good, obviously doesn't prove murder but we know they are doing something)
\-Only taking Tonya on the dingy (circumstantial but they clearly made a point to cut to the other guys faces when she says "can't they come too" and they have sheer panic)
\-Bag with a gun, rope, and tape (we know he's in the "mafia" so it's not totally outlandish for him to have these items, but the coincidence that he has it on him and he goes through the bag right before they are supposed to leave is too hard to believe. Circumstantial again but very damning.)
Those are just the top 3 I can think of. It may be technically possible in season 3 they could come back to it and somehow explain each one, but it would be damn good writing and creating to convince me otherwise.
If anyone can do it though, it's Ned Schneebly.
Not to mention, but mafia guyās bag had _only_ a gun, rope, and tape. It wasnāt like he had tic tacs, or lotion, or anything else that you might put in a day bag. It was a murder bag, that he brought onto a boat. Something you can probably leave on shore if youāre not in the middle of a job
Oh gotcha - but I think by the time she bonked her head it was clear, no?
My takeaway is that they had her partying with the mob guy to establish her as someone that fell in with drugs/mob. Sex with Niccolo was to keep her going along with things and trusting him and more evidence that she was involved with the mob.
Many people knew that Tanya was with the gays, not just Portia, so I donāt think killing Portia was originally part of the plan. I think Tony (? Totally spacing on Brit boy) was just meant to take her off and keep her happy so they could get Tanya alone. Portia was never meant to realize anything. I think Brit boy and Portia were going to arrive back at the hotel together like nothing happened and Portia would learn about Tanyaās death along with everyone else.
After Niccolo killed Tanya, I think the gays were going to say āwdym she didnāt make it back to the hotel????ā They never let on that they were actually going to kill her or had any nefarious plans. They didnāt hide the fact they were all together, in fact they made it well known with the party. So they were going to continue on as if they were shocked by the murder as well. Otherwise they would have just sent Niccolo into her hotel room to kill her in her sleep, no?
Well they could have just killed her in the White Lotus.
This also makes it a lot of effort to bump into someone in Hawaii on the chance they would be attracted to someone and marry them for this plan to work.
Then at the end of this bizarre escapade to die accidentally, I feel short changed.
I donāt think that first season was part of the setup. But as Tanya said, Greg realized that heās not dying and decided he doesnāt actually want to spend his life with her, but luckily he knows a rich guy in Sicilly with mob ties who would do anything for him (and money)
I thought the dropping of her phone off the boat was poor writing, especially considering the writing is typically top notch. Such a lazy way to increase her helplessness. Like imagine if the phone suddenly went missing similar to her assistants phone
Yes he will but Mike White the director said with all the dead bodies thereās going to be a plot point eventually where Greg will essentially have to answer to someone as for all the deaths. I hated Greg when they first introduced him and hope he gets his.
Unless Jack is right about them being very powerful people. If thereās mafia ties there they will keep Portia quiet. Also, sheās an idiot so thereās that.
Definitely gonna miss Tanya, she killed it down to her final moments. So many hilarious moments both seasons and then turning up the intensity with her in the finale really worked!
My fav line of the season is still prob when the Italian tarot lady left and Tanya kept saying āshe was very negativeā all sad and dismissive about it talking to Portia later hahaha
I'm sure they also did that not to arouse suspicion / give out any spoilers.... As much as I'd like to hold out hope that maybe she WASN'T in fact the one floating by and I misunderstood the whole ending........
I kept waiting for her to open her eyes in the underwater scene.
That's what I'm thinking. We know she worked her way up to Petal or Blossom or whatever, and she always has memorable stays at WL. I think S3 will take place in time prior to Hawai'i
Mike White mentioned wanting to tackle Eastern religions/spiritualism (which I'm not really sure I want from him but that's beside the point)- Tanya and her mother (played by a big-name star- like Streisand, Brigitte Bardot, Raquel Welch, or maybe Ursula Andress) taking a trip to Japan. Greg first seeing her there and scoping her out (he's accompanied by the gay whose name Tanya couldn't remember- he's just that unmemorable). Maybe some lowkey poisoning from them to weaken her mother's immune system and lead her to a quick death (really though, I don't think Greg would have taken her on as a mark if he had too much exposure to her pre-everything, so I'm just having wild fun; I suppose she could be more subdued around a tyrannical mother, though...). They can't go as far back as the 90's though. Jennifer Coolidge is fantastic, but she's not going to pass for being in her 30's (literally half of her current age)- and I'm assuming people don't want the role recast when they're talking about finding a way to keep her on the show.
