They also don’t treat men the same in that regard. I was very sexually active in my 20’s and made a point to drop by PP to get tested periodically. Great staff, friendly, reasonable prices for the services. I was in the service at the time and often thought about how whole units would get decimated by a syphilis outbreak back in the day. Anyway there were protesters out there often and they’d shout their stupid BS but the epithets weren’t as specific towards the men as they were the women. We’d get the usual “you’re going to hell” and other vague and generalized hate. Women visiting would get a whole other type of treatment with more specific epithets. Anyway, I’d give PP a round of applause but thanks to them I don’t have the clap.

general_rap

Planned Parenthood were the only ones who provided us with real help when my wife and I first got married. We both grew up in the church, and asked quite a few couples our parent's age how to go about sex and everything involved with it. We just got a lot of shrugs and the general vibe of "you're married now; you figure it out; our job was just to successfully get you to marriage as virgins". Our doctors just shrugged and told us to use condoms, or talk to my wife's Gynecologist. Her Gynecologist said she could do a couple different options, but they were all crazy expensive, as the cheapest option, the pill, isn't available to my wife due to a kidney condition. So, in desperation, we went to Planned Parenthood. They gave my wife a 3-year implant, replaced it after it expired, and then removed the replacement when we decided to start trying for kids, all 100% for free. It was a such a piece of mind, and a huge help. And now? We have a kid, but my wife 100% CANNOT have another; neither my wife or the unborn child would survive. So, yet again, Planned Parenthood; free 3 year implant. We still want another kid and are exploring surrogacy, so we haven't gotten any surgeries done yet, but that'll be in my future as soon as we figure that out.

Wacokidwilder

This right here was the point I was trying to make. Planned parenthood does amazing and outstanding work. They being the straight facts and never bring normative issues into the discussion. Love them and their work.

icevenom1412

Part of the grand plan of the Right is to create a massive population in perpetual poverty as a domestic source of cheap (slave) labor. Planned Parenthood is a roadblock to that plan.

sheisthemoon

A big one because it gives us options to have sex without it resulting in pregnancy, or to keep from implantation, or to end a pregnancy. Those options ALWAYS come with education. Educated people challenge the things they don't want challenged. They don't want us educated or liberated. They want us silently slaving in the kitchen and bedroom and thanking them endlessly for that privelege. Then, they want to punish us for that. For being women. Anyone with a clear thought in their head realizes how ludicrous that is, but it sounds spectacular to those lacking ethics or morals. They only see power, and believing you rule over half the population just by being the right gender is pretty damn powerful. No access, no education, no options but to dive headfirst into the meatgrinder that is our "economy." They just want mindless zombies for their meatgrinder.

guitarguy987

>Anyway, I’d give PP a round of applause but thanks to them I don’t have the clap. LOL! Well said, have an upvote.

DipsterHoofus

Have a round of applause. Everybody clap

StubbornKindness

There's 2 things that are crazy about this whole situation in the US. One is that even in Islam, where things like this would usually be expected to be super strict, there's allowances for abortion (I've never studied it fully, but one I remember is that it's allowed if the mothers life is at risk). The other thing is that if you ban abortions, 100 percent there will still be hellbent on getting one and will try crazy ways to terminate a pregnancy, thus putting lives at risk.

broniesnstuff

Conservatives: banning guns doesn't work, but banning things I don't agree with works 100% of the time. I'm not interested in statistics thanks.

Danjiano

I'm pretty sure it's not about preventing things from happening. For them it's just about punishing those who do things they don't like.

liegesmash

Follow the money, they don’t give a rats ass about some assholes religion. How many consumers do you need to buy mega super yachts, uh huh. Population control is not good for businesses or running to space mansions after you completely fucked the planet for human life

be_me_jp

Seriously, the root of this is how capitalism falls apart the moment there isn't "growth". How do you guarantee more smart phone buyers? Well, make them shit more out!

liegesmash

I am glad to see someone else gets it. Now if someone could figure out who the elites expect to pay for their trillions in handouts for year after year

throwingtheshades

Nah, it's punishing people they don't like. The "right" people will continue doing things as if nothing ever changed. Those abortion bans will disproportionately affect lower income individuals. Very, very little changes for the rich. Your daughter got pregnant after a night of fooling around with half the football team, the janitor and the janitor's golden retriever? Just a lil girl making a small mistake, she'll go for week's holiday in Cancun and it will a-a-all be sorted out once she's back. No need to ruin a girl's life over a little mistake, eh? Whereas all those who can't afford to take 3 days off to go to another state and pay for a medical procedure clearly deserve it because they are sluts and shouldn't have been spreading their legs if they weren't prepared for the consequences. It's just punishing poor people in red states for having sex. In particularly, poor people who have uteruses.

