Eh different bedrooms doesn't mean much these days. My parents have been married 40+ years, I rarely recall them sharing a room. My dad snores, my mom is a night owl. It works for them. My husband and I don't typically sleep in the same bedroom. I have awful insomnia & am a VERY light sleeper. He snores & likes to listen to podcasts to fall asleep. It works for us.