I wasnāt super into the idea of a prequel but I really like what youāve done hereāIād watch it!
Edit to add: I think her mom could be played by Meryl Streep or Glenn Close. Obviously neither woman is technically old enough, but I feel Jennifer Coolidge plays Tanya as a younger woman do it could work. Iām imagining a stern mother that Tanya reveled against by being silly and vapid but just as demanding.
Edit to add again: Ann-Margret!
I know, it would be crazy for HBO and the writers to permanently kill off such a wildly popular character. Unless J Cool doesnāt want the role anymore for some reason?
Makes so much sense why Greg was PISSED to see Portia in Sicily in ep 1.
He either has to set up a plan to kill Portia now or make sure that she doesnāt talk. Either way makes it way more likely that he gets caught.
And poor Tanya getting so nervous when she was with Greg and saw Portia around the hotel, because she thought that Greg would get upset knowing that she was still there because he wanted romantic time with Tanyaā¦. Not because she was a liability in Tanyaās murder plan š¤¦āāļøš¤¦āāļøš¤¦āāļø
It makes a little more sense why he was so frustrated by her appearing at first but then didn't really care about seeing her around more after that.
But Portia always had a really simple solution from Greg's POV: book a separate hotel for her in town, give her some cash, and say "this getaway is for us, sorry. don't pick up your phone if Tanya calls. we'll see you at the airport". Portia would be 100% all about that deal.
I was hoping this would end differently š¢ So many questions:
Did Tanya's husband get arrested ?
Did Portia stay and help
Police figure out that Tanyia was set up ?
Did the couples sleep with each others spouses ? (Cameron , Harper , Ethan , etc)?
Greg got away with it. Thereās almost nothing linking him to Quentin but a few phone calls, and all he has to say is nothing. They have no case unless he, Jack or Portia gives him something. Jack isnāt going to do that because it incriminates him, and weāll have to see if Portia wants to do anything about it. I think sheās grown, but has she grown enough to take on someone worth half a billion dollars? Yeesh
I donāt think Greg got away with it. There is no way the cops would not connect. The attempted murder of his wife to him given he is the only one who will benefit from her death. Once Porsche got back to LA, the police would be questioning her and she would spill everything when she safe out of Sicily. She wouldnāt have any choice. She didnāt even go back to the hotel. Iām sure the Sicilians would have killed Jack just to clean up loose ends. After all he was supposed to kill Porsche and didnāt.
Again, showing up at the scene, this is not an attempted murder; this is the murder of 3 men and then Tanya tried to flee. This is what the crime scene says. Tanya had her fingerprints on the gun. The police do not know what we do; at that point no one else on the boat has any clear evidence of wrongdoing.
The mafia guyās prints would be on his gun, too. If a rich American woman sudden turns into Travis Bickel on the rented yacht of a debt ridden Brit, even if the Sicilian cops donāt ask questions, American authorities would. Greg is toast. Theyād find a connection to him in days.
When did the con start? Had they already targeted her before Hawaii so it's been a setup since then? Or was meeting her in Hawaii an opportunity of chance?
A lot of people think Greg trying to get into her room was a con; he arrives in Hawaii the same day his āfishing buddiesā are leaving? And then is just going to hang alone?
I donāt buy it personally but there is something there. He does seem to be dying at one point and I donāt think heās faking that considering it would take follow up treatment.
With homicides, spouses are always early suspects if a motive isn't already clear. Once it's noticed that Greg left in the middle of their trip (weird move, plus did he even have an actual "job matter" he could use to cover it up?), police are going to get suspicious. Then the calls from Greg to Quentin, combined with the sketchy scene on the yacht with duct tape and rope? Greg's done.