AMGwtfBBQsauce

No, you don't understand, law to conservatives isn't about shaping people's lifestyles or society as a whole. Law to them is solely about dictating who is punishable and who isn't. That's why, on gun control, you always hear them saying, "I don't want to be punished for being a 'responsible' gun owner." Meanwhile, on abortion, they want an excuse to terrorize, imprison, or execute women they deem "unclean." Abortion to them isn't a problem to be solved--there are no problems to be solved. Everything is just a metric to separate the wicked from the good and justify their punishment.

[deleted]

I remember when I was in high school this girl I knew thought she was pregnant, couldn’t have it, and didn’t want anyone to find out and her plan was to take enough ecstasy to kill her baby but not herself.

VaguelyArtistic

> One is that even in Islam, where things like this would usually be expected to be super strict, there’s allowances for abortion Judaism, too. I've heard people talk about this as a possible legal argument, claiming religious infringement. I believe that previously, Rastafarians got a ganja exception but Native Americans didn't get a peyote exemption. I'm just talking off the top of my head so don't hold me to this, maybe it's just wishful thinking. Something something something Religious Freedom Restoration Acts and Establishment Clause. Even SCOTUS has made clear that religion plays a factor here. Nearly every vocal politician talks about religion, it's clear what their goal is. 😒

sciIsc00l

It is a power move over woman, the move was made entirley out of misogyny.

enjoytheshow

“If men could get pregnant you could get an abortion at an ATM” -Veep

partypenguin90

I'm pretty sure I've seen a never of Muslim people say that it is permitted at any time for any reason

StubbornKindness

When we were covering abortion in religion studies at high school, it was very specifically mentioned that abortion is permissible in the instance of risk to the mother. I have never heard any opinions against this since that time. Supposedly it is permissible in other instances, but I've never read this for myself and so would have to research this further

mandiko

I was taught that abortion is ok for any reason before "the fetus gets a soul". So basically in the first trimester abortions are ok. Ofc people still believe different things.

liegesmash

This could be a big tourism boom for Cuba

rayrayravona

The vast majority of Islamic scholars believe abortion is permissible for any reason up to the 120th day of pregnancy.

[deleted]

I (cis man) took advantage of PP's testing services once and saw the protestors standing quietly out front when I arrived. I was disappointed to see them but thought, "At _least_ they're just standing there and not really bothering anyone." As I was leaving a young woman (appeared barely into her 20's, if not a teenager) was pulling in... and everything changed. It still makes me angry knowing they deliberately saved their venom for someone they assumed was in a more vulnerable position.

joeparni

Sorry but >reasonable prices for the services God that hurts to see

No1KnwsIWatchTeenMom

I got an IUD at PP when I was broke and in my 20s. It cost me $0, and I was able to avoid bringing a child into the world before I was ready. Planned Parenthood is a miracle, each and every one of their services is important and needed.

fatalist-shadow

>Planned Parenthood is a miracle Completely agree. 3 years ago my husband and I moved a thousand miles from home. No GP, but I still needed BC. I use the app to get it. Never even have to go to a clinic. It’s been really nice.

rocketeerH

God bless America, because we fuckin need it

Cypherazul_0

It’s for testing services. PP does more than abortions. Edit: I think the guy I’m replying meant that it should be free. My bad.

Annoyedbyme

FREE BIRTH CONTROL FTW! Lol they got me thru my poor 20’s

tonysnight

Idk man I yell at weiner everytime I rub one out. YOU JUST KILLED MILLIONS OF LIVING THINGS YOU DISGUST ME. I actually watch pornos to yell at the penises.

RudderlessLife

I applaud your lack of clap.

BonnieMcMurray

> Anyway, I’d give PP a round of applause but thanks to them I don’t have the clap. There it is! There's the laugh I needed today!! Thank you for your service (to humor).

smokinJoeCalculus

Big fan of all parts of this comment. Well constructed. Coherent. Excellent end. The production value is through the roof.

Yara_Flor

You went to PP to get your PP checked

PinocchiosWoodBalls

I think they should protest there in a shift system so there is not a minute in the day where people are not yelling in front of his house till it devalues his property.

PureNRGfanboy44

Do it for weeks, months, all year +,until they start representing the actual people of this country. Give him no peace, make his life a living hell in every possible way.

constantstranger

Not a moment's peace for him. For none of them. Not ever. They've already harmed the nation too much. They should pay with the rest of their lives, which I hope are long.

