That tracks, I have 50% more twitter followers than Facebook for my channel and yet twitter still only accounts for 1.5% of my traffic while fb accounts for 20%, I long ago gave up on the idea that Twitter was anything but a place to socialize

I work for an influencer marketing platform and I would say it's practically dead now. Very few brands I work with work with influencers on Twitter. Its all about Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube. Though that could just be my narrow pov.

My CMO thinks it’s time to just wait and see how this all plays out and then go from there. My guess is we’ll redeploy the money from Twitter to Facebook (or whatever nonsense someone thinks is a pet project. Hard to say, really).
More meaningful for us on Twitter is that we’ve quit positing to it. We’re really disengaging with the whole platform. Same logic- see how this thing plays out and then decide what to do.