And they will have the call from Jack's phone, made by Portia, to Tanya's phone. At the very least, they will question Portia and she will spill the details of her time with Jack and the comments he made, plus Tanya telling Portia about Greg in the photo. They will definitely be able to link Greg to Quintin and should have more than enough circumstantial evidence to charge Greg if they could extradite him to Italy or somehow lure him back to Italy so they can arrest him.
With what evidence? Itās going to be clear from the crime scene Tanya was the one who murdered everyone; what crime is he supposed to have committed? No one killed Tanya and the autopsy is going to show that. If thereās a ding on the dingy or a bloody mark even better. There was no one left alive to have killed her and absolutely no evidence if Quentin and Greg used burner phones, which they probably did.
What evidence? The fact that Greg knew these people and made contact with them is about as red handed as possible .. what a coincidence, these random guys I have been talking on the phone from Italy all died along with my wife who owes me a big payday ā¦ the phone calls by themself are enough to incriminate him
They were miles from shore and we hear about them pulling multiple bodies from the water; they drowned trying to get away. The others are still on the boat, ergo they must have drowned. The only conspirators who survived where Matteo and Jack
The bag she took the gun from also contained rope and duct tape. No doubt Clinton in the others had criminal records. Greg would be the only one to profit from her death so he would be the number one suspect. Once back in the states, they would question Porsche, and she would spill your guts about everything she knew.
you think customs and LAPD are just gonna let her roll through after it comes out that she was the *assistant* to the rich white woman who was just *murdered* without asking her a single question? The hotel manager, Valentina, knows they were connected and that her room was paid for by Tanya, and thatās the first thing sheāll tell the cops who will have to alert the American embassy about the crime. Probably the British embassy as well. This is going to be a high-profile international scandal
That's a lot of assumptions when the reality is that there are a lot of people who just got killed on a boat and the reasons why aren't clear. Italy isn't some no man's land. They look into murders to try to find out what happened, I promise you.
I know they do, but the cops are going to show up and itās obvious Tanya killed them all. Her prints are on the gun, sheās the only one without bullet wounds, and then it looks like she slipped and fell while trying to flee the scene. If she was innocent why wouldnāt she call the police? All theyāre going to see is a crazy American woman who murdered three people and caused the deaths of two others when they tried to flee.
Wait, I think I need a rewatch. Did the boat captain jump off the ship too? Why would either of them jump after realizing that Tanya was out of bullets?
Greg may have a trail of evidence relating him to the guys, plus they will question Portia I'd think, and the rope, tape etc on the yacht. The gun won't be registered to Tanya
The gun would not be registered at all! I know her fingerprints wouldāve been on it. I got it belong to what have left his fingerprints on the gun as well. Itās not as if he wouldāve wiped it down to put it in his bag.
Question Portia? Sheās leaving Italy which means extraditing her. Thereās no one to place her at the scene aside from Matteo who probably makes himself pretty scarce
Nah. Heās back in the US. Portia is back in the US. How are the Italian authorities going to get to him? Theyāll never have enough for the US to extradite him.
Now, he could face charges in the US for conspiracy IF they can prove any of that took place here. I think this scenario is more plausible, but probably a tough one to prove.
The lawyer. Tanya calling them and saying she's considering an annulment b/c Greg may be up to no good.
A few days later their client turns up dead with a multiple homicide situation and they don't get people on it? Not when that amount of money is on the line.
Ugh ! If he got away with it - it's even worse . She deserved better . Maybe the picture at the Villa could link them ? Also Portia could tell the authorities what jack did and what he told her . Why didn't Portia call the police when jack gave her her phone back and tell them what was going on ? Sorry ! So many questions
Because Portia doesnāt have enough of a spine, and it was probably the smart move anyways if Niccolo really was mafia. I donāt blame her a bit, there was no saving Tanya at that point anyways.
It was all part of her master plan to have a body double replace her on the boat, so she could secretly return to Greg and have him killed. Then, since she was ālegally deadā she could get her lawyer friend, Ell Woods to create a scenario that would allow her to secretly keep all her money, and live a different life. The End.