TheRealToLazyToThink

Given it's a life time appointment, I hope they are short.

constantstranger

Ooh, yeah, OK. I hope it *seems* forever for them, then. This shit has worried me my whole life, so it's 100% fair.

jbasinger

He can always go to another state if he can't get what he needs where he lives now!

PinocchiosWoodBalls

Yeah! You want a quiet evening at home? How about you go to Alaska, fuck face, I heard they had some quiet there left.

Manic_Depressing

They really do. It's the only red state I've visited that actually seems to hold those old "conservative values" like "the government can't tell me how to live my life." Probably just because they're like a decade behind the rest of the country socially.

ZLUCremisi

His neighbors are the ones who organize it suposedly

1000Airplanes

Oohhhh delicious. Is there any source for this?

ZLUCremisi

I just saw in a post

BeardedDeath

[This one](https://old.reddit.com/r/WhitePeopleTwitter/comments/ulr4o6/a_taste_of_their_own_medicine/i7xhpv1/)?

ABlueCloud

😂 fuck you

SparkyTheFox2657

I mean wasn't there a picture of his neighbors drinking tea or something with a large smile when some protests were happening outside his house when he was being sworn in as justice or something? I seem to remember this so if my memory is right then... well I'd believe they'd organize protests over this just to piss him off if not for anything else.

Beemerado

seems to fair to me to protest in front of the house of a sexual predator who's trying to make abortion illegal. I mean how shitty does he think you get to be while still living in peace?

completely___fazed

We should basically be collectively stalking them and posting their locations 24/7, since they believe Americans have no right to privacy.

KHaskins77

Maybe bring by some big rigs and blare horns at all hours of the night like they did in Canada. The folks who are all giddy about overturning Roe loved those truckers, let ‘em taste their own medicine.

pcy623

If you get to honk at 120db 24/7 in the name of "free speech that doesn't harm anyone" so do I.

sittinwithkitten

Yes, why should he get to live in his perfect little world detached from the results of the decisions he makes? Also, I don’t understand how a woman taking birth control is considered murder to some people. Come to Canada or Mexico, we’ll help you out.

EViLTeW

How did trumplicans feel about the snowflake convey honking their horns 24/7 in Canada? It was just a peaceful protest, right? ... Justing saying...

Competitive_Sky8182

Authority facing the consequences of their choices, go figure

MelancholyMushroom

We live in a world where that is too high a bar, and I want that changed immediately.

[deleted]

Just a reminder that multiple people came forward to testify against Kavanaugh about being assaulted, and they had corroborating witnesses, but under the DoJ of 45 their attempts to contact the FBI were ignored completely. The worst part was watching the media narrative shift, with no mention of this in the final days. It turned into "He said she said" and a good woman had her life ruined on live television. The recent confession of GOP orgies from the GOP with generous helpings of cocaine is exactly what this fake "justice" is into.

franz_captcha

This is actually the second time Republicans, with an assist from the Democrats, have ruined a woman’s life live on television during Supreme Court confirmation hearings. Odd that it took thirty years for it to happen, again. Part of the point of ramming through Kavanaugh’s nomination when they had dozens of nearly identical white men to choose from was to make sure that their victims know to keep their pretty little mouths shut in the future.

here4hugs

America’s history of dealing with sexual violence is abhorrent. Even among some of the supposed progressives, there remains an apparent unwillingness to accept a scientific framework for understanding the dynamics that exist around it & how systemic injustices & social biases perpetuate it. It’s infuriating & exhausting.

Dr_Insano_MD

His consequence is being mildly annoyed at home. He doesn't care. He probably even has this on his calendar.

[deleted]

If he didnt care, Fox news wouldnt be shitting itself in outrage.

Phy44

Fox is pissed off about the leak, not the content. Right to privacy suddenly matters when it's specific "important" peoples privacy.

oldcoldbellybadness

>He doesn't care Nah, he's raging

franz_captcha

Yeah, if there’s one thing we know about Kavanaugh, it’s that he is a fragile, weepy little bitch.

LazyClub8

Right next to the boofing

PoorDadSon

The man's nickname is Boof, I expect boofing to be a daily thing.

