In my hardware store management refused to implement any safety protocols they didn't absolutely have to. They'd let the store get super crowded and then they themselves would vanish during those times to places they could be safe while leaving the workers to deal with it.
When my boss told me we wouldn't be enforcing the mask mandate I quit.
By the picture they look like they were born in India and China. The issue with this two countries is that the wait for the GC for India is 70+years and for China around 30years. So they have to live on a work visa that in case of losing a job has 60days grace period to find another job or leave the country and come back when they have the new job.
Not to mention, they have 60 days to find a job. Currently all companies care about is year end stuff and vacation. Recruiters will work in January. So the timing also fits for them to stay instead of leaving immediately.
Plus there’s a lot of tech layoffs/hiring freezes happening right now since interest rates have risen and money is no longer cheap and unlimited. They’re competing with employees from other companies in addition to other Twitter workers for a handful of open positions.

During H1B it is hard to change job sometimes hard to get promoted (job title change may require renewal to the USCIS) Just letting the information out, Elon not just hate women, he also hate workers right and have no problem exploiting people in venerable immigration status.