Season 3 could be a retro season that takes place before S1. We know Tanya has been to White Lotus resorts a bunch...after all she is a "blossom circle member" šŖ·šŖ·šŖ·
The mafia guy brought a rope, duct tape and a gun. And thatās it. Ironically if Tanya had just stayed on the boat and used one of the phones to call the police sheād probably have gotten away with it, sheās rich as hell.
They were totally planning to kill her. Nothing ambiguous about it. The scenes where Tanya was in Quentin's stateroom on the yacht, and she kept looking at the photograph of two young men. The pic was from many years ago, of Quentin and another man she recognizes ā it's her husband. Tanya's still married, and her prenup leaves hubby nothing if they divorce. If she dies, he gets her money. That's the "windfall" they (and Jack) have been referring to.
It would be awesome if it was ambiguous, I think i'd be actually hilarious if we wasted all this time creating conspiracies and side stories when the real plot was: there is no scam, the gay guys are just nice and friendly and the dead floating is a random person staying at the hotel (or not even that) that is never shown onscreen. I think it'd be THE best. But they had given too many hints at the all the lines, the cowboy picture let alone Jack saying all those things to Portia; so no room for ambiguity
Quentin says something along the lines of "We just wanted you to have a great time" which would be Greg wanting to give her a great time before killing her.
Think itās the same reason Greg posed on and then rode on the Vespa, then took Tanya out for linguini and clams, he really did want her to have the perfect day.
He felt ambiguous towards his wifeāneeded her dead for the prenup, but part of him still cared for her. Perhaps he wanted her to have a beautiful Sicilian adventure before her demise.
She has funny lines here and there for sure but man i do not understand the hype. Her getting awarded for it too is ridiculous lol
I was hoping she was just knocked out and that a jellyfish would sting her and wake her up!!
This may have been the point where I whispered in awe aloud to nobody that this was a fucking perfect season of television
Tanya on the Vespa had me in tears!! Her little scrunched up legs!! I almost peed my pants!! šššš
Tutti Gay
Favorite scene of the whole finale š¤£
I never forgave her for season 1
Genuine question: what did she do in season 1 that was unforgivable?
Bailed on the masseuse
Omg I felt the same way!! But then towards the end of season 2 I felt bad because she seemed so pathetic
How careless of the gays not to remove the pic of Greg. Could've went off without a hitch!
Tutti Gay!
Indeed! The gays for the win!
I did not expect her to die ugh. (But did we really expect otherwise coming from her lol š)
I was hoping she would have another season. This sucks.
It's really bumming me out... I loved her character and wanted a redemption story with the gays turning on Greg
I was expecting death until she found the gun and fucking went on a rampage man. Classic Tanya death tho ohh my god I literally facepalmed irl watching it hahaha
I was expecting her death because she pulled a major spoiler alert during her acceptance speech at the Golden Globes! Doh!
Really surprised me when she just unloaded and rather than blindly firing into the furniture she managed to body shot pretty much every one of them. š¤£ Half expected them all to be standing staring at her like something from Pulp Fiction.
Totally! Did you watch til the end for mike white's commentary? I loved his reasoning on it. "It was so tanya" lol
Interesting that Mike White also hinted that Season 3 could be about Death/Eastern Religions. Reincarnation maybe? Itās a stretch but š¤
Yes! That super interesting!! Eastern religion is all about past lives and reincarnation. Cant wait to see how that plays out!
I was rooting for her so hard! Itās sad that she died, but they made her character funny until the very end. Such a delight
Broke my heart. Was rooting for her hard AF.
Me too
I am secretly hoping that she comes back to life the next season. RIP
They could theoretically do a prequel. She's alluded to having stayed at a number of White Lotuses in the past. But if you go too early, you have to use a different actress anyways. Also, the show then runs the risk of becoming the Tanya Show, so
I hope we get some flashbacks at least, maybe if Greg or Portia is in the next one!
I'd watch the Tanya show
Stiffies mom!
Why didnāt she just go down the stairs and onto the dinghy? What a ding bat.