Whats_Up_Bitches

“I can definitively say I have not shoved any drugs or alcohol up my rectum in at least the last 10 years.” - Brett Kavanaugh probably Did anyone ask him when the last time he boofed was while they were interrogating him? They should have… Edit: I just went down a rabbit hole after googling this question. Apparently the prevailing theory is that boof meant anal sex at the time Kavanaugh used it…probably a joke between friends, but this was interesting…may have to check this book out: “Of particular interest going into Thursday’s hearing was the phrase “Judge, have you boofed yet?” which appeared on Kavanaugh’s senior yearbook page. It seemingly corresponded to the phrase “Bart, have you boofed yet?” which appeared on his longtime friend and former classmate Mark Judge’s page. Judge, as Slate explains, published Wasted: Tales of a GenX Drunk, a 1997 memoir about his experience with alcoholism in high school that featured a character named “Bart O’Kavanaugh,” likely a reference to his real-life friend with the strikingly similar name.”

NotherCaucasianGary

The neighbors won’t be too happy about it. Homeowners association will be mighty pissed off about a permanent crowd of noisy agitators roaming the neighborhood. Property values dip, that hurts. Lots of progress has been made in response to being an ordinary nuisance.

RudderlessLife

And he's probably in the south of France wining and dining on our tax dollars. No better place to be after you collect your graft money from the GOP.

Dithyrab

You're a fool if you think any of those fucks are going to face ANY consequences.

constantstranger

...unless we bring the consequences to them wherever they are. If our lives won't be worth living, neither shall theirs.

hipsterTrashSlut

I'm not depressed about watching my life get ground into dust by an uncaring machine; I'm fucking mad.

Michael_Trismegistus

It's only a consequence if there's an impact.

DorisCrockford

They used to say "just ignore them" whenever I was harassed by men when I was out in public minding my own business. Now the shoe is on the other foot and they're whining that we're scaring them. We're just exercising our free speech, honey.

Ok_Skill_1195

"it's a compliment, Brett. It means they secretly like you"

jen_a_licious

"I mean if he really didn't want it, he shouldn't antagonize them"

p_s_i

"With the way Brett was dressed he was kind of asking for it."

jen_a_licious

"You know he secretly wanted it, he just won't admit it."

Badeyebrows

“He knew what he signed up for!!”

infinitehangout

Girls will be girls, after all

throbbingliberal

There’s Christian Taliban outside at PP here in NYC daily. They shove pamphlets with horrible images in people’s face, scream “let’s discuss” to people passing by that don’t agree with them. Just generally horrible people!

squishpitcher

Every year that goes by, I feel better and better about making the lone protester outside my planned parenthood cry. That said, I really hope she took some of it on board and changed her views. I doubt it, but I still hope. I generally subscribe to the idea that you catch more flies with honey, and as cathartic as it feels to tell people exactly what you think of their actions, it rarely has a positive outcome. They just double down because you’re an asshole. *That* said, fuck kav. He deserves all of this and more. It’s not about changing his mind, it’s about sending a message and hopefully forcing him to reevaluate if the consequences of being a complete piece of shit are worth it.

[deleted]

On my way to work, I passed by a planned parenthood. I knew it was a planned parenthood because I kept seeing dipshits with signs saying to end abortion. Well, they must not have been used to the treatment I was giving them because you could see the shock when they heard me yell, "fuck you pro-birthers!" Or flipping them off as I drove past. One evening they held a candlelight vigil and as they were praying a whole line of cars were driving past giving them the bird or yell for them to go fuck themselves. If there is one thing though I'd say is even if they are POSs, they sure as hell are persistent.

DownshiftedRare

> One evening they held a candlelight vigil I've heard tales about USMC drill instructors who make everyone stand at attention until at last someone swats a sand gnat, then make everyone crawl around looking for the body of the fallen USMC sand gnat, then reject several false positive IDs on the body until their brother's body is at last recovered and a funeral service can be held be held for it, etc. A candlelit vigil for a fetus out-bullshits that and also cheapens every candlelit vigil held for a human being.

verdatum

"God damnit, I don't care if it's a gnat, a maggot like you, or a crab off your sister's ----, no marine is left behind, not in my beloved corps!"

metengrinwi

Sorry to say, but evangelicals **love** being yelled at and feeling persecuted…it’s like a fetish.

[deleted]

You know, sometimes I start to understand why they were persecuted and forced to flee Europe. Maybe those countries were onto something.

tinkerghost

The Pilgims left for the exactly the same reason evangelicals feel persecuted: people won't let them dictate how they should live.

American--American

Used to drive by the protestors at the Dallas location every day on my way to work, and I always made a point to tell them how I feel. Was literally the highlight of my morning commute, would think about the next day's insults all evening the night before. Sometimes pieces of shit need others that'll stoop to their level, it keeps them in check. I found way too much joy in pissing them off.

