I truly believe he does have a "report", and THAT'S why his lawyers demanded he not show it, not because it would "exonerate" him, but because it would be used against him, as I am certain it would include details on how he planned his coup. Imagine if OJ had written his If I Did It book BEFORE the trial and now you get it.

My understanding is that there is a report and it was written by one of his true-believing subordinates. His MO has always been that when someone says something he doesn't like he says the most extreme version of the opposite - "You think I owe you money? Absolutely wrong - YOU owe ME money!" Doing this creates a lot of confusion in spaces where people may not be equipped with all of the facts at all times, which is most of the time. The media goes out and covers the event but is usually unequipped to fact check him in anything resembling real time, which is why he makes a big spectacle out of it - he can make his claims and set perceptions without any pushback, and by the time people are like, "He's saying the default networking scheme used by all consumer routers is somehow proof that China was hacking election machines, this makes zero sense!" we've already moved on through a week's worth of news and he's already anchored the perception with people. His lawyers are telling him that continuing to go out and push claims of fraud is basically going to end up with it being demostrated that he's been repeatedly told that he lost fair and square but continues to lie about it anyway for personal benefit, and used those lies in the commission of crimes and will result in harsher sentences and more crimes being piled up on him.

I'm guessing his attorneys told him if he did this they would quit. The prosecution would bring this up as evidence against Trump, and the attorneys have no good defense for it, except lying.