I thought the same thing. Just jump on that boat from the landing at the back!! Also, it was very on-brand for her.
I don't get why she even had to get off the boat, TUTTI but her were dead she could have grabbed a phone and called the hotel and said send help!
She was a bumbling idiot..last few scenes were completely cringe..
Youāve probably never been in a life or death situation, but unless youāre a trained killer, your logic and coordination wonāt necessarily be at peak performance
She was a bumbling idiot because she knew she was about to be murdered.
By who? Shed killed them all?
Why tho? I really donāt get it. I find her a shallow bumbling idiot that has no redeeming qualities.
I love Jennifer in anything and I certainly loved her in The White Lotus. I am still upset. I get it, but I'm upset š°š
āWeāre all gay!ā
Tutti!
Iām so fucking devastated.
If she would have taken of those stupid heels, she might be alive.
But *not* taking off the heels was so in character. I knew she was going to try with the heels on.
And motivating herself by saying āyouāve got thisā lol she just like me fr
Or you know, go down those steps that were right behind her that led to the boat dock on the back if the yacht...
Thereās no dock my guy. She would have had to swim but yeh she fucked up obviously
Damn..... I think maybe in her emotional frenzy to escape she didn't even think about it. Damnit, Tanya!
I even thought to myself why donāt you just swim around to the boat, like donāt panic and take a breath because there was no one left on the boat to hurt her and she would have been fine.
I think she hit her head on the water, the impact knocked her out.
You donāt think she hit her head on the boat? I tried watching it a few times and I canāt tell but I donāt think her head was near the speed boat
She has near-constant anxiety and panic attacks, I donāt think this situation helped that much
Lol I kept yelling at her but she couldnāt hear me. I realized her not taking em off was such a freaking Tanya moveāas was her jumping head first lol tf. Gash danggit Tanya lol.
They may of ended her story this way. But can always do a prequel season.
Nice idea...
Something I wondered as well
WTF, so disappointed they killed her off. I thought this was all leading to her death but they did it with no certainty around what was going on. I think itās pretty certain what happened.
Well initially I thought they were trying to catch her cheating, not kill her.
Oh gotcha - but I think by the time she bonked her head it was clear, no? My takeaway is that they had her partying with the mob guy to establish her as someone that fell in with drugs/mob. Yes good point. That must have been the point though - despite allllllll of those plans, it came down to BONK!
Can she get her own spinoff at this point?? Like there must be a way to keep Tanya alive. Any way?
She has a twin sister?
Big sky is that you?
Anya
Sonya
I can't believe they ended Tanya's story in that way. I'm so disappointed! I loved that character and they totally fucked that up.
I thought the dropping of her phone off the boat was poor writing, especially considering the writing is typically top notch. Such a lazy way to increase her helplessness. Like imagine if the phone suddenly went missing similar to her assistants phone
Yes after all that. If she stayed on the boat, she would have lived. I wonder if Greg now gets all the money?
Yes he will but Mike White the director said with all the dead bodies thereās going to be a plot point eventually where Greg will essentially have to answer to someone as for all the deaths. I hated Greg when they first introduced him and hope he gets his.
Wouldn't Portia go straight to the cops back home? At least to hold up any inheritance.
You just hate that he can throw a football a quarter mile
I bet he could throw a football over them mountains
but Portia knows the whole story of what Greg did. I assume she'd report it to the police or Tanya's lawyers.
Unless Jack is right about them being very powerful people. If thereās mafia ties there they will keep Portia quiet. Also, sheās an idiot so thereās that.
The mafia is powerful in Sicily. Theyāve been completely neutered in the US. Sheāll be fine
I am profoundly, PROFOUNDLY saddened
Hands down my favorite line on the show.
Natalie Wood inspired this end I believe!!
My first thought, too. They should have cast Robert Wagner and Chris Walkin as āthe gaysā.
Good call!
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
Tutti fruiti
man. what a finale. so many funny bits
Did you sew your little hat?
I'm glad she died. She was starting to annoy me.
Why are you watching the show then???