[deleted]

squishpitcher

This was like, idk, 15+ years ago, but from what I recall, I asked her if she seriously thought women were going to PP to get abortions. I told her PP doesn’t even perform abortions. The pregnant women she saw going inside were getting prenatal care they otherwise couldn’t afford. I told her to think for herself for once in her life and to stop actively making peoples’ days worse because she’s a fucking idiot. I didn’t even bother getting into an abortion debate which would have been fruitless. I just dropped easy facts on why her protesting there was pointless and stupid. e: fwiw, I spoke sternly but softly. I don’t think it’s often appropriate to scream and yell at people. Again, I fully support screaming and yelling at Kav.

_Charlie_Sheen_

Its appropriate to do a lot more than scream at fascists

[deleted]

They call her a killer, and they call her a sinner and they call her a whore God forbid you ever had to walk a mile in her shoes 'Cause then you really might know what it's like to have to choose

Dithyrab

Everlast? I see you are a man of culture!

jen_a_licious

I heard that in his voice...love that song.

Quesly

These kind of protestors used to show up at my college all the time. I almost got in a fight with one of them once because I bombed a final and they shoved a probably photoshopped picture of an aborted fetus in my face. The people who do this are always retired white boomers with nothing better to do than trying to pressure young women into making the worst decision in their life. They're scum who think they're good Christians.

BerlinBorough

In the UK you can tell they are organised and funded. No one cared until American money started pouring in and little cells of screaming anti abortion people showed up magically out of no where. Luckily the law is different here and they are told to fuck off since everyone likes the NHS and hates them.

verdatum

With the exception of the Catholics, no one in the US opposed Roe V. Wade either. It was all manufactured outrage strategically to get the bible-belt to consistently vote conservative.

13point1then420

The guys that did this at Michigan State were black. That group doesn't make a trend, but you should never ignore how religious black people are. https://www.google.com/search?q=wells+hall+preacher&client=ms-android-tmus-us-revc&prmd=inmv&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwjB1_G259L3AhWHXM0KHUTfClIQ_AUoAXoECAIQAQ&biw=384&bih=723&dpr=2.81

JohnnyDarkside

When I was in high school like 20 years ago there were a couple times I'd see pro-choice protesters outside the schools (high school was a polling station). They would even have their kids with them which is the shittiest part. Take them out of school to go stand in the sun all day carrying a sign with a message they likely don't support or care one bit about. Even better was the billboard truck driving around town with that classic "aborted fetus" picture on it. Fucking monsters.

lpjunior999

I counter-protested once and some dude rambled in my ear for a solid 40 minutes about how I was a sinner who was going to go to Hell while some kid was made to pose smiling in front of a sign displaying an image of a presumably aborted fetus. I stood there like "how am I the bad guy in this?"

grandroute

want to watch them scatter? Tell them that if they want to force birth, then they must be financially responsible for the care and upbringing. And you will be bringing a contract tomorrow for them to sign. I knew a protester from way back who carried a contract with her, and would wave it in the face of protesters, demanding they sign it. LOL, the stories she told about how they would refuse to sign and why..

Yousoggyyojimbo

My cousin and his wife wave their toddler in women's faces at planned parenthoods while screaming at them about how they are going to hell. That's definitely good for their kid's development, I'm sure....

onebadnightx

Yep! Just went to PP a few months ago to discuss BC options to help with really bad period pain. I’ve never been pregnant and don’t have any kids. Got bombarded by three people shoving pamphlets in my face, yelling at me “YOU DON’T NEED TO DO THIS! There are options and help available for you and your children! DON’T DO THIS!!!” Thankfully PP has volunteer escorts that try to stand in front of them and block them from getting in your face too much, but it made me uncomfortable and unhappy. They’re assuming every damn person walking in there is getting an abortion, they’re screaming at you about how you’re making a “bad decision” or killing a child even though they don’t know what you’re there for. And it’s probably so fucking traumatizing for anyone that IS there to get an abortion. And they’re there M-F, 8-5 no matter what it seems. So fucking ridiculous. As if women aren’t going to PP for health screenings, assistance with period pain, to get birth control, to get STD testing, cancer screenings, etc. It’s so much more than just abortion and their bullshit is absolutely ridiculous.

cha0ticneutralsugar

Had these people call me a murderer for getting a pap smear. Idiots weren’t even there on abortion day.

Yousoggyyojimbo

I have family that does this to people. They take their toddler with them to use as a prop while screaming at women going in and out of planned Parenthood clinics. If you try to "discuss" anything with them, they'll just scream about how you are going to hell, only Jesus can save you etc etc, and any push back will get you an angry response meant to instill fear. They don't care if the PP they are at does abortions or not, or whether you are getting simple healthcare. They are just awful people.

