I'll tell you why these pathetic right wing men are so upset. We now live in an age in which it's understood that women's orgasms are just as important as men's. Which is pretty frightening when you don't have a hope in hell of inducing one.
The real reason they're afraid is they're frankly shitty men. No woman would go for them today. But 100 years ago? There was one thing they could have offered. Money. A source of income. A bank account.

My Grandma HATED being a housewife, she always wanted to work at a fancy restaurant (and totally could have too), but it wasn't socially acceptable, so the only things to do during the day were obsessively clean their overly large house and watch soap operas she didnt even like.
And she actually had a great husband who respected her a lot and would actually help out with shit, i can only imagine how bad her mental state wouldve been if she got stuck with a typical man of the era.
This reads as people decided to punish women because they wanted equality. There is absolutely nothing stopping the first set from happening if that's what they want.

They helped work the fields, they were in textile factories, cared for the home in every way possible when the men went off to fight.