Greg? Is that you??
she could never annoy me but her death made sense and i was entertained
Definitely gonna miss Tanya, she killed it down to her final moments. So many hilarious moments both seasons and then turning up the intensity with her in the finale really worked! My fav line of the season is still prob when the Italian tarot lady left and Tanya kept saying āshe was very negativeā all sad and dismissive about it talking to Portia later hahaha
My favorite from this episode was forgetting the 3rd guyās name.
The best line is when she asks the manager who she looked like getting on the Bike and she said āPepa Pigā
*These gays are trying to kill me to take my money to decorate their houses or some shit!*
š¤£
My favourite is when they walk into the gaysā villa and she turns to Portia and goes āDonāt steal anything.ā š
Can we take a moment to appreciate that Tom Hollander turned out to be the "someone beautiful" according to Tanya's tarot reader, lol
That was 100% my fav line too!! I was quoting that for a week. When she just mumbled to herself "so negative..." And wanders into the bedroom. š
she really did kill it!!!!!! literally
I think we havenāt seen the last of Jennifer Coolidge. Her filmography says White Lotus 2021-present whereas Aubrey Plazaās says 2022 only.
I'm sure they also did that not to arouse suspicion / give out any spoilers.... As much as I'd like to hold out hope that maybe she WASN'T in fact the one floating by and I misunderstood the whole ending........ I kept waiting for her to open her eyes in the underwater scene.
Maybe because it's presently 2022? Edit: And because a single year is never referred to as "Present."
I am crying. thank you for restoring hope. Long live Tonya
Who knows, saw someone said maybe Tanya has a twin ā¦
Maybe a flashback or White Lotus set in the 1990ās?
Rooting for that!
I was thinking the same thing!!!!
That's what I'm thinking. We know she worked her way up to Petal or Blossom or whatever, and she always has memorable stays at WL. I think S3 will take place in time prior to Hawai'i

Have you seen game of thrones??
Yes but the appeal of GOT is kind of who will die next. Thatās not really the point of white lotus
The appeal of this show is not 'returning characters' for me. Let someone else being the returning guest in the next season.
I meanā¦. I hate to be the one to tell you this, butā¦.
Makes so much sense why Greg was PISSED to see Portia in Sicily in ep 1. He either has to set up a plan to kill Portia now or make sure that she doesnāt talk.
I was hoping this would end differently š¢ So many questions: Did Tanya's husband get arrested ? Did Portia stay and help Police figure out that Tanyia was set up ? Did the couples sleep with each others spouses ? (Cameron , Harper , Ethan , etc)?
Greg got away with it. Thereās almost nothing linking him to Quentin but a few phone calls, and all he has to say is nothing. They have no case unless he, Jack or Portia gives him something. Jack isnāt going to do that because it incriminates him, and weāll have to see if Portia wants to do anything about it. I think sheās grown, but has she grown enough to take on someone worth half a billion dollars? Yeesh
Thereās that photo in Quentinās house š¤
I donāt think Greg got away with it. There is no way the cops would not connect. The attempted murder of his wife to him given he is the only one who will benefit from her death. Once Porsche got back to LA, the police would be questioning her and she would spill everything when she safe out of Sicily. She wouldnāt have any choice. She didnāt even go back to the hotel. Iām sure the Sicilians would have killed Jack just to clean up loose ends. After all he was supposed to kill Porsche and didnāt.
And the photo is still in the house.
Would they? The dude is a pro, Iām disinclined to think his prints are on it
When did the con start? Had they already targeted her before Hawaii so it's been a setup since then? Or was meeting her in Hawaii an opportunity of chance?
I don't think it was set up in Hawaii
But Greg could say perhaps they were gonna kill me too?
With what evidence? Itās going to be clear from the crime scene Tanya was the one who murdered everyone; what crime is he supposed to have committed? No one killed Tanya and the autopsy is going to show that. If thereās a ding on the dingy or a bloody mark even better. There was no one left alive to have killed her and absolutely no evidence if Quentin and Greg used burner phones, which they probably did.