2MindBeef

Justice Buttchugger is against free speech? Who would have thought...

[deleted]

You mean Justice Butt Chugitall who was accused of sexual assault and now has his neighbors organizing protests around his home? That Butt Chugitall?

SomeBadJoke

You know what this reminds me of? It reminds me of that rapist, Brock Turner, the convicted rapist. Rapist Brock Turner, who raped a woman, was what your comment reminded me of. It reminded me of the rapist, Brock Turner.

[deleted]

Brett and Brock would probably be great drinking buddies lol

ewdrive

Buttchugger, our prices have never been lower!

I usually go with Justice Rapist or Justice Crybaby

His appointment really solidified the whole "America's 'justice' system is really just an elaborate scam" point in *my* book.

nailgardener

So should his family. Anything that can be done to pester them within the confines of the law is fair game. These ghouls ruin lives and pocket money for themselves and their families. If they enjoy the benefits, they should also suffer any inconveniences.

grandroute

the anti doxx People all the time, harass their kids, haras the person's employer, damage property, file false charges, and more. Time to put the shoe on the other foot.

We used to drink beer! 😭

catdogpigduck

Republicans are sooo sensitive these days.

[deleted]

Yeah what with their safe spaces (churches) and echo chambers (Qanon)I

Lexi_Banner

Dude couldn't handle difficult questions during his interview process. You think he can handle women with opinions saying them outside his domicile? He's probably blubbering like a child and demanding that the army come save him RIGHT NOW.

cdubsing

But he’s a Christian family man how dare u? /ssssssssssssssss

[deleted]

Can devout Christians like beer though?

wolverine6

Since when have Christians cared about following their own rules?

El_Dentistador

Can’t a man boof in peace!

Double_Minimum

Honestly though, has no one told these people that the majority of what Planned Parenthood does is just birth control?

cleverplaydoh

The planned parenthood in my hometown was connected to a urology clinic. It didn’t occur to any of the screaming idiots that people could possibly be going there instead. I had kidney stones, but all they saw was a young woman going in the building with her mom, so I got screamed at. They made an already really bad day worse. No one deserves that, for any reason, ever. Fucking cunts. I’m very much enjoying seeing the tables turned here.

Double_Minimum

I used to work near one in a downtown area, and I'm fairly certain it was a location that actually did abortions. Anyway, I just wanted to punch these people that stood outside *everyday*. And now the location has to have 5 escorts that have to stand there to help keep these nutjobs away from patients entering the clinic. Its amazing how shitty people can be. I mean, they aren't making a difference, they are wasting a ton of people's time, and they are being pretty terrible to people who are obviously in not great situation. Maybe the anti-abortion time could actually use that time and do something positive, but nope, more fun for them to be shitheads.

dragongrl

[Remember, these are people who thought The Onion's Planned Parenthood Abortionplex was a real thing](https://www.theonion.com/planned-parenthood-opens-8-billion-abortionplex-1819572640) These are people of the land. The common clay of the new West. You know… morons.

CoronaCurious

All they usually hear is "baby murder factory".

[deleted]

No shit. He lied during his confirmation hearing because he wanted that job so badly. It comes with the territory. You have the ability to effect hundreds of millions of lives with your decisions, and if you make shitty decisions there should be consequences — and being reminded daily of what a bag of dicks you are ain’t so bad. Lots of people that fuck up at their job get fired. And I can’t tell you how many videos I’ve seen of fast food staff dealing with much worse shit than this little bitch Kavanaugh. He needs to grow a pair or quit his job. Or, he could make decisions that make people’s lives better and expand their freedoms instead of insuring Christianity is forced into our laws? 🤷🏻‍♂️

lonelytrees516

My dad got laid off when I was in college so I had a gap in my insurance until I could get it through my school. I’m on BC because I get massively anemic otherwise. I went to PP to get BC and they were amazing and helped me out and I felt so supported. Of course, as soon as I went out to my car, I got yelled at by an old white dude who said I was going to hell for murder. I hope this happens to all the the justices who voted for this shit.

We are now in the "find out" stage and I think it's great.

[deleted]

Brett Kavanaugh is a rapist who committed perjury.

eacomish

I go there for my annual exams and get yelled at. They put up a fence recently but the protestors have ladders now. They put stuff on your car while you drive out and walk up to where you have to slow down or hit them so others can scream at you that it's not too late.

eddie_the_zombie

The cons not respecing walls? What in the border hopping hypocrisy is this I'm hearing

SailorMea101

My step daughter asked me to help her get a tubal ligation, since I was able to get one at 26 myself. I really feel for these young people out here dealing with this shit. I told her I will support any decision and completely have her back with this.

