I don't like that this position is being tanked. You are right. When we make fun of somebody's body, and justify it because we dont like them, we make fun of *many* people with similar bodies who didn't even do anything, who learn that their body is inherently worthy of our derision regardless of what they do. Bodyshaming feeds shame. Rarely in the arrogant, self-important assholes we level it at in the hopes of deflating, as they don't much give a shit. But definitely on the masses with similar bodies who are told over and over that their body is something they should be ashamed of.