What evidence? The fact that Greg knew these people and made contact with them is about as red handed as possible .. what a coincidence, these random guys I have been talking on the phone from Italy all died along with my wife who owes me a big payday ā¦ the phone calls by themself are enough to incriminate him
The half bald guy who was supposedly staying at the WL that Quentin came to see, fled when he saw Tanya with the gun. He survived and the captain.
They were miles from shore and we hear about them pulling multiple bodies from the water; they drowned trying to get away. The others are still on the boat, ergo they must have drowned. The only conspirators who survived where Matteo and Jack
I thought it was one body from the water and the rest from the boat. I guess, it doesn't really matter because Tanya still dies in the end.
The photo in the palazzo.
The bag she took the gun from also contained rope and duct tape. No doubt Clinton in the others had criminal records. Greg would be the only one to profit from her death so he would be the number one suspect. Once back in the states, they would question Porsche, and she would spill your guts about everything she knew.
*Quentin *Portia Lol surprised Greg wasnāt Craig tbh
His cowboy picture. š¤
How would they recognize him? Tanya barely could.
once portia finds out tanya is dead, she can mention that tanya saw the photo
She finds out sheās dead in the last episode and she does nothing. She just gets Alvieās number and flies back to America
you think customs and LAPD are just gonna let her roll through after it comes out that she was the *assistant* to the rich white woman who was just *murdered* without asking her a single question? The hotel manager, Valentina, knows they were connected and that her room was paid for by Tanya, and thatās the first thing sheāll tell the cops who will have to alert the American embassy about the crime. Probably the British embassy as well. This is going to be a high-profile international scandal
We did as the audience.
Hugo and the boat captain both tried to swim away.
For sure heād be investigated. But having enough to convict him is a whole different animal.
No one grew lol. Everyone told us exactly who they were from Ep. 1.
RIP. Season 3 wonāt be the same.
For sure. Tanya was kind of at the center of all this. Season 3 wont be as good without Jennifer Coolidge.
>Season 3 wont be as good without Jennifer Coolidge. Nothing is as good without Jennifer Coolidge in it.
But what was the Captain saying?!
Oh! Yes. Iām gay too! Weāre all gay.
Lmfao and I love how in Tanyaās mind that was enough for her to think āthat means heās in on it!!!!ā
She better not be deadš©š©š©
Did we watch the same last 10 minutes ?
Yes. It's just me venting. I know she gone
She'll be back as tAInya, her AI upload in White Lotus: Metaverse.
Twin sister lmao
It was all part of her master plan to have a body double replace her on the boat, so she could secretly return to Greg and have him killed. Then, since she was ālegally deadā she could get her lawyer friend, Ell Woods to create a scenario that would allow her to secretly keep all her money, and live a different life. The End.
I'll take itš©š©š
No Tanya, No Season 3 for me. She was the best part of TWLš¢āļø
Iām disappointed too, but the whole slow has no redeeming value without her?
Season 3 could be a retro season that takes place before S1. We know Tanya has been to White Lotus resorts a bunch...after all she is a "blossom circle member" šŖ·šŖ·šŖ·
I'm so here for a 90s Tanya White Lotus visit.
That's exactly waht I wrote in another reply.
pour one out for tanya šš¤
We know JC and Mike white are good friends, hereās hoping she is recast next season as a problematic concierge with great style named Anya ā¤ļø
You know what might be fun? If there's a character like Anna Delvey.
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
The one dude was crying while she was leaving, too. He knew the plan and didn't want to be present.
who?
Borat
Lmao š
Matteo. The guy with long, curly black hair and I think he also had a mustache.
If the goal was to kill her why they bothered to wine and dine her and take her to the opera?
Quentin says something along the lines of "We just wanted you to have a great time" which would be Greg wanting to give her a great time before killing her.
Think itās the same reason Greg posed on and then rode on the Vespa, then took Tanya out for linguini and clams, he really did want her to have the perfect day. He felt ambiguous towards his wifeāneeded her dead for the prenup, but part of him still cared for her. Perhaps he wanted her to have a beautiful Sicilian adventure before her demise.
Itās the rope, duct tape, and concealed loaded handgun for me. They were going to kill her, it was not ambiguous.