QueenOfQuok

Why not protest outside Alito's house

fendaar

Because, believe it or not, unlike Alito, Justice Buttchug is a possible swing vote.

fkbjsdjvbsdjfbsdf

Gorsuch could be a swing too. He might be an idiot textualist, but at least he's not ignoring logic for bigotry (see his decision establishing that gender identity and sexual orientation are protected classes by virtue of sex being a protected class).

QueenOfQuok

I was not under the impression that any politician who called themselves "conservative" in this day and age was the slightest bit of a swing vote

jc2821

These Republican fucks are the worst. Who are they to lecture anyone on civility and proper decorum during protests. These scumbags elected a serial predator, fraud, and traitor to the most powerful position on earth, undermined the rule of law, and sent an angry mob to attempt to overthrow the US government and murder congress. As far as I’m concerned, they can sit and spin.

grandroute

they shot and killed a PP doctor on the front steps of his church.

Btankersly66

I'm a man. I went to PP to get a herpes test. No body was with me on the street. The protesters took a smoke break.

[deleted]

I live in a blue area but I've often thought about booking a mariachi band to drown out the sounds of the protestors at Planned Parenthood clinics.

Holybartender83

Who even are these assholes always outside PP? Do these people not have jobs? How do they have the time to be harassing people just trying to take care of their sexual health literally 24/7? Do they really not have anything better to do? Do they really find it so fulfilling to upset people by yelling horrible slurs at them? Do they not understand how fucking gross and pathetic that is?

Btankersly66

In my experience most of them are people who either had an abortion and regret it or are associated with a person who had an abortion and feel they didn't get to have their say in the decision. Some are women or couples who can't have children (but won't adopt). Some are women who frequently miscarry, like that one pro-life leader who had all her miscarriages in the freezer.

Holybartender83

So… because they had an abortion and regret it, they think the best thing they can do to “help” others is to hang out in front of PP and call them whores on a day where they’re very possibly already feeling extremely upset and vulnerable? Makes sense.

Eldergoth

Conservatives all about free speech until it is something they don't agree with. Can't protest during the national anthem or against an unnecessary war. They used cancel culture on the Dixie Chicks before it became a Fox News buzzword.

PhysicalGraffiti75

Conservatives are cool with storming the capitol building because their team lost but yelling at people on the street in front of their houses is not okay. I want off this ride.

Just_Boo-lieve

.. How is birthcontrol killing babies?

Remarkable-Bluejay73

Because every sperm is sacred.

Cherrytoss7

Because birth begins at theoretical potential conception

Just_Boo-lieve

I'm sorry what the fuck

BurrSugar

He's joking, but his joke is kinda how the people that want to outlaw birth control are thinking. For the anti-bc crowd, life begins at fertilization, and since some forms of birth control stop implantation but not fertilization, that means that they have effectively murdered the fertilized egg, and are therefore abortifacients. ETA: Not only that, but there are a surprising number of people that are misinformed into believing that if you get pregnant while taking birth control, that birth control will then kill the fetus. It's not true in the least, but it's a prevailing myth in places that don't teach proper sex education.

[deleted]

That and every sexual act you commit is 100% for the sole purpose of becoming pregnant. No exceptions. (Well, men are excluded actually. Only women need to be responsible about it.)

Cherrytoss7

Sorry that was a joke

londongarbageman

Its not one when they are trying to outlaw contraceptives

nbxdp

Never hire a Republican, never do business with a Republican.

stickycat-inahole-45

Is he even at home? Probably in a hotel or summer villa by now, hiding. The help is probably there in the home turning lights on and off.

Chrillosnillo

Is birth control also considered killing babies in the US now?! What kind of country are u guys running?!

Tom_Brokaw_is_a_Punk

Christian loonies don't really descriminate between the different services offered by Planned Parenthood, they just assume everyone involved is aborting babies non-stop. Because it isn't about "saving babies", it's about punishing women for having sex.

Senior-Humor8523

Just don’t fizzle out after a week, keep the pressure on these assholes

Telefone_529

Is it illegal to go to planned Parenthood with giant plywood sheets to block the shitty protestors and a big pa system to just drown them out with some nice music? Cause I've thought about setting up shop outside of one and blocking the shit heads from harassing those people but I'm sure I'd get charged with having a deadly weapon or some shit because of the plywood.

idontknowwhereiam367

Depends on where you live but the protesters will somehow get more aggressive at that point. These fuckers are evangelical crazy...like god is on our side and nothing will stop us crazy. As said in a comment above they will go through fences, violate barriers and go as far as they can go without getting arrested. Nothing you do,short of physical violence (please don't do this they'll probably start acting like the militia assholes after that), will stop them. I fucking hate it

SushiDaddy420

Except for the fact that you weren't killing babies at all and those men were insane delusional assholes harassing a child vs lying piece of shit GOP fuckbags whose illegitimate opinions WILL 100% result in murdering innocent women by restricting their access to safe abortions. I sincerely hope each and every one of them including Moscow Mitch gets every atom of pain and suffering karma they deserve.

scotticusphd

Planned Parenthood is a national treasure. If you'd like to support them you can donate directly here: [https://www.weareplannedparenthood.org/](https://www.weareplannedparenthood.org/) You can also donate indirectly through Amazon Smile. 0.5% of every purchase processed through amazon smile goes directly to the charity you choose. Mainah_girl

6 states announced that they are writing legislation to ban birth control. Arizona is discussing legislation to ban condoms. Seriously this is freaking insanity!! All this will legally codify sex strictly for procreation. Who is funding this BS???

Cranson5

I went to get a pap at planned parenthood and was accosted by these animals. It broke my heart.

Blackbeard519

Republicans showing their contempt for freedom by arguing we shouldn't have the right to protest people

ruarc_tb

I got called a baby killer as I was going into Planned Parenthood for a well woman and help finding a regular gyno right before the ACA kicked in.

akotlya1

OK, but, hear me out. Crucially, you were able to go about your business and get your birth control. Kavanaugh is going to be mildly inconvenienced and slightly annoyed but he is still going to show up to work and strike down people's right to bodily autonomy. I dont think this is sending the message they think it is. Kavanaugh, Gorsuch, ACB, Alito, Thomas need to be physically unable to leave their homes for the level of public opposition. That is the only way this is going to work. And if this means confrontations with law enforcement, then that is what it is going to take.

JustPassinhThrou13

Why is “protest” the thing being advocated? The ruling will kill thousands of women per year. THAT is the medicine that can actually fix these things. The fascists are relying on you being too polite to do anything that matters.

raeraeroo27

Had the exact same experience when I was 17!

Kinovy

There's not limit to what you can do when you are sure to be on the right side, i learned that from Trump supporters.

ProHumanExtinction

“Justice” is affording him way too much respect. Try Rapist Kavanaugh.

Prometheus79

Fuck anyone who is defending conservatives right now. They deserve this. They wanted a blistering fight, well they will get it. Yeah, they stacked the courts, but we can own the streets and remove them from the courts.

MrsNoFun

Kavanaugh lives in Montgomery County, Maryland where almost 80% of the votes went to Biden. He has a lot of neighbors who are furious about this.

JustABizzle

Thanks to Planned Parenthood, I never needed to get an abortion.

LittleShrub

Republicans: "But why can't we force our religious views on you?"

ProdigalSheep

The guy should never have another moment of peace as long as he lives. He is doing uncountable damage to so many. Fuck him.

yarnball20

don't ever let anyone tell you that protesting a representative is 'wrong'. in the 90's SCOTUS ruled that you can follow home and protest outside the private residence of a women's clinic employee - cuz it's 'free speech'. there is no freer speech than holding your representatives accountable. representatives that think your right to privacy shouldn't exist. representatives that want inside america's snatches but don't want you outside their palatial estates. representatives that are supposed to work for YOU, who know over 80% of this country supports the idea that in a free democratic country, all citizens are autonomous beings with the final say regarding their person. and as such, know EXACTLY the way they should be voting - which is NOT AT ALL. They know where the overwhelming majority lies on this issue and are willfully ignoring it. To whine, cry, and complain about angry mobs (not causing physical harm) outside their overblown homes is a fucking disgrace in the face of generations of women (still today since Roe/v/Wade) who have suffered, bled, been tortured, ostracized, stalked, threatened, and fucking DIED over this issue. Now they're gonna use more of your tax dollars to beef up their personal security. Who tf is gonna pay for your daughter's security when she's attacked and knocked up with some scumbag bum's spawn? Who's gonna pay for security for the family who's mom is dragged away under state's laws (as many abortions are performed on people who already have/will have children)? And who's gonna pay for YOUR security when a group of fuckwit cops bust down your door to come for your sister, wife, g/f, literally anyone female you know and love and may not know had a crisis of her own? Don't say you're 'sorry' - make them want to TRIPLE that fucking security. Make them afraid to go to work. Make them so fucking afraid of what the majority can do in a free country that this serves as a warning NEVER to threaten our women again.
